A highway will be there, a roadway, and it will be called the Highway of Holiness. Isaiah 35:8.
They captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze chains and took him to Babylon. When he was in distress, he entreated the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. When he prayed to Him, He was moved by his entreaty and heard his supplication and brought him again to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God. 2 Chronicles 33:11-13.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
A shift from rebellion to a heart willing to obey because it has been moved by grateful love is the most beautiful gift you can give to Me. When a heart that was locked in the hardness of stubborn determination to continue lustful, sinful, disobedient behavior softens to a sincere determination to conform to the desires of the one who cares for him it causes jubilant celebration in My Kingdom. No matter how great My resistance to and My grief over that soul is, when the disobedient one repents and changes his attitude in willingness to comply, My heart is thrilled and I remember the disobedience no more. I am overwhelmed with love and I overwhelm the repentant heart with My love. At last, I can apply the blood and the grace of My Son to that soul and all is new.
I was so thrilled when, after Elijah confronted Ahab and adjured him for the evil he had done to Naboth over his vineyard, Ahab repented and turned to Me in true sorrow over his sins, that I pointed out to Elijah with joy the repentance of Ahab and promised to withhold the judgment that I was about to execute on him during his lifetime for all the rebellious evil he had done. And surely there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do evil in My sight according to all his wife Jezebel incited him to do. He acted very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites had done, whom I cast out before the sons of Israel. 1 Kings 21:20-29. I restored the rebellious and evil doing king Manasseh when he repented, prayed to Me, and acknowledged that I was his LORD and God, I gave him back the kingdom, releasing him miraculously from his prison cell. 2 Chronicles 33:13. And do you remember the reception for the prodigal son when his heart changed and he came back asking to serve the father? Celebration time! Luke 15:21-24.
There is celebration and restoration when the rebellious one repents, when a sinner turns from his ways to My ways. When you return to serve Me then I am committed to keep you in My house serving you forever. This was the story of the prodigal son.
When your heart softens and repents so that you who once cared little about My Words now seek to please Me, to serve Me with your life, then I become your servant forever.
Jesus came not to be served, but to serve, to give His life for you so you can live forever. And He is the same yesterday, today and forever. All He asks is that you repent and come to Him. And in seeing Him, you are seeing Me. We are of one heart and one mind and one Spirit.
My heart may seem closed to you while you are locked in the hardness of your rebellion, but when you turn to seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you. It is like the father running to meet the prodigal son the moment the son’s heart turned back to the father. In fact, the son decided to come to his father as a servant to serve him. And the minute his heart turned to be his father’s servant; the father became his servant. Before, he stayed out of the father’s house and remained in famine in the pig pen shut out of all the abundance by disobedience, but when his heart turned again to his father everything opened into the father’s house and all the abundance therein as the father rushed to celebrate and serve him—to clothe him and feed him with the delights of his house.
And this is all there for you who are willing to obey, to serve, to love.
Jesus has provided you the way home to an open Heaven. The way back to Eden and beyond. I make a way where there is no way.
Believers are under an open Heaven. They have an opened portal before them. I have opened a new and living way through that formerly iron clad heaven inhabited by the prince of the air, who became the “god” of this world by Adam’s abdication of his heavenly seat to him, and till the time of Jesus it was a fight for My angels to get through the second heavens. Remember it took Gabriel 21 days to fight off the dark prince of the air and finally he had to call for the help of Michael to get to Daniel with My message from the third Heaven where I dwell. But now the one who was in Heaven descended to earth and ascended back taking a multitude of saints who had been restrained in Abraham’s bosom in the heart of the earth until the portal, the ancient doors shut at the rebellion of Adam, were again flung open. By descending and ascending My Son forged the way through that iron-clad door that no one had entered since Adam’s rebellion. But I opened a glimpse of it on the night My Son was born in the night sky over the fields of Bethlehem and I rent it open when My Spirit came down at the baptism of Jordan and descended and remained upon the Son of Man. And that portal has not closed. My beloved John on the island of Patmos looked and behold! A door open in Heaven and he heard the voice as of a trumpet: Come up here! Revelation 4:1. And immediately, and here is the key, he was in the Spirit and he entered into another realm. Revelation 4:2.
