Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” But what does it say? “The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the Word of faith which we are preaching. Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
No matter how chaotic your life or the world becomes you have the answer. You have the solution. You are equipped. You are armed and ready. You do not have to scream, yell, panic, cry, and scurry about frantically seeking an answer. YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ANSWER. “But the righteousness from faith speaks as follows: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” But what does it say? “The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the Word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes into righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, into salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved (sozo: to save, heal, preserve, rescue).” Romans 10:6-13.
In every situation, the first thing you want to do is hear from Me. Do you remember when Moses and the Israelites I redeemed out of the slavery of Egypt faced the deep Red Sea on one side and were trapped on the other side by Pharaoh’s army of chariots and charioteers? They were in a panic and screaming at Moses and Me, but Moses turned to hear from Me, which they all should have done, and I told him what to do. And I brought victory, salvation and peace.
Do you see the wisdom of following Psalm 85? “Let me hear what God the LORD will say; for He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones, but let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is near to those who honor Him, that glory may dwell in our land.” Psalm 85:8-9. My glory, that is, My goodness, power, and presence, dwelling in your world of chaos to calm your heart and still all the waves churned up by the wicked and sometimes even by you.
I am the God of peace, not of confusion. I am peace. Jesus is Prince of peace. In the midst of your storm I speak peace, just as Jesus did when the disciples woke Him in the fierce storm on the lake, He told it “Peace. Be still.” And the raging storm turned into a gentle breeze that made their passage to the other side of the lake easy and quick.
I know the plans I have for you—plans for your shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a hope (a cord beyond the veil). And how does this come? “The seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James 3:18. And you know from the first parable of My Son, which is the key to all the parables, that the seed is My Word. The answer? Plant My Word in any situation and you will harvest righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, and you know what that is! The Kingdom.
You may think this sounds too simple to answer your problems and calm your storms, but it is the solution I give you. I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions (pits), and if you are willing and obey you will have the good of the land. Jesus is My Word made flesh and He is your salvation in every situation.
When I speak, I speak salvation. Indeed that is the Name I gave My Word made flesh. Yeshuah, which simply means “Salvation.” I sent Him to seek out and save the lost. I did not send Him to condemn the world but to save it. He did not come to destroy life but to give you abundant life, eternal life, resurrection life.
My Words to you are always showing you salvation. “Because he has loved (chashaq: attached to in love, to delight in, to desire as delightful) Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16.
You should want to hear My Words, to listen to Me, because I will speak words of salvation into your situation. “My son give attention to My Words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22. “Let your heart hold fast My Words; keep My commandments and live; acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the Words of My mouth.” Proverbs 4:4-5. I am a saving God for you who believe. When you call, I answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. Jeremiah 33:3.
In every situation, circumstance, trouble, trial, or whatever it may be you have the answer and it has been given to you by Me, it is My Word. Put it in your heart and speak it with your mouth and do not deviate from it to the right or to the left. “Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:25-27. My Word is the light to your path and the lamp for your feet that you must walk in to have the victory you want. “Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”” Joshua 1:7-9.
Do you remember the synagogue leader, Jairus? He came to Jesus and made a bold declaration of faith, “My little daughter is at the point of death; come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will get well and live.” Mark 5:23. He left no room for doubt. My Son went with him to do as Jairus had declared. On the way there the report came that Jairus’ daughter had died and it was useless to bring Jesus to his house now. He looked at Jesus. You should always look at Him for He is My Word, so you look at My Word. And My Word says I am the LORD your healer and that nothing is too wonderful for Me. And it says I have years ordained for you– a long happy life of good days. Jesus responded to the report very simply, He was not moved by it, He told Jairus not to change his declaration of faith. Jesus told him, “Do not be afraid, only keep on believing.” Mark 5:36. Jairus made the decision not to say a word. He did not cancel his declaration of faith. He continued on with Jesus as if there had been no report of death. And what happened? Just as Jairus had said in faith. Jesus put her hand in His hand and told her to get up. And she obeyed, perfectly healed. Mark 5:41-42.
