And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He breathed His last. Luke 23:46.

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God. Jude 1:20-21.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

There is only one way to be constant and consistent in life. Do you know what it is? You need to know if you are easily agitated and knocked off track. It is simple, it has to do with what foundation you are resting upon and being built up upon. It has to do with where you are rooted and planted. It has to do with what vine you are abiding in as a branch.

Jesus explained, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”  Matthew 7:23-27. And later He went deeper, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5.

And then My servant Paul picked up on the theme, “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.” Colossians 2:6-7. And digging deeper, “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21.

Rooted and grounded in Love. And there you will bear the fruit of Love. Much love. Love without limits giving stability in your times. Love unshakeable. Love unspeakable filled with glory. Love that is stronger than death. Love never fails. Enduring Love. Love is eternal.

And I told you many years ago in a song, “The righteous man will sprout like the palm tree, he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.  Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, to declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” Psalm 92:12-14. To comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. Isaiah 61:2-3.

Being rooted and grounded in Christ as you grow in Him until you all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of My Son, to maturity, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, you are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. Ephesians 4:13-16. Love. It always comes back to love.

Make sure you are planted in My house, in My garden, and that My Word is planted in your heart. Then you will be always where you should be. You will be in the place of grace. You will be abiding in love. And in love there is peace and there is joy.

And I will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is your treasure. Isaiah 33:5-6.

But now I will tell you the safest place to be. It is the place of perfect blessing, protection, and provision. Jesus told you in His last words of His life in the flesh: “And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He breathed His last.” Luke 23:46. First words are significant and so are the last. In My hands is the only place you really want to be from first to last and forever. My hands fashioned you from the dust of the clay and My hands receive you into glory. You are all the work of My hands. David knew, “It is better to fall into the hands of the LORD than into the hands of men. For equal to His majesty is the mercy He bestows.” 1 Chronicles 21:13. And those who follow Jesus are in His hand and all in His hand are in My hand and there is no snatching out of My hand. In My hand the evil one cannot touch you. David sang, “You have enclosed me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is too high; I cannot attain to it.” Psalm 139:5-6.

My prophet Habakkuk wrote, “His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, And there is the hiding of His power.” Habakkuk 3:4. By the power of My hand I deliver you. I lift you up in My hands and hold you to My heart. In the shelter of My secret place.

But I stretch out My hands all the day to an unbelieving people. So many reject the hand I reach out to them. I long to gather you into My hands to bless you and protect you. In My hands you will find all that you need.

And in My hands you will find comfort. The comfort of a mother for her child. The comfort of a father for his son. In My hands you are safe and you are secure. And it is there you learn My ways and you come to know who you are by whose you are. I have written your name in the palm of My hand. And in My hands, I can form you anew, like the clay in the hand of the potter. I renew your youth.

Never underestimate the power in My hand. Pharaoh and his army experienced it when they came against those who I carried in My hand.

I love you. Entrust your life into My hands and it will become eternal. Learn from Jesus. As He breathed His last in His existence according to the flesh, He put His sprit into My hands. And you know the result. I raised Him from the dead to glory. And so with you also. For where your Lord went, you shall follow.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30.
