For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:12.
He who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but he who seeks evil, evil will come to him. Proverbs 11:27.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
The more you start seeing My favor, the more favor will come on you. Why? You have opened your eyes so you see, opened your ears so they hear, and opened your heart and I can heal you. What Isaiah prophesied, what My Son repeated, and what Paul told the Jews in Rome, that is, “For the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them,’” actually gets you a good result if you just reverse it and do the opposite. Isaiah 6:10; Matthew 13:15, Acts 28:27. A dull, hardened heart NEVER sees favor, and consequently cannot receive it. Like the barren bush in the desert that doesn’t see good when it comes compared to the tree that puts its tap root down deep to the living water. Planted in the House of the LORD you stay green and fruitful even in old age. Favor.
It is not time to slumber in the dark. Awake sleeper and Christ will give you LIGHT.
How do you know you have My favor? See favor everywhere in your day. Seek and you will find. See everything as from My lovingkindness—your meals, your home, your family, your work, your life—see them all as beautiful opportunities I give to you to live out your high calling in Christ. And see every little thing in your day, from a cup of hot coffee, tea or cocoa, to a friend’s text or email greeting your day, to having awakened to a new day in which to see My favor, to opportunities to bless and to receive. Stop thinking of going to church as a burden, a favor you are doing for Me and see it as an act of My favor that by My lovingkindness you can enter My house and come into My presence. The Israelites longed for this, but they could only come into the outer court of the Tabernacle for only Aaron and his sons, which were not many, could enter the Holy Place of inside the Tabernacle tent, and only the High Priest could go into the Holy of Holies, and finally only once a year. But those who had extraordinary favor went in, even everyday to talk to Me, I am speaking of Moses and David, who were not priests but they were in close relationship with Me. Which you all could be from the least to the greatest, but most choose not to be. They have no time for Me.
See yourself like Abraham, Moses and David. Favored. Friend. Beloved. And intimate friend that I revealed Myself to in My wonderful love. And you will be. Pursue the relationship. Pursue spiritual gifts, but above all, pursue love. And I am love. Taste and see My goodness and trust in it towards you. But you should see yourself in a whole new light since Jesus came. I see you in Jesus, My beloved Son, and I see and love in you what I see and love in Christ. As He is so are you in this world. Awake to righteousness. You have Mine in Christ Jesus your Lord. I no longer call you slaves but friends if you keep My Word. See yourself in Him when you come to Me with all your sins gone and gloriously triumphant. An overcomer and one to be welcomed in the Holy of Holies.
No one who comes to Me will I ever reject. I invite you in, but if you won’t come to Me, I go seeking you. I come to your door and knock.
It is you who push Me away, not vice versa. I pull you to Me, but most of you push Me away. Whether it be indifference, fear, unbelief, lust, or ingratitude, many will not let Me near them or I would heal them. This has happened from the beginning, with Adam, and later with so many to this day. I told My prophet Hosea, “When Israel was a child, I loved him, out of Egypt I called My son, but the more I called the further that they ran away from Me to idols and yet it is I who taught Ephraim to walk, I took them in My arms; but they did not know that I healed them. I led them with human cords, with bonds of love, and I became to them as one who lifts the yoke from their jaws; and I bent down and fed them.” Hosea 11:1-4. But though I stoop down to feed and heal you, you often drive Me away. As Cain did, like his father did before him. People just do not know that I AM your healer, provider, Shepherd, helper, deliverer, and friend. But above all, if you will return to Me, I am your Father forever.
I am love and I am light. My Son is the Light of the world for He came and tabernacled among you as God and man. “He is the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:9-13.
His own received Him not.
And yet I am always inviting you to Me and in My Son I continue to do so in a much more urgent way. I sent Him to reconcile us as One so I can receive you with honor and love, having taken away all that divided us in My Son. I stretch out My hands to you. I call you by name. I want to show you grace and favor beyond all you can ask or imagine. How great is the goodness I have stored up for those who love Me, who honor Me, who revere Me. Who know just who I am. I look to see if your eyes are on Me. “You have made my heart beat faster, my sister, my bride. You have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes, with a single strand of your necklace.” Song of Songs 4:9. And My eyes are looking for those whose hearts are toward Me to show the favor, to shower them with blessings. “For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” 2 Chronicles 16:9.
For those who are My sheep, who have hearts for Me, “I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing. Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.” Ezekiel 34:26-27.
I love you. Favor, showers of favor. For those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through Jesus Christ your Lord. Be always looking for My favor. It is there for you. Blessings are on the head of the righteous, and so you are in Christ Jesus. Proverbs 10:6. Be expecting them.
