Now it shall be, if you diligently hear and obey the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.  All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you hear and obey the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 28:1-2.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

What are you waiting for? What are you looking for? What are you living for?

My servant Paul wrote: “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2: 20. The righteous shall live by faith. Faith in what? Look again what Paul wrote. “I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.” And He makes you more than conquerors. How? Same answer: “But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39. By knowing My love for you as expressed in Christ Jesus. And that is how you live. As an overcomer, as more than a conqueror, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

What are you waiting for? The second coming of Christ. “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23. “So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.” Hebrews 9:28.

What are you looking for? Jesus asked this question of John and Andrew when they first heard of him from John the Baptist, and do you remember their answer? They were looking for where Jesus stayed. He told them to come and see, and they spent the rest of the day with Him. And the result? They were convinced He was the promised Messiah and they spent the rest of their lives and now eternity with Him.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and always be looking for Him. As Jesus ascended to the Kingdom after spending forty days with His followers after I raised Him from the dead, His followers just kept staring up at the sky trying to catch another glimpse of Him. But what did the angels tell them? “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the heavens? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11.

“My eyes are continually toward the Lord, for He will pluck my feet out of the net.” Psalm 25:15.

Jesus told you to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven. According to My promise you are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:13.

Always be looking to see what you can loose on earth that is loosed there and bind on earth that is bound there. Be actively seeking to manifest My Kingdom in the earth in healings, miracles, signs and wonderful works of love, provision and increase. Bring days of Heaven to the earth.

What are you living for? As His bride the Church, you are living to hasten His coming and the triumph of the Kingdom. Therefore, be holy in conduct and godliness, winning souls for the Kingdom, looking for and hastening the coming of My day, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to My promise you are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless,.” 2 Peter 3:11-14. Live for what you look for. And He is pure.

Take a lesson from the parable of the wise and foolish virgins waiting for the arrival of the bridegroom to enter the wedding feast and be ready to meet Him with lighted lamps. Don’t be caught off guard, a wise servant is busy about his master’s affairs, that is, with what the master entrusted to his charge, when the master returns.

Live to bless and be blessed. Live to be blessed and to bless. I open My hand and you are filled with good things. Psalm 104:27-28. Be My hands. Lay your hands on the sick, you who believe in the Name of My Son, so they can recover. Reach out and be generous with those in need. Give towards the work of the ministry. Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me to the earth. Evil does not come from Me. “If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you.” Isaiah 54:15.

If evil comes into your life, it is not from Me and you should not receive it and allow it entrance. “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will prove false. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness and vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 54:17.

Ask, seek, knock—that describes waiting (ask), looking (seek) and living (knock to enter).

Do you long for My coming? When you will be caught up in the clouds to be with Me forever? What a beautiful story awaits you that we will write together. But why wait? Why not start the story NOW? It is the kind of story that ends happily ever after. “Only goodness and lovingkindness pursue me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” For length of days that never end.

Start a Deuteronomy 28:1-14 story for your life—the BLESSED life. A life overwhelmed with blessings that chase you down and overtake you. This life is available to all. If that is not describing the life you are living now, you may be interested to find out how to have it, and it is guaranteed.

The answer, of course, is in My Word. The answer to everything is in My Word so you would do well to read My Word and to consult My Word first before you do anything. So find the secret to the blessed life  in My Word, and it is not really a secret for I tell you this many times in the Bible. But turn to Deuteronomy 28 and begin to explore.

“NOW IT SHALL BE,” please note there is no question here. It shall be now, so let us go on.

If YOU diligently (“with all diligence guard you heart”) will hear and obey (in Hebrew “shama” which is translated both as hear and as obey, it denotes attentive hearing that takes the words to heart and lives them), the LORD your God, being careful (“be careful how you walk, not as foolish but as wise people”) to do all His commandments which I command you today (“if today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts” for “today is the day of salvation”), the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. ALL these blessing will come upon you and overtake (overwhelm) you if you listen to and obey the LORD you God (“if you are willing and obey you shall have the best of the land”). Deuteronomy 28:1-2.

And we are back to My Word again. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.” John 1:1-4. My Words are spirit and life. My Words make things and they make things happen.

If you want a blessed life, you have to speak a blessed life. Your words over yourself, your children, your spouse, your siblings, your friends, your enemies—must all be words of blessing. Bless those who persecute you and do not curse them. Cursing goes like oil into your bones and rots them, but good news, blessed news, makes healthy bones. There is no wonder that David sang, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all my being (all your parts inside and out) bless His holy name.” Do not curse your bodies or your mind, bless them and lead them in blessing Me. Lead all creation in blessing Me. And thank Me for blessing you.

Look at your life and don’t regret and curse it, instead thank Me for a successful journey. 3 John 1:2.

If you are complaining and grumbling, you will not have a blessed life. Above all, you have to watch what you are thinking on and what you are saying to get the blessed results you want. I do not speak what I see, I speak what I want to see and it comes to pass. Light be! Dry land appear! Lazarus come forth!

While Gideon was still acting like a coward and complaining and bemoaning, I called him what I wanted him to be, and what in My eyes he was, a champion with the strength of an army—a hero. And as I called him that he finally spoke it with Me and became just what I had blessed him to be. Imitate Me as My dear children and speak the blessing into being in your life. Release it. Death and life, cursing and blessing, are in the hand of your tongue. You will eat the fruit of your lips. Make it increase. Make the fruit of the Holy Spirit what your lips produce and you will have a beautiful, blessed, fruitful life.

Your words matter more than you realize or you would not say many of the things you say during the day. This is a very serious matter. It is life and death. It is whether you and your house will experience blessing or not. I have blessed you from the start, I want to bless, but it is up to you whether you receive and release that blessing or not. Jesus told His followers to speak a shalom blessing on the home they stayed in on their journey, “Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’ If a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.” And whether you receive or not all has to do with what you have in your heart and speak with your mouth. You can master this with the help of My grace and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, but you have to be willing to obey by getting very strict with yourself about your words and your thoughts. Stop the complaining the minute you start. Stop the accusing, the blame, the gossip. Stop talking the problem and instead praise that I am taking care of it and you will come out triumphant. Be careful what you permit to go out of your mouth, for whatever you say will produce in kind.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 tells you how to have the blessed life you are meant to live. And this can be your life and the life of your nation if you keep My Words. I envisioned that for the Israelites when I brought them out of Egypt—that they would be My own special treasure and every one of them would know Me and keep My Word as My royal priesthood and a light to the nations. But that did not happen, instead they complained and grumbled constantly. It is dangerous to do that for their own words kept them out of the Promised Land I had prepared for them. But I am still looking for those who will keep My Word and be My own special treasure though all the earth is Mine.

“Now it shall be, if you diligently hear and obey the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the LORD your God: Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you. The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully, and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.” Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

I love you. What are you waiting for? What are you looking for? What are you living for? One Word can sum it all up for everything is summed up in Him: Jesus. The only name given among men by which you must be saved. In Him, all My magnificent promises are “yes” to you. He redeemed you from the curse of the law and gave you the BLESSING.
