“For My hand made all these things, so all these things came into being,” declares the LORD. “But I will look to this one, at one who is humble and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at My Word.” Isaiah 66:2.
Let this mind be in you that is also in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5.
We have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
People share confidences with people who are like-minded. If someone is not like-minded with you, you have to be careful what you express to them or they will become angry and try to refute you. I look for people who are like-minded with Me to share My confidences with. My eyes roam to and fro across the earth looking for those whose hearts are fully turned towards Me. In other words, I look for those who are like-minded. For it is in the heart that one believes and the mouth speaks what fills the heart.
Let this mind be in you: the mind of Christ. Spiritually minded you can hear from the Spirit. To the worldly minded the things of the Spirit are foolish, they will argue with them and rebel against them. “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever.” 1 John 2:15-17. Hardened hearts are not receptive hearts to My Word. But you who are in Christ should not be of the world though you are in the world, for I have taken out your stony heart and given you a living heart in which I have poured My love by the gift of My Holy Spirit. Now you have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from Me, so that you may know the things freely given to you by Me in Christ. You also can now speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13.
But a worldly, natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. But the one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is discerned by no one. For who has known My mind that he will instruct Me? But you have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16.
I reveal things to you through the Holy Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even My innermost depths. For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also My thoughts no one knows, except My Spirit. And to those who have hearts towards Me I give My Spirit. Acts 2:38; Acts 5:32 (“And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”).
How do you have the mind of Christ? That is, of the anointing, which is the unction of the Holy Spirit. Jesus proclaimed that the Spirit of the Lord LORD was upon Him for I had anointed Him. You must be transformed to a new mind-set by the renewal of your worldly mind to the truth of My Word. You have to reprogram, so to speak, the way you think—that is, the way you perceive and process things—by My Word. Fill your heart with My Words and My Words become your worlds and your words become My words. We become like-minded. And before a word is on My tongue, you know the whole of it (I only need say one or two words and you know exactly what I am referring to in Scripture and you follow the train of it), and before a word is on your tongue, I know the whole of it. You have become a mature child of Mine that I can share My confidences, My dreams, My secrets, and My plans with and you can share yours with Me, but the interesting thing is our dreams, secrets, and plans become more and more the same. We are like-minded.
I seek those who are like-minded with Me for with them I can share all that is in My heart and know I can trust them with it. Samson shared all that was in his heart with Delilah and she used it to betray and destroy him. Judges 16:15-21. She was not like-minded with him and you cannot share your heart with one who is not like-minded. How can two walk together unless they agree? If others will not let you share My Word with them, shake the dust from your feet and leave them for you cannot yoke yourself with those whose hearts are hard to My Word. They will betray and destroy you. Just as the Pharisees did to Jesus. They were not like-minded. They did not have the mind of Christ, which is the mind set on My Words and My Words are spirit and life, My Words are anointed and they will anoint you. Spirit begets spirit and flesh begets flesh. You choose the thoughts you want to think upon and they will produce in like kind.
Those who are like-minded with Me, that is, in tune with My thoughts, wait for what I will say each morning with the excitement of the sentinel waiting for the dawn. He watches with expectation for the appearance of the sun as it just begins to reveal its light and then suddenly begins to rise from behind the hills in full splendor. They cry out the good news of a new day dawned! So to your soul waits for My Word of power that lights the next part of your path with Me.
Wait on My Word more than the sentinel waits for the dawn. It will rise in you as surely as the sun rises every morning. But like the watchman at his post, you must be watching. But wait with anticipation, with holy joy, and when it comes you tremble with excitement at what I am saying to you. You understand. “For My hand made all these things, so all these things came into being,” declares the LORD. “But I will look to this one, at one who is humble and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at My word.” Isaiah 66:2.
Be careful what you are letting in your heart, guard your heart with all diligence for from it flow the issues of life, and you want what is flowing from your heart to be rivers of living water pouring into you from My throne of grace through My Spirit within you. You know a tree by its fruit, and that is how all know what is in your heart, by the fruit of your lips and the fruit of your works. The fruit of your lips is produced by what is rooted in your heart. And that is how I know who is like-minded with Me too. I look at the heart.
Spend all your days in My gaze, in My grace, in My love. If you keep putting off to spend time with Me or to give your heart to Me until tomorrow when you have more time, then live today as if it were tomorrow. Live today, do not wait for tomorrow to live the life you were born to live. Face things now and get them done. There are things that I want to share with you but if your hearts are not ready, you cannot bear them now.
If you keep My Word as your delight, trouble and anguish of heart cannot reside long with you. Psalm 119:143. They may come upon you, but they shall not harm you or remain with you. Many are the trouble so the righteous but I deliver them out of them all. Psalm 34:19. No weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue raised against you, you shall prove false. Isaiah 54:17. Great peace have those who keep their minds on Me, who rest in Me, for I am faithful. Isaiah 26:3-4.
I love you. Let the mind of Christ be in you. Do not be conformed to this world, to the worldly minded, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind in My Word so that you think My thoughts, speak My Words for the moment, and do My works that save those to whom I send you or whom I send to you. Jesus is the Head of the church and you are His body, so you have His mind in you, for the body has the mind of the Head. The Head directs the body. The body follows the Head. You are Head strong in the best sense of that word.
