Too many of us are struggling with life, with ourselves, with others, with the unrest and the pandemic, with the election, and even with God. It is like the devil is using the pile up technique to get us out of the household of faith into his realm of darkness and doubt.

But God has good news for you! Life is not a struggle if you will just snuggle close to God. Let Him be your helper and comfort.

STOP STRUGGLING AND START SNUGGLING.
Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. James 4:8. Casting all your cares on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.

And when He is with you, there is nothing that can take you down—not temptations, weakness, and evil from within or from without, not sin, not pride, not sickness or disease, not finances, not foes or friends, nothing. He is present as your Helper.

Behold, God is my helper; the LORD is the sustainer of my soul. Psalm 54:4.

He is a very present help in time of trouble, even when YOU are troubling yourself. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.

Then my enemies will turn back on the day when I call; this I know, that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. Psalm 56:9-11.

God is for you and invites you to come into His everlasting arms and cast all your care on Him because He cares for you. When you have the perfect solution already, and Jesus is always the answer, the problems you face do not make you anxious or afraid.

It is time to stop struggling and start snuggling. Life should not be a struggle but a snuggle. He puts His left hand under your head and embraces you with His right hand. Song of Songs 2:6; 8:3. And in His left hand there are riches and honor and in His right hand is long life. Proverbs 3:16. He is there to make you the perfect person He made you to be if you only you come into the embrace of His outstretched arms and ask Him to fix your failings instead of pushing Him away and trying to fix them yourself.

How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Matthew 23:37.

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock, In His arm He will gather the lambs and carry them in His bosom. Isaiah 40:11.

DON’T WRESTLE WITH GOD IN PRAYER, NESTLE WITH HIM IN PRAYER.

When you come to pray do not yell and scream, beg and cry. Just draw up close, tell Him what you need, and let Him tell you great and mighty things you could not know while He feeds you with every good thing as the mother bird does her chicks. “I, the LORD, am your God, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10.

And how did He bring them up from the land of Egypt? Let Him tell you: “You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself.”  Exodus 19:4.

And in the howling waste of a wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He guarded him as the pupil of His eye. Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions. Deuteronomy 32:10-11.

Let Him take you up on His wings and teach you to fly. Deuteronomy 32:11; Isaiah 40:31. Entrust your life to a faithful Creator.

The whole Bible is all about snuggling up with God. It’s about lambs being carried in His bosom, little children held in His embrace and blessed, nestlings hovered over and covered by His wings, His Spirit in you and Christ in you, your hope of glory, and Christ in the Father, and the Father in Christ, and Christ in you, the Father in you, and you in the Father, and joining with Christ you become one Spirit with Him too, and being held within His hand you are in the Father’s hand, for they are One, and there is no snatching away from His hand, and His left hand under your head and His right hand embracing you as His hands stretch out to you all the day as He calls you by name for you are His. And God has seated you in heavenly places in Christ and Jesus is sitting with the Father on His throne and you are sitting with Him so you are seated with Jesus and the Father on the Father’s throne and that is indeed a snuggle! Revelation 3:21.

And what does He seek but to tabernacle with us! From the Tabernacle He commanded Moses to build with the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai so that He could dwell with them and lead them on their journey to the promised land, to Jesus becoming flesh and tabernacling among us, and finally to the Heavenly City joining with earth so that God tabernacles with us forever. And we have become His tabernacles with Christ in us, our hope of glory, and the Holy Spirit dwelling in our spirits making us a tabernacle of God in the Spirit!

And the unceasing call to you from God’s heart to come to Him and abide in Him, as the branch in the vine, and to bear much fruit just from the connection with Him.

It is all about God snuggling up with you and you snuggling up with Him so that you are one for all eternity. He draws you with human cords with bands of love and raises you to Him as one raises an infant to his cheeks.

And you are the Body of Christ and the bride of Christ and your Maker has become your Husband in an everlasting covenant of love. Yes, it is all about your snuggling up with Him and His snuggling up with you. Life was not meant to be a struggle but a snuggle. Let Him complete the good work He has begun in you as you snuggle and nestle in prayer with Him, who is LOVE, pure LOVE.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.

And along this same line of connection, the LORD tells you in Psalm 1 that the one who meditates on His Word day and night and finds it delightful will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. Psalm 1:3.

God tells you to be rooted and grounded in Jesus, the Messiah (Christ, anointed One), and thus to be rooted and grounded in Love, and to be filled with the Holy Spirit in the inner man.

That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the believers what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19.

Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7.

Roots draw up water continuously, so if your roots are tapped into the living water in Christ you are not going occasionally with a bucket when you get thirsty or need cleansing to draw it out, you are tapped in by the roots to a continuous feed of living water.

YOU ARE LIVE STREAMING FROM A CONTINUOUS FEED!

In your life, in your very innermost being, your spirit, you have a live stream with a continuous feed. A continuous feed from the living water that flows from God’s throne in Heaven.

And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:1-2.

“It is this Jesus whom God raised up, a fact to which we are all witnesses. Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.” Acts 2:32-33.

Come to our November fellowship as we gather on Zoom to feast on God’s Word, put our roots down to the live stream in our spirits from the continuous feed from the throne of grace, and snuggle close to God for the empowerment we need in these troublesome times to be overcomers with Jesus, our great good Shepherd and great High Priest.

I hope to see you there so we can celebrate His love and exalt His Name together!

Shalom, shalom!
