That in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. Ephesians 4:22-24.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Jesus said “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He cleans (kathaírō – make clean by purging (removing undesirable elements); hence, pruned (purged); eliminating what is fruitless by purifying (making unmixed)) it so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean (katharós clean “without admixture”; what is separated (purged), hence “clean” (pure) because unmixed (without undesirable elements); (figuratively) spiritually clean, purged (purified by God), i.e. free from the contaminating (soiling) influences of sin) because of the Word which I have spoken to you.” John 15:1-3. Jesus told His disciples that they were already clean because of the Word He had spoken to them. John 15:3. And He then told them that if they remained (lived, continued, abided) in the Word they would bear much fruit and glorify Me in their lives. Jesus only spoke My Words because He knew they had eternal life in them; and He is My Word become flesh, so I speak My Word to you through My Son. And what does that Word do? It cleans you. Purges and washes you of all the soil of sin so that your mind is renewed.
Brain washed. Cleansed, renewed, and anointed to go forward to newness of life and bear much fruit. “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17. Brain washed of a mind set on dead, idle, and evil works and going forward with a mind set above to do living, fruitful, and good works. “That in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” Ephesians 4:22-24. Brain washed to leave your old priorities to go on to higher ones. “But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Philippians 3:7-8. Brain washed to go forward with no hindrances. “Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14.
I cleanse you from unrighteousness and sin with the blood of My Son, I wash and renew your mind with the water of My Word. “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.” Ephesians 5:25-27. Do you see? All who are in the Church have already taken Jesus as Lord and been redeemed by His Blood, He then washes your mind clean of dead works by the water of the Word. I revealed it to my prophet Ezekiel, talking to My people, “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.” Ezekiel 36:25-27.
You are saved by the blood of My Son but to overcome the evil one in life so that you walk in your high calling with which I have called you in Him, you also need the Word of your testimony. “And they overcame him [the devil] because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony Revelation 12:11. You will not live the life that is life indeed without cleansing and renewing your mind with My Word. “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2.
“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:1-4. And continue on, “But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him.” Colossians 3:8-10.
Do you see? It all goes back again to the Spirit, the water, and the Blood. First, when you take Jesus as your Lord you are freed from all your sins and lawless deeds by the Blood of My Son. The sin offering, the guilt offering, the peace offering, and so much more are fulfilled in Him to make you perfect and reconcile you to Me, to form you anew in My image and likeness to take your dominion authority. But then to operate in the new creation that you are, you must be transformed by the renewal of your mind to live in My Word and for it to live in you. And I empower you to walk in My Word by My Spirit in you, for if you yield to Him, He will guide you to all truth, remind you of all I have said, teach you all things, and lead you in the life you were designed to live. In Him and with Him will come the spirit of wisdom and revelation. And He will write My Word in your hearts. But you must guard your heart with all diligence and not return to the slavery of sin and death a second time because I have set you free of the law of sin and death by the death of My Son as the substitutionary sacrifice for your sins. “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:2-8. But you who have My Spirit in you, if you renew your mind in My Word, can live according to the Spirit. It all has to do with your mind.
If you hear and read and speak My Word, if you continue in it, if you live in it, then your mind will be washed of the evil and purged of the addictions, anger, bitterness, shame, guilt, immorality, lust, fear, anxiety, depression, and all the other works of the flesh until you begin thinking and speaking just like Me. Spirit unto spirit. And you will then bear abundant fruit unto life eternal, fruitful in good works. You are blessed by Me to be a blessing to all. Just like faithful Abraham.
No amount of fasting, pleading, crying, whining, penance, or long vigils bombarding heaven for an answer will cleanse your mind and set you free. Only one thing will. My Word. My Word made all, sustains all, upholds all, renews all, restores all, and cleanses all. Jesus told you that, “If you continue (abide, remain, live, dwell) in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:31-32. It is all a matter of faith in My Word and then speaking from that faith. And faith only comes one way, and it is not begging and pleading, it comes from hearing and hearing My Word, and especially My Word concerning Christ. Romans 10:17. It all comes down to My Word. And that should not surprise you. I am My Word and so is Jesus. John 1:1, 14. Think about that.
I love you. And if you answer you love Me, do you recall what Jesus answered when Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus answered by saying to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.” John 14:22-24. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and so am I, I never change. I am still the LORD your healer, Exodus 15:26, but how do I do that? I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions (pits). Psalm 107:20. Do you understand? There is no other way but My Word. If you have not been getting the results you desire in your life, you need to think about this and do a word check on what you are saying and praying. You may need some brain washing with the water of My Word.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6.
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14.
