Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:2-3.

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High! To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, with the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, with resounding music upon the lyre. Psalm 92:1-3

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

How can you be pure? You cannot do this on your own, though you can help Me out in this, but Jesus must wash you. Remember what He told Peter? It took place at the Passover meal the night before He died. Jesus poured water into the basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. When He came to Simon Peter. Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You wash my feet?” Jesus answered and said him, “What I do you do not realize now, but you will understand hereafter.” Peter said to Him, “Never shall You wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, then wash not only my feet, but also my hands and my head.” Jesus said to him, “He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.” For He knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, “Not all of you are clean.” John 13:5-11. Already you see the church forming in these disciples. Christ loves the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27.

It all starts, as it did in the plan of the Tabernacle in the wilderness I gave Moses, at the bronze altar, bronze being the metal that symbolized judgment, with the blood of the pure lamb. You wash your robes and make them white in the blood of the lamb. In Him you receive My righteousness as you are released from your sins by His blood. He has brought you out from the prison of debt for the eternal life you lost by offering His eternal life in the flesh in atonement for your sin. It all starts with the cleansing of your sins and your unrighteousness. But it does not stop there. You must leave the worldly, impure thinking of the old man and walk in newness of life by the cleansing by the washing of the water of the Word. This was symbolized by the laver that the priests had to wash their hands and feet in before entering from the outer to the inner court of the Tabernacle.

And it then in the purity of prayer, that is, spending time in the Light (symbolized by the Menorah on which you begin to shine with your wick turned towards the servant Lamp, for Jesus came to serve you and make you pure and He must always be in the center and the center of your focus, as the servant Lamp was on the Menorah) and eating the Body and drinking the Blood of My Son (symbolized by the golden table upon which the unleavened bread of My Presence and the hin of wine was placed) and becoming like Him by walking with a blameless heart, it is then that the Spirit can truly move and speak in your purified heart in the Holy of Holies, the inmost sanctuary of all.

Jesus told His disciples that they were clean already because of the Word He had spoken to them. If you have a problem with hatred, immoral thoughts, bitterness, and condemnation, you are not perverted and lost if these things cause  you distress. They are part of the fiery darts that Satan will fire at you as often as he has an opportunity to do so, but you do not have to entertain and harbor them. Talk to that thought and tell it to go in no uncertain terms to be quiet and go. Jesus commanded unclean spirits to be quiet and exit people. You can do the same. Do not let thoughts torment you and ruin your day. Cast them off with the slave girl. Like Sarah.

Live in, with, and through Jesus for He is pure. The purest of men. He always spoke My Words and did only the works I showed Him. Let Him be your teacher. He invites you to come to His school, “Come to Me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and your souls will find rest, for My yoke is easy and My burden light.” The more time you spend with Him, the more like Him you will become, for He will disclose Himself to you. And He is pure.

Live your life in resurrection power. My Son is the resurrection and the life and resurrection is perfection. You know in your glorified body you will be pure as light and live as the angels in Heaven. And that power is in you now. Paul prayed you would realize this and utilize it.

Jesus washed the feet of all His disciples that night before He died, but even though He washed Judas, He said Judas was not clean. Why? Satan entered his heart. John 13:27. You cannot serve Me and Satan. You cannot live with one foot in the lusts of the world and one foot in the Kingdom. You must take off your shoes on Holy ground.  Do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil a place in your life. Ephesians 4:26-27. Shut the door on his thoughts that he sends to you. Rebuke him as Jesus did by quoting My Word back to his suggestions and crafty questions that cause doubt, fear, anger, self-righteousness, immorality, and pride.

Walking in purity means you do not dwell on or entertain offense, immoral, obscene thoughts or speech, lies, fear,  anger, hatred, bitterness, malice, gossiping, pride, selfishness, envy, greed, or resentment more than you would a fleeting cloud that passes by dropping a shower of rain and then is gone with the sun out again drying the wetness it left behind. Kind of like the way a dog shakes water off his coat till none remains on him. Learn from that.

And how do you walk so purely? Just learn who you are in Christ and be who you are. When a commoner marries a prince of royalty, she suddenly steps into a new dignity and is seen by all who knew her former manner of life as someone of confidence and majesty.

You are a royal priesthood; a people of My own possession I have made you complete in dignity in Christ. You are precious and paid for at an awesome price beyond calculation. And that is how I see you in Him—holy, blameless and beyond reproach. Pure. Forever pure. Be who you are. Walk in a manner that proclaims the calling you have received to My own Kingdom and glory. Jesus has given you His authority, use it. Elisha took a double portion of the spirit of Elijah and immediately put it to use as he parted the Jordan River with the rolled-up mantle of Elijah that fell on him as Elijah ascended. Well, the mantle of Jesus has fallen on you who believe in His ascension into glory for once He arrived at My throne, He received the promised Holy Spirit from Me and poured Him down to clothe you in power from on High. Take it up as Elisha did and go forward in the power and authority of My Son.

And if you are having a problem with your flesh, just come to Jesus and ask Him to help you. He was tempted in every way you are yet He never sinned. He will show you how. He is the Way. And He is your ultimate teacher. But He is also in you to give you the grace to do it.

But I will tell you a secret that will get you on the fast track to purity. And yet, it is not a secret at all, I have it everywhere in My Word. I tell you to sing with joy songs of praise and thanksgiving to enter My gates, to abide in My house, to hear My voice, and to still the enemy. I tell you to come into My presence with joyful singing. And I tell you to be filled with the Holy Spirit, who is PURE and will make you PURE, by speaking to yourself and one another in psalms, hymns and songs of the spirit (tongues), making continual melody to Me in your heart. That will drive away every impure thought that is aimed at you by the evil one. Praise stills the enemy and brings him down every time. Jehoshaphat knew. So did David. So did Zachariah, So did Mary. So did Paul and Silas. And I would like to say, so do you.

I also tell you to edify yourselves by speaking in tongues, the language you release from your spirit, from your depths. Let My Spirit take the helm with you and lead you in prayer for you do not know how to pray as you ought. Let Him take the lead in you and follow.

You will find the keys to a pure life of beauty and righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit in Ephesians 4-5, Colossians 3, Psalm 100, Psalm 150, and Proverbs 4. You would do well to read these and take them to heart. And as you read or listen as you do chores on an audio online Bible, My Word will wash you.

I love you. Be pure as I am pure. Be holy as I am holy. Be righteous as I am righteous. How? Just be who I made you in Christ Jesus your Lord. A new creation filled with Holy Spirit power and praise. Yes, My Spirit sings in you and I do too. Come and sing with Me and I’ll dry your tears. And I will make you pure.

How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Psalm 84:4.
