If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. John 12:26.

And Jesus said unto them, “Why is it that you were seeking me? Did you not know that in the things of My Father it behooves Me to be?” Luke 2:49.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

If you follow Jesus, you will be where He is, and if you serve Him you serve Me, just as He did while in the flesh on earth, and I will honor you just as I do Him. John 12:26. Where I am, there My servant will be also.

Where am I? For the answer, go to My Word, as you should do for every question you have. Let Me take you to Mt. Horeb (Sinai), where Moses heard from Me, where the Israelites heard from Me, and where Elijah will now hear from Me. Elijah had just had a tremendous victory over the stronghold of Baal in Israel and the people were declaring Me as their one true God. But when Jezebel threatened to kill him for what he had done, he fled to the desert, prayed to die and end it all, and laid down under a broom tree and slept. I woke him, fed him, and told him to go to Mt. Horeb to hear from Me. He walked forty days and forty nights and arrived at Mt. Horeb.

“Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He said, “I have been very zealous for the LORD, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars and killed Your prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.” So He said, “Go forth and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a sound of a still (demamah: whisper) small voice. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a voice came to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” 1 Kings 19:9-13.

I am in the still small voice within your heart. Do not seek for Me in spectacular signs and wonders, though I am there also and you will do these if you speak My Words and go where I show you and lead you to go by My Spirit in you and on you, as Elijah did. To His own disciples, Jesus explained everything in private while He spoke to the crowds only in parables. You need to pull aside, go to a mountain top so to speak where you see things in the bigger view where Jesus is seated at My right hand and you are there with Him in the Spirit even now, and see what I have to say to you. Habakkuk told you this: “I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply upon my reproof. Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay. Behold, as for the proud one, his soul is not right within him; but the righteous will live by faith.” Habakkuk 2:1-4.

The still small voice. Be still and know that I am God. Jesus came and preached peace to those who were far away and peace to those who were near. He Himself is your peace. “And a bruised reed He will not break and a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish. He will faithfully bring forth justice.” Isaiah 42:3. “He will not quarrel, nor cry out; nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. A battered reed He will not break off, and a smoldering wick He will not put out, until He leads justice to victory. And in His name the nations will hope.” Matthew 12:19-21.

Where Jesus is, His followers will be, His servants will be. Where is He? He told you when He was just twelve years old, “Why is it that you were seeking me? Did you not know that in the things of My Father it behooves Me to be?” Luke 2:49. He is busy about My business. And what is that? I sent Him to seek and save the lost, to reconcile all people to Me, and He breathed the Holy Spirit into you and sent you as I sent Him. Like Him, I have made you My ambassadors of reconciliation.

Jesus appointed twelve followers as apostles, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach. Mark 3:13. And you will note once I talked in private to Elijah, I sent him forth to be about My business and did not permit him to stay hiding in fear and depression, wanting to die because of the threatening behavior of Jezebel. I said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus, and when you have arrived, you shall anoint Hazael king over Aram; and Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. It shall come about, the one who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall put to death, and the one who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall put to death. Yet I will leave 7,000 in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him.” 1 Kings 19:15-18. So he departed from there to go about My affairs.

And where do you find Jesus? Listen to Him: “The Spirit of the Lord LORD is upon Me because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19. And how did He do this? “Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.” Matthew 4:23. And what did the apostles and new believers keep doing after Jesus returned to Me? “And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.” Acts 5:42.

I  anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power, and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for I was with Him. Acts 10:38. That is where He is and I was with Him. That is where you should be too—going about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil in His Name and as His Body. The Body is always where the Head is. So where He is you must be if you are in your place in the Body.

And where else will you be with Him? He told you, “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:20. Do not neglect to assemble together as the faithful, “Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:19-25.

I love you. Where I am there will My servant be. And I AM right there with you to serve you.

And the name of the city from that day shall be, “The LORD is there (YHWH Shammah). Ezekiel 48:35.
