Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 2 Corinthians 3:16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Have you been asking for, longing for, and seeking a home where you belong and are loved, where there is oneness and understanding?
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon coming down upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing—life forever. Psalm 133:1-3.
Where is that place of perfect protection, direction, joy, peace and love? Where is that precious oil anointing your head, coming down from the High Priest over the entire body.
Where is that mountain of revelation and transfiguration? Where is Mt. Zion and the church of the first born?
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:5-6.
I have planned that home for you from the foundation of the world. I am your home.
Lord (Adonai), You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psalm 90:1-2.
You have found it in Me. Jesus prepared it for you. And He gave you the directions to get there.
Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:1-6.
It is My doing that I have put you in Christ and He has released you from all your sins, made peace between us by the blood of His Cross, and poured My Spirit into your heart so that you dwell in My house forever. He is your good Shepherd that leads you home into My house now and forever. And how does He shepherd you, lead you, guide you and perfect you? By the gift of the Holy Spirit in you and on you forever. The Holy Spirit makes Me you home and makes you My home.
And where is the place on earth where all are one in Me and one another? It is the church, the body of Christ in the world, of which each born again believer is a member. The church in all her glorious splendor where you as living stones are being built upon the corner stone into My house, My family, as one in Heaven and on earth.
The night of the Last Supper, Jesus told His disciples He was going to prepare a place for you and once it was prepared, He would come to receive you to Himself that you would be where He is. Of what was He speaking? During His sojourn on earth He told you He had nowhere to lay His head—His home was not the world though He was in the world, He was not of the world, the world is hostile to My Word. But He was doing a work which He finished, which was your salvation, resurrection, and hope of glory, and what He brought forth became your home on earth and in Heaven so that even now you are where He is, seated at My right hand. Jesus raised up the Church upon the earth and now both you and He have somewhere upon earth to lay your head, that is, to call home, which was not born until He died and I raised Him and seated Him at My right hand and you there with Him.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:18-23.
Now wherever you are on earth you are at home in Me. You have found your dwelling place in the secret place and I have put you in that place, it is in Christ. In Him, I am your dwelling place, your home, your safe harbor, your prosperity, your healing, your joy, and your delight.
I make a home for the lonely and lead out the prisoners to prosperity, only the rebellious dwell in a parched land. Psalm 68:6.
Who are the rebellious? The ones who strive against, grieve, quench, and resist the Holy Spirit.
You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did. Which one of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? They killed those who had previously announced the coming of the Righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become; you who received the law as ordained by angels, and yet did not keep it.” Acts 7:51-53.
Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, under inspiration of the Spirit, spoke those words to the unbelieving Jews, and gnashing their teeth at him the began to throw stones at him. Acts 7:54. But Stephen, being FULL of the Holy Spirit gazed intently into Heaven and saw My glory and Jesus standing at My right hand.
Why could he see into the Kingdom of Heaven upon the earth? It was his home. And you will note, he spoke to Jesus and Jesus did as he asked. He received his spirit since he prayed to go home to the higher realm immediately and He did not hold the sin against those there. And you know who was there very much approving of stoning Stephen? Saul the Pharisee who Jesus appeared to later and who became the apostle Paul. When I am your home, your prayers are immediately addressed.
I am your home and you have full access to the Kingdom and all the blessings and provision there for through Jesus you have access in one Spirit to Me. So you are no longer strangers and aliens but you are fellow citizens with the saints and are of My household. And in Jesus you are being built together into My dwelling in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:18-19.
Jesus told you, and He only spoke My Words and did the works I showed Him, that if you love Me and keep My commandments there are results you can and should expect:
First, He will ask Me and give you another Helper that abides with you and in you forever. Second, He will disclose Himself to you in love. Third, I and Jesus will love you and we will come to you and make our abode with you. So here is the sequence, you show that you love Me by keeping My Words (which includes receiving Jesus as your Lord so that you are born again), I give you the Holy Spirit to abide in and on you, I disclose Jesus to you, and we come to you and make our abode with you.
I love you. You are not homeless. You are not orphans. I am your home and all the good things of My house are yours. And you are My home. You are never alone. No matter where you are, no matter where you travel or stay, you are always at home because I am always with you.
You have enclosed me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is too high, I cannot attain to it. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me. Psalm 139:5-10.