Do you know what that way to the open Heaven is in your life? It is Jesus, but not every believer is living in the open Heaven for they have not entered the open door, they have not found the portal. Why do they stay in lack, like the elder son in the parable of the prodigal son, and not know that they are with Me always and all I have is theirs? Luke 15:31. Why do they hang in the outer darkness when they could come into the heavenly realms of light? Because it is a narrow way that few find. It is the way of worship, it is walking in the spirit and not in the flesh, it is the matter of willing obedience to submit to My commandments, to My Words rather than your own.
I describe this portal to the open heaven in Isaiah, you may have read it many times, but I want you to see it in a new way. I have made a Way where there was no way. I have opened Heaven so that you, like John on Patmos, can be there to receive information, rest, provision, counsel, protection, and all the benefits of the Kingdom even now while you are still in this world. “For you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels in festal gathering, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12:22-24. But how did you get there? The way is the Highway of Holiness, that is, of willing obedience to live in line with My Word all day every day and all night every night. Look to Isaiah and find it. A highway (in Hebrew, “maslul,” which means a thoroughfare as a turnpike, from “calal” which is to lift up, cast up, prize), it is part of your high calling in Christ, and a way (“derek,” meaning a way, a journey) and it will be called the Highway (derek) of Holiness. The unclean (those who are not born again cannot enter the Kingdom or even see it) will not travel on it, but it will be for him who walks the Way. And fools (the fool says in his heart there is no God and lives in lawlessness and despises My Word) will not wander (this is not a way you wander onto without purpose to be with Me) on it. No lion will be there, or will any vicious beast go up on it, these will not be found there. The devil and his demons cannot interfere with this road and portal as they did in the second heavens prior to My tearing it open this way, this is My direct line of communication and encounter with those who are Mine on earth and I allow no interference from the enemy any longer, as he did with My messages to Daniel. But the redeemed will walk there, by this way you who are redeemed by the Blood of My Son access Heaven even now as you run forward forgetting what lies behind to your high calling in Christ. And how do you stay on this superhighway that takes you in a flash, a twinkling of an eye into My throne room? Revelation 4:2-3. The ransomed of the LORD will return and come with joyful shouting to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. Here it is again! The narrow way is the way of thanksgiving and praise, the voice of thanksgiving, the joyful shout! And the result? “They will find gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” Isaiah 35:8-11.
You have come to Mt. Zion and the church of the firstborn. An open Heaven is over you who walk in the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
That is not a highway you walk on waiting to go, it is the highway, the portal, that takes you there today. It is the high path to the open Heaven.
David sang to Me, “Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down!” I did, but even better, I made it the way you can ascend up. My Son descended but then He ascended and took captives captive to go with Him and He gave gifts to men, even now. Ephesians 4:8.
Once your desire is to be My servant and to please Me in all you do, I become your servant and give you the desires of your heart. I give gifts to men. Have you never read, “Blessed are those servants whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself (ready for action, ready to serve and work), and have them recline, and will come up and wait (diakoneo in Greek, which means “serve, minister, care for the needs of others, actively serve”) on them.” Luke 12:37. For the Son of Man did not come to be served (diakoneo) but to serve (diakoneo) to give His life to ransom you. Matthew 20:28.
If you are willing and obey you will eat the best of the land, but if you refuse and rebel the sword will consume you (the sword of your own words, death and life are in the had of your tongue). But I have opened a way for the redeemed to enter Zion singing, even now. Why not come and join with the journey? Jesus leads you with joyful singing. Psalm 105:43: “And He brought forth His people with joyful singing, His chosen ones with a joyful shout.” I surround you with songs of deliverance, and those are victory songs. Psalm 32:7; 1 Corinthians 15:57. And I bring you out of the things of the world to Zion even now. “Then He brought them out laden with silver and gold, and among His tribes there was not one who stumbled (was feeble, sick, or weak).” Psalm 105:37.
I love you. Open your heart to worship. Invite in My presence into your heart in affectionate love. And let Me hold you close. Try it now. Let everything else go that your mind is so busy on, even good things you are praying to Me for, and just open to an encounter with the one who loves you beyond all you can ask or imagine. Everything else will flow from that. The minute your heart softens and turns to Me seeking to serve Me, it is at that moment that I become your servant forever.
Blessed are those servants whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and serve and minister to them. Luke 12:37.
