For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. Hebrews 10:14.

My Beloved was knocking: “Open to Me, my sister, my darling, My dove, my perfect one!” Song of Songs 5:2.

Let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief corner stone. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:10-12.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Happy are those whose sins are forgiven; whose faults are taken away! And that is you who believe. Jesus has borne your sins, your faults and your failures to obey My Words and He took care of all that for you. He agreed with Me that I could punish Him as the scapegoat for all your faults. And He suffered greatly for you so that you are cleared. There is no cause for weeping here but rejoicing. So when you fall through weakness or straight momentary stubbornness even though your heart desires to serve Me, confess to Me your failure, thank Me for forgiving you already in My Son, and, with a smile at Me who loves you so, move forward. Let us celebrate together your redemption and justification that I have worked for you in My Son. I have done great things for you and holy is My Name.

I GAVE YOU JESUS SO THAT YOU COULD BE PERFECT.

That may surprise you, but that I tell you that many times. “And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—if indeed you continue in faith, firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven.” Colossians 21-23. “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6. “After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10. “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24. “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1:24-25. “The God who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect?” Psalm 18:32. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.” Ephesians 1:3-4.

Now, once you know that you are blameless before Me, we can go forward. Have you not read what My apostle Paul tells you by inspiration of My Spirit, “but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.” Philippians 3:13-16.

Lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles you and run with endurance the race that is set before you, fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2. And you are not running alone but through, with and in Jesus. But you must go forward and be ready to run to your high calling in Christ. “By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.” 1 John 4:9. Know as of first importance, that Christ died for your sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:2-3. He is the propitiation for your sins. 1 John 4:10. And you can do all things in Him. He strengthens you. My grace is sufficient for you, for in your weakness My power reaches perfection.

Do you not yet understand? Jesus asked that of His disciples when He was with them according to the flesh. They had seen Him multiply bread for crowds but still worried over it when they forgot to bring enough bread along on the journeys. They had trouble casting demons out though He had given them the authority to do so. He called them an unbelieving, perverse lot at one point. He asked them where their faith was in the storm on the sea. They had been with Him three years and still asked to see Me and did not know in seeing Him they were seeing Me. And He had told them He would be crucified and rise on the third day and they were amazed when I raised Him and had lost all hope in Him being the Messiah. Hard hearted. They failed to understand the greatness, the goodness, the power, and My presence, the Glory come into your land. When the Son of Man returns will He find any faith on the earth?

Now, I want to ask you a question. Do you understand?

Are you content to just read about the wonders done by Jesus, Peter, Paul, John, and so many others in both the New and Old Testaments, and yet never work the greater works yourself? John 14:12. Paul said he proved himself to be My apostle, My servant, by the works that took place through his hands at the Name of My Son. Do you remember what Jesus told all you who would believe in Him the night before He died to make you perfect? “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14. This is a promise to all who believe. And He told more as He ascended back to Heaven, “These attesting miracles will accompany those who have believed in My name, they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

It is all about His Name. The one who does the greater works asks Him in His Name and He does them through you so the I may be glorified in Him and also He tells you I am glorified when you abide in Jesus and bear much fruit. And for attesting miracles to accompany you, you must believe in His Name. And first He tells you to ask Him in His Name and He will do it. But He also tells you more, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father. In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father.” John 16:23-28.

You ask Me in His Name. He is the High Priest of your confession (homologia—speaking the same, that is, in agreement with My Words) and I watch over My Word to perform it.

And this is My commandment: that you believe in the Name of My Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded you. 1 John 3:23.

Everything has to do with faith in the Name. Call on His Name and you will be saved. “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the Name which is above every name, so that at the Name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-11.

And He inherited that Name that I bestowed on Him. “When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.” Hebrews 1:3-4. He is the radiance of My glory and the exact representation of My nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. Hebrews 1:2.

Paul did all his mighty deeds in the Name of My Son. Remember when he cast the demon out of the slave girl? “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment. Acts 16:18. And what did he tell you? “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” Colossians 3:17.

And remember Peter and John at the Beautiful Gate of the temple where they healed the man lame from birth who sat there begging each day? Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!” And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God; and they were taking note of him as being the one who used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg alms, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.” Acts 3:5-10. And what did Peter tell the amazed crowd of how the healing had taken place? That it had been done through faith in the Name of Jesus, the Prince of life, the one whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which they were witnesses. “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:15-16.

The name denotes the person that has it. And here it is a name bestowed by Me as the Name above every other name in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth. He and I are one. I have given Him My Name. And He puts My Name on you.

Do you have faith in His Name? When you call His Name, He comes, and when He comes, things begin to happen beyond all you can ask or imagine. For with Him, comes the Holy Spirit, and with the Holy Spirit and Jesus, I come too. I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself, not counting your trespasses against you but putting them on all Jesus and I gave you His Name. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12.

In Jesus I made you perfect and when you believe in His Name you will do the greater works in His Name, by His Name, and calling upon His Name. It all has to do with the Name—salvation, healing, shalom, and eternal life.

And when the first community of believers in the Name of My Son joined united in prayer what did they pray? “Grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy Son Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:29-31. Does our room shake when you pray? Time to do the greater works. Faith in the Name. And faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word about Christ.

I love you. Remember, you are perfect, precious, and holy in My sight in Jesus, I honor you and I love you. Now, stop looking back, stop looking down, and start looking up to Jesus.
