Those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Psalm 34:10.

Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually! Psalm 105:4.

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Which of you desires long life filled with happiness and all good things? Search the Scriptures for how to live a happy, blessed life. And once you start searching, you will find that this is what My Word is all about.

“Come, O children, listen to me;” sang David, “I will teach you the fear of the LORD. What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil    and your lips from speaking deceit. Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:11-14. First note, he is talking to children, those who are in My family of believers, but they are “children,” those who are not mature in spiritual growth but are on the path to it. And he begins with the “fear of the LORD,” which is the beginning of wisdom, and wisdom is the principal thing to walking in the truth, and the truth sets you free to walk in prosperity, health and peace.

And then he asks the basic question that all are wanting for their lives, which of you desires long life filled with good days? And all would have to answer that desire is in their heart. All want good days and not bad days, beautiful days not ugly days, happy days not sad days, blessed days not cursed days. So if  you identify with that, listen to My Words, for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.

So what are you to do? “Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Keep your tongue from evil, idle, godless chatter. If you search through My Words you will find that I often warn you not to slander, gossip, judge, condemn, speak harshly, scold, nag, backbite, meddle, speak rudely, use obscene or offensive speech, cause strife, but rather to speak that which exhorts, edifies, and encourages, in other words, that which gives grace to those who hear. And I make it very clear I hate lies. And I counsel never to spread lies or bear false witness.

Remember too that I called an evil report what the Israelites I redeemed out of Egypt said in spying out the Promised Land. Though they agreed with Me that it was indeed a good land flowing with milk and honey, they disagreed with Me and went stout against My Word saying they could not conquer it as I had told them I would do for them and with them. Instead they refused to go in saying that I had deceived them and brought them there to have them killed and defeated. They were telling things as they saw them in the flesh but they refused to see them by faith in My promises to them. I called that evil. Do not speak stout against My Words. What I say is wrong is wrong no matter whether you call it “pro-choice” or “equality act.” These are fancy labels to deceive the naïve into sin as lawful, which it is not, it is lawlessness.

Depart from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. What is evil? A good indication is those things I call works of the flesh that you find in My servant Paul’s letter to the Galatians, “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21. And what is good? Well, a look at the fruit of the spirit which follow the works of the flesh in that same letter, “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” Galatians 5:22-26.

But actually it is not hard to find what pleases Me and what does not throughout Scripture, but I shared with My prophet Micah a good description, “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness (hesed – perfect love), and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8. And My servant Peter summed it up and then quotes Psalm 34, “To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. For, ‘The one who desires life, to love and see good days, must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. He must turn away from evil and do good. He must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears attend to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.’” 1 Peter 3:8-12.

It is time for you to begin anew to seek a life of good. It is time to forget what lies behind and run towards the high calling I have given you in Christ. “Live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and abominable idolatries.” 1 Peter 4:1-2. And what is My will for you in Christ Jesus? Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks. This will open a life of good. Never let go of My goodness until it manifests in your mortal bodies.

Now, I will tell you the secret of living a good life. It is really very simple but very profound and will fill your days and nights. And I tell you it all in one short line. I shared it with My servant David and now I share it with you, “those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.” Psalm 34:10.

There is your answer to a life filled with good things: “Seek the LORD.”

If you will spend your days and nights seeking Me you will want for no good thing. Seek and you shall find. When you seek Me with all your heart, you shall find Me right there with you. And My plans for you are shalom and not evil, to give you a future filled with good things.

Look to Me constantly. Keep your mind above (walk in faith and in the spirit), not on things of the earth (walk not in the fear and in the flesh), where you are seated with Christ at My right hand. Put on Christ and sing My Word in praise, thanksgiving, and spiritual songs. Seek My Face so I can shine it on you and you may be radiant. Lean not on your own understanding but on the true wisdom and understanding that comes from Words and My Spirit in you and on you.

“Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!” 1 Chronicles 16:10. David gave these lines as part of a song he composed for the singers he established before the Ark of the Covenant. Seeking Me brings good into your life, so seeking Me will give you joy and a happy, blessed life.

If you are seeking Me, you are constantly looking at Me, inquiring of Me, watching Me, “as the eyes of the servant are on his master, so our eyes too are on the LORD our God.” Why? You know that I am always up to something good and you want to be part of it. None is good but God alone, and if you are in Me, so are you. Seek Me and your life will lack no good thing because every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down out of Me. I am the source of all good.

I love you. Seek Me now while I can be found, call to Me while I am near. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of Salvation. Those who seek Me want for no good thing. If you want days filled with good the answer is simple: Seek Me. I reward those who seek Me. Hebrews 11:6.