And there was the Centurion with the servant suffering painfully who came to Jesus and told Jesus there was no need to come to the servant, just to say the Word and the servant would be healed. Jesus called that great faith and agreed with him that it would be done just as he had declared. And so it was. And when you agree with His Words He still performs them today as the High Priest of your confession (homologia, i.e., speaking the same words in agreement).
Say the Word to move mountains, stop storms, heal blind eyes, open deaf ears and raise the dead. Do you remember? Jesus told His disciples: “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8. And Jesus has not changed. He goes beyond that with you, He tells you if you believe in Him you will do the works He did and greater. How? The same way He did, by My Word. He spoke only My Words and did only the works I showed Him. I tell you to do the same. Paul told you to imitate him as he imitated Christ.
You need to take time to hear from Me and then you need to speak My Words into the earth so they can come to pass. This is My covenant with you, My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your children, nor from the mouth of your children’s children from now and forever. Isaiah 59: 21. My Spirit on you to guide you and lead you to all truth, My Word is truth, and My Words in YOUR mouth. “I have put My Words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to plant the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Isaiah 51:16. The shadow of My hand—this is the Spirit hovering over you as He did over Mary and she birthed the Word into the earth, as He also did over the dark abyss as I filled the chaotic void with beauty, order, light and life. And My Words and My Spirit will do that for you no matter what dark chaos you have gotten into.
You have the solution already, before the problem even came to your attention, and it is in your heart and in your mouth if you have been abiding in My Word and letting it abide in you each day. The instructions I gave Joshua and Solomon still work just the same. And Jesus enlightened you further on it in the fifteenth chapter of John. Abide in His Word as the branch in the vine and the fruit will be there when you need it. And you ask what you will and it is done for you when you are living in My Word.
All you have to do is believe and speak My Word and stand on that Word without wavering, like Jairus. Like the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years. Like Daniel. Like Joseph. Like Mary. Like Jesus. Like Paul. Like you.
Do not beg to bring it down or up, you have it already. All you need pertaining to life and godliness has been given you. But how do you access it? By knowing Me and I am My Word. “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” 2 Peter 1:2-3.
If you know My Word, you know Me. And He is the only way to Me. The Word. My sheep hear My voice, they know Me, and they follow Me. They follow the voice of My Word.
Bind My Words continually on your heart; tie them around your neck. When you walk about, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk to you. Proverbs 6:21-22. Write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 7:3. You do that by the hand of your tongue. Have you never read: “My heart is astir with a good theme; I speak my verses to the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.” Psalm 45:1.
And I have given you the answer to everything. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth. I have given you the seed and the bread in My Word. The seed to sow into a situation to change and the bread to eat to make you strong and put the Word in your heart so you speak it and feed others too. And when you speak My Word, it works like it does with Me, it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11. In any given situation you must be the first responder by speaking My Word over it and nothing else. And things will move and there will be life and those things that be not will come to be.
If you want God results, that is, My kind of results, you have to bring Me into the conversation. And how do you do that? By speaking My Word, for I am My Word and Jesus is My Word become flesh. So in speaking My Word, you bring Me into the situation. And when I am with you, who or what can stand against you? As I told Gideon as he cowered in the oppression of the enemy, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat Midian as one man.” Judges 6:16. But he had to stop saying he was weak and could do nothing to stop the enemy and start agreeing with Me that he was a hero with the strength of any army. Judges 6:12.
I love you. No matter how chaotic your life or the world becomes you have the answer. You have the solution. You are equipped. You are armed and ready. You do not have to scream, yell, panic, cry, and scurry about frantically seeking an answer. YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ANSWER. It is in your heart and in your mouth. It is My Word. Let the weak say, “I am a hero.” Joel 3:10.
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.
The word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God, the God who girds me with strength and makes my way blameless (clean, pure)? He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and sets me upon my high places. He trains my hands for battle, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, and Your right hand upholds me; and You have stooped to make me great. You enlarge my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.” Psalm 18:30-36.
