Now the word of the LORD came to me saying, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you.” Jeremiah 1:4-5.

Listen to me, O islands, and pay attention, you peoples from afar. The LORD called me from the womb; from the body of my mother He named me. Isaiah 49:1.

God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles. Galatians 1:15-16.

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart and made you holy. I called you by name and I called you also by My Name, you are Mine.

David was fascinated by My plans for each life, especially as his life unfolded. He sang, “For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my embryo; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them.” Psalm 139:13-16. I have made everything beautiful in its time. I have also set eternity in each person’s heart. Ecclesiastes 3:11. And the plans I have for you span eternity, you will not find out the extent of the work which I have done from the beginning even to the end of your life on this earth and through all eternity, it just keeps unfolding. But I know. And one day you too will know, just as you are known. “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:12-13. I am love. You were made by love, you live in love, you die in love, and you are with love and in love for all eternity. It is a wonderful way and place to be. All good things come from Love.

“And on this mountain, He will swallow up the covering, which is over all peoples, even the veil which is stretched over all nations.” Isaiah 25:7.

If you really seek Me with all your heart and want My plans for your life, I will lift the veil and give you a glimpse of what I have planned for your life. I did that for Paul on the road to Damascus. I did it for Isaiah as he listened to My Word. I did it for Joseph, the son of Jacob, in dreams, and I did the same for another Joseph many years later who was the spouse of My precious Mary. I sent My angel Gabriel to lift the veil for Mary, and the same for Zechariah. To Daniel I gave dreams, visions, and the messenger Gabriel to lift the veil for him. With Abraham and Moses, I talked as one does between friends. They knew Me well by faith and by My voice. With Ezekiel, I gave him extraordinary visions, I opened the heavens to him, angels transported him, he saw visions of dry bones and raised them in the Spirit to a mighty army. He saw and watched a temple being measured that was not of this world. I gave him things to do before the people that were visuals to them of what was going on in their lives as warnings and prophetic revelation. I sent him to change hearts and bring a rebellious people back to Me. In worldly terms, he was  not successful for the people’s hearts did not change as they did at Jonah’s preaching in Nineveh, but My own people he did not convince. But with Me, he was a great success. He spoke the words I gave him and did the things I showed him. And he appreciated Me as I did him. Isaiah too felt he had not been successful in his mission, but he was with Me. His reward was from Me. And what he did not know was that his words would still be read today and give revelation to a people not yet born at his time. And My Son quoted Isaiah more than any other prophet and even read His mission statement from the scroll of Isaiah.

And now I speak to YOU, for you are under the New Covenant sealed by the blood of My Son, where I have put My law within you and on your heart, I have written it; and I am your God, and you are My people. And as I told My prophet Jeremiah, under this New Covenant, “They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:33-34.

And how do I speak to you now? Through My Son and by My Spirit within your spirit, for whenever a person turns to Jesus as Lord, the veil is taken away. “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:16-17.

Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. But you must understand that what I say to you will always match up with My written Word. And you must seek two or three witnesses of Scripture to be sure what you heard is from Me. For if you are not discerning even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. 2 Corinthians 11:15. So do not just believe every word you hear from a so-called “prophet.” Always check it out with My Words as they are written in the Bible. I am My Word and I will never contradict it. My Word is established forever in Heaven and that is eternal. “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22.

Always remember, as David did, that you are My workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which I prepared beforehand so that you would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10. And that was My plan from the start. I blessed you to bear much fruit and to take dominion of the works of My hands. The highest heavens are Mine, but I gave the earth to the children of men.

And My plans for you are good plans, plans for your shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Your life is beautiful in its time. And for each of you it is the most beautiful life ever lived for each of you are uniquely Mine. I crafted you in a way like no one else before or after you. You matter. Do not try to be another, be the one I made you to be for, like Jesus, your name is wonderful. My call is for all, but My eyes are on YOU.

My eyes roam to and fro across the earth looking for those whose hearts are turned towards Me. Like Jeremiah. When My Words were found he devoured them, they became the delight and joy of his heart. But let him tell you what happened, “Your words were found and I devoured them, and Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; for I have been called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts. I did not sit in the circle of merrymakers, nor did I exult. Because of Your hand upon me I sat alone, for You filled me with indignation.” Jeremiah 15:16-17. Being a prophet among a rebellious and sinful people who have no interest in My Word can make you sit alone. Not all people are open to prophetic utterance as Jehoshaphat and his people were. Remember what he said to the people? “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.” 2 Chronicles 20:20.

I have called you to be a prophet. Moses knew My heart and he prayed, “Would that all the LORD’s people were prophets, that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!” Numbers 11:29. It would have made Moses’ life much easier if the people had prophesied with him instead of rebelling against My Words. Paul had the same desire as Moses, “Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit, he speaks mysteries. But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation. One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church. Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy.” 1 Corinthians 14:1-5.

I told Jeremiah that I had appointed him to be a prophet to the nations. And what did he respond? The same many of you would, he felt inadequate and inexperienced for so great an assignment. Listen to his words on it, “Then I said, “Alas, Lord (אֲדֹנָי) LORD (יְהוִֹה)! Behold, I do not know how to speak, because I am a youth.” But the LORD said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ because everywhere I send you, you shall go, and all that I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you,” declares the LORD. Then the LORD stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me, “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.” Jeremiah 1:6-9. That makes it simple, everywhere I send you, go. And everything I tell you to say, speak. And I shall be well pleased. It does not matter if people receive it well or poorly. Do not be afraid. As I was with Moses, My prophet, so I shall be with you. Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for I, the LORD your God, am with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9.

Will you respond like Isaiah, Samuel, and Mary to My call on your life? “Behold, here am I, send me.” Isaiah 6:8. “Speak LORD, your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3:10. “Behold, the bond servant of the Lord, may it be done to me according to Your Word.” Luke 1:38. Or like whenever I would call Abraham, “Abraham!” And he would say, “Here I am.” Genesis 22:1-3. And immediately do whatever I told him or go where I showed him. Or best of all, like Jesus, “Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is prescribed for Me. I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within My heart.” Psalm 40:7-8; Hebrews 10:5-10.

I love you. I have called you all to be My witnesses—to be My prophets—in your homes, your workplaces, your schools, your city, your state, your country, and on to the nations. Edify, exhort, and comfort your families, your friends, your co-workers, and your leaders. Do not fear, I am with you and when I am with you who can be against you? And I will tell you the answer: No one. Eternal life always wins, for even if you die, you live. Absent from the body, present with Me is how it is for all believers. And as Paul told you, and he had seen the Kingdom of Heaven, to be with Me is the far better thing, but remaining in the world gives you a chance to be My prophet and receive a very great reward upon your arrival home with Me. Make the most of every opportunity I give you.

Now the word of the LORD came to me saying, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you.” Jeremiah 1:4-5.
