For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. Colossians 1:13-16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Have you ever wondered why I made you? And even bigger, why did I make mankind in general? Have you ever asked Me about it? Call on Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. Jeremiah 33:3. Go to the source.
Well, let’s go back to the beginning of when I made you.
When I first formed you, I said, “Let Us make man (in Hebrew the word is אָדָם transliterated “adam,” that is the word for mankind in general, including men and women, it is from the word for blood, which in Hebrew is דָם transliterated as “dam,” later it became a proper masculine name) in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So I created man (adam) in My own image, in My image I created him (adam); male (in Hebrew letters “זָכָ֥ר” transliterated as “zakar”) and female (in Hebrew letters “נְקֵבָ֖ה” transliterated as “neqebah”) I created them. And I blessed them. And I said to them, “Bear much fruit and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:26-28. You see Me referring to “adam” as plural there, as I do of Myself. Let “Us.” My Son came out of My bosom. The only begotten, the first born of many brethren, of the Body. But hold to that thought before we get to that.
I made you like Me, My own kind. I purposely made you. You did not evolve from the flesh of fish, birds or beasts. You are not in the likeness of them. I give to each kind of seed its own body. For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish. 1 Corinthians 15:38-39. You see that in My revelation of creation in the first chapter of Genesis. It all goes back to the book of Genesis. I speak the end from the beginning. There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory. 1 Corinthians 15:40-41.
I made you to rule and reign with Me. Genesis 1:26; Romans 5:17, Revelation 22:5.
But this does not answer the question yet. This speaks to the mystery of how you are but not to the mystery of just who and why you are. And now I will reveal it to you. I did to Abraham for I preached the gospel to him ahead of time. Galatians 3:8. His life was a sign and a wonder for you; a teaching and a revelation of truth. Watch him carefully for he is a prophet. Genesis 20:7. “Listen to Me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the LORD: look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for he was but one when I called him, that I might bless him and multiply him.” Isaiah 51:1-2. Abraham saw the day of My Son and rejoiced, John 8:56, and to Isaiah also I revealed the glory of My Son. John 12:41. Abraham was but one when I called him. Keep that in mind too.
Let’s go deeper. I formed mankind (adam) as one being from the dust of the clay and breathed into adam the breath of life. Genesis 2:7. In My own image I created adam as male and female in one. Like Me, I am like a nursing mother but the strongest of fathers, I am compassionate but also, I work justice and vindication. I rule with a strong arm but also hold you to My bosom in My everlasting arms in comfort and love. Though I am spirit and not flesh, I speak of Myself as having the characteristics of both a mother and a father. Psalm 68:5, Isaiah 49:15, Isaiah 64:8; Isaiah 66:13; Matthew 6:9; John 20:17; 2 Corinthians 6:18. Mankind was one in body (adam), but then I saw it was not good for mankind to be alone as one, I put adam into a deep sleep and out of his side I pulled out the female and built up the ishshah (אִשָּׁ֔ה which means wife, bride, woman) and what was left was the male (אִישׁ ish, which means husband, bridegroom, man) from whom the ishshah had been taken. I made the ishshah to be the helper (in Hebrew, עֵזֶר, helper), the one by his side, And what did adam say? “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman (ishshah), because this one was taken out of Man (ish).” Genesis 2:23. For this reason a man (ish) shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife (ishshah); and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:24. Ish and ishshah—a bridegroom and his bride, a husband and his wife, the strong one and the helper, the provider and the fruit bearer.
Are you beginning to see something? For there is something much deeper here than the marriage covenant of man and wife in this world, though that also has to do with My Covenant with you which now is entered into through My Son. But let us go deeper for the treasure of why I made you. You will find the mystery of which I now speak all through the Bible but let Me sum it up for you as My Son by My Spirit revealed it to My apostle Paul. He understood this mystery better than anyone has before or since. But now let Me show it to you in all its glory, majesty, and mystery.
“He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Colossians 1:15-16.
I created you for Jesus. It is not good, I told you as I pulled the bride out of adam’s side, for man to be alone. He seeks a bride. And I, like Abraham for Isaac, sought a bride for My Son. A suitable one in His likeness, who like Rebekah for Isaac was of the kinsman of his father. I made you in My image and likeness and then reconciled you back to Me to be My children once again so that the church was formed from the opened side of My Son as He slept in mortal death. And just as I raised adam from his sleep to find his bride, so I raised My Son from the dead to find His bride, the glorious church without spot or wrinkle, for He was raised as the glorious head of His body the church, and you were raised with Him as His bride.
