But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will come into Your house, at Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You. Psalm 5:7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
You know, you really do not have to figure out who I AM. I tell you who I AM, and specifically who I AM to you. And I don’t tell you just once but over and over and over. But many, in fact, most people, do not know Me, even believers, for who I really am. And this grieves My Spirit for I have more than shown you just who I AM. Why will you not come to Me to receive My great goodness that is stored up, pent up, in My heart for you and let Me open the floodgates of Heaven and pour out a blessing you cannot contain? Far more than you can even ask or imagine.
What is the problem? Why do you keep Me so far away when I am knocking at your door and stretching out My hands to you all the day? My Son was primarily grieved by one thing when He walked among you as man, that you had hardened your hearts against Him. He called you to come to Him but then, as He concluded with the Pharisees, “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.” John 5:39-40. And yet, no one who comes will I ever cast away.
My Son wept, and in seeing Him you see Me, over the City of Jerusalem because though He longed to protect them by gathering them to Him as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings, they would not be gathered. Like the good Shepherd, He gathers the lambs into His arms and carries them in His bosom. But if you won’t come into My everlasting arms and let the shadow of My Hand cover you, what can I do? What can I say that will draw you home to Me?
I had the plan from before the foundation of the world. The Lamb slain to take away all that divided us so that by the abundance of My loving kindness (hesed) you can come into My house and abide therein forever.
I told Moses who I am. He asked Me to show Him My glory. He had seen the cloud of My glory and He had even come into it at My invitation and spent forty days and nights with Me therein two times, but he wanted more. Like Paul, he wanted to know Me and that power that flowed from Me. He had seen My wonders and he had experienced My goodness. And I came down and revealed My goodness to him, who I AM to him. “The LORD (יהוה), the LORD (יהוה), compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth.” Exodus 34:6. Full of compassion (mercy), grace, lovingkindness, and truth. But actually you can sum up who I AM in one Word, I AM Love. But a certain kind of love, in Hebrew the word is “hesed” (חֶ֥סֶד) that towers higher than the heavens and deeper than the nether world. David sang of My hesed, “The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who worship Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who worship Him.” Psalm 103:8-13.
But now I will give you the definition of hesed in a way you can understand, because it is unfathomable in its height, depth, length and breadth, it is as infinite and as compact as I AM. JESUS IS THE LOVINGKINDNESS OF GOD. JESUS IS MY HESED MANIFEST AMONG YOU SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT HESED IS IN ALL ITS FULLNESS.
Namely, I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself, not counting your trespasses against you, and I have committed to you the Word of reconciliation. I have given you His Name, the only Name given among men by which you are saved. 2 Corinthians 5:19; Acts 4:12.
Nothing will be able to separate you from My hesed, My love, which is in Christ Jesus your Lord. Romans 8:39.
With confidence, because of My great hesed, you can come into My house, into the very Holy of Holies and speak with Me there.
Why can you come in? For the same reason the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies—only with the blood of an unblemished sacrificial lamb or other clean animal of the herd or flock that bore you sins and made atonement for them on the propitiatory (Mercy Seat) therein. And Jesus, as your great High Priest of the good things to come, as entered My Holy of Holies in Heaven with His own Blood and put it on the propitiatory (Mercy Seat) forever as an eternal redemption, always making atonement and intercession for you. A new and living way I have opened for you to come into My house, the innermost chamber.
And the Blood speaks louder than the blood of Abel, for his called for vengeance, but the Blood of Jesus speaks mercy, kindness, love, reconciliation as it atones for you giving an eternal life for the eternal life you killed in Adam (remember Jesus told the Pharisees they were trying to kill Him because His Word found no place in their hearts, just as it did not in the heart of Adam).
And love then consists in this: not that you have loved Me but that I have loved you and sent My Son as the propitiation for your sins. 1 John 4:10. By this My love was manifested in you, that I sent My only begotten Son into the world that you might live through Him. 1 John 4:9.
Jesus is the radiance of My glory and the EXACT representation of My nature. And My nature is hesed. Which I defined to Moses as compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, and filled with lovingkindness and truth. And Jesus upholds all things by the Word of His power. He is the Word. And the Word is God. There is power in My Word. The power generated by hesed. Which is the most powerful force of all, for it overcomes death and raises you to life, abundant life, at a whole new level of goodness and grace.
You were lost as sheep gone astray in your malice, lawless deeds, and rebellious thoughts, hating and being hated, but then My kindness, the kindness of God your Savior, and love for mankind appeared—and how did it appear to stop you in your tracks and turn your life around, saved and whole? A child was born to you, a Son given you, and on His shoulders dominion rests, and His Name is Wonderful, Counselor, God Hero, Father Forever, Prince of Peace. And He saved you, not on the basis of deeds you have done in righteousness, but according to My mercy, according to My hesed. Titus 3:4.
And do you know how Paul who knew Me by revelation of My Son, who was well versed in Hebrew, translated hesed? As rich in mercy, and having great love, surpassing riches of grace, and kindness towards you. Ephesians 2:4-7.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if ANYONE hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will dine with him and he with Me. Revelation 3:20. If you won’t come at My invitation, then I will go to your house and see if you will give Me an invitation so that I can lavish My grace upon you in Christ Jesus your Lord.
For in seeing Jesus, you see Me, and I am hesed, which is love beyond love.
Do you know My Name? I am the LORD who heals you, the LORD your peace (shalom), the LORD your banner, the LORD your provider, the LORD your Shepherd, the LORD your righteousness, the LORD your deliverer, the LORD your redeemer, the LORD your Savior, the LORD your refuge and fortress, and many other names I give you. And if you know My Name and call upon Me in truth, I will set you securely on High and when you will call upon Me, I will answer you, I will be with you in trouble; I will rescue you and honor you. With a long life I will satisfy you and show you My salvation. Yeshuah, Jesus. Psalm 91:15-16.
I have given you My Son, My Word, My Spirit and in these gifts I have given you all I have and all I AM and guaranteed you will be with Me always if you will just receive My Son. If you will receive My hesed—My great, abundant, abounding love with which I have loved you before the foundation of the world. You are Mine and you are precious in My sight.
I love you. I have given you eternal life in My Son. Will you come to receive that life?