“For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.” Ephesians 5:23-24. The stronger one (Father in Hebrew is אב which in pictograms and meaning of the letters means the strong one (א aleph, the sacrificial ox) of the house (ב bet), the one who sacrifices for the other) and the weaker one (mother in Hebrew is אם, meaning the one strong in spirit or the one setting the spiritual tone of the home (ם mem sofit (at the end of a word, otherwise מ), the living water of the Spirit), make up the body. The husband is the head of the wife but the wife is the fruitful one as his helper. There is no fruit without the bride for without her the husband is but one. Paul wrote, “Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.” Romans 7:4. And again, “For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:2-3.
And Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians continues with the mystery of your creation, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because we are members of His body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.” Ephesians 5:25-32.
I made you to be My helper, the bride of My Son, for in Him there is no male or female all are one in Christ. In Heaven you are not given in marriage as in earthly terms, you live like the angels, but you are all the bride of My Son. When you join with Him, you become One spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17. “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to promise.” Galatians 3:26-29. Have you noted that I liken the Kingdom of Heaven to a King that gave a marriage feast for His Son and invited everyone to the wedding banquet? But many would not come and some came not clothed in Christ. And others came who did not have their lamps lit (born again with their spirit lit by the anointing oil). And these could not stay or even enter.
And what do I tell you in the book of Revelation about the saved in Heaven? They are at the marriage feast of the Lamb! ‘“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride (wife) has made herself ready.’ It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the holy ones. Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.” Revelation 19:6-9. For what do I tell you? “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14. You have washed your robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14. Ready for the marriage feast with your lamps lit and burning ready. The anointing, the Christ, the Messiah, Christ in you, your hope of glory.
Now let us go back to Abraham for a moment and consider his life. I called him when he was but one to follow Me so I could bless him and make him a blessing to every family on earth. I was seeking a line from which I could bring My Son into the earth according to the flesh to find Him a bride. Abraham was seeking a son. And I gave Abraham a son of the promise by the freeborn woman and not the slave, from Zion and not Sinai—through Isaac shall your descendants be called. And I told Abraham to take his beloved son, his only son, and offer him to Me as a burnt offering as I would do with My Son. For I showed Abraham all I would do. And he looked to the day when I myself would provide the lamb for the burnt offering and received Isaac back as one risen from the dead as a type and shadow of the One to come. Hebrews 11:17-19.
Abraham sought a bride for his beloved son from among his own kinsmen and I have done the same, those who have been born again in Him as My children, the believers, My family that has My Name. “For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, “I will proclaim Your name to My brethren, in the midst of the congregation I will sing Your praise.” And again, “I will put My trust in Him.” And again, “Behold, I and the children whom God has given Me.” Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. For assuredly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the seed of Abraham. Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted. Hebrews 2:11-19.
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.” John 1:1-3. “
Like a bride adorned for her husband, bedecked with her jewels and in her embroidered garments, with threads of gold. “The King’s daughter is all glorious within; her clothing is interwoven with gold (the righteousness of God in Christ). She will be led to the King in embroidered work; the virgins, her companions who follow her, will be brought to You. They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing; they will enter into the King’s palace. In place of your fathers will be your sons; You shall make them princes in all the earth. I will cause Your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the peoples will give You thanks forever and ever.” Psalm 45:13-17.
“I will rejoice greatly in the LORD; My soul will exult in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation (Yeshuah), He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness. As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10.
So what is your part in life? To prepare yourself for the wedding feast like Esther prepared herself for the king. Wash your robes and make them white in the blood of the Lamb, soak in the anointing oil, walk in the good deeds I have prepared for you in advance (the embroidered work of your garment), and wash each day in the water of the Word. And be faithful to your husband, like the Proverbs 31 wife. And this applies to male and female for you are all one in Christ and in Me. I am One in three and three in One. And you are One in Me as the bride of My Son, one body with Him as your head.
You cannot pull out of your source like the first ish and ishshah tried to do. He kept the name Adam and she Eve as mother of all the living but disconnected to their source they withered and died, unfruitful and estranged from the land of the living. Instead of the Garden of Eden, they entered a dry and cursed earth. But in My Son, you can turn your waste places into Eden, into the marriage feast of the Lamb.
I love you. Why did I create you? I created you for Jesus. It is not good for man to be alone or for Me either. I was seeking a bride for My Son from among My own family that would be a faithful and beloved spouse for My Son. And like Abraham’s servant, I found one drawing water at the well, at the springs of Yeshuah. Isaiah 12, Genesis 24:1-27. Read again the story of the Samaritan woman at the well and you will understand what I am telling you. John 4. You will see. He is asking you to draw living water and if you knew My gift, you would ask Him for a drink. And that is how I identify the bride for My Son. “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.” Revelation 22:17.
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:37-39.
