Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven’; or to say, ‘Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’? Mark 2:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says;
You know that salvation has already been won for you by Jesus and all you have to do is believe in your heart and confess and you are made righteous and are saved. Romans 10:9-10. Why then do you think it is any different for being healed of any sickness, disease, or pain?
Jesus bore your diseases, sicknesses, and pains at the same time He bore your sins, iniquities, and shame. Surely our sickness (in the Hebrew it was originally written in, the word is “choli,” which means sickness, that is, physical illness) He Himself bore, and our pains (makob: pain) He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being (shalom) fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him אֵ֖ת.” Isaiah 53:4-6. And I verify this to you again in the Gospel of Matthew, “When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were ill. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases.” Matthew 8:16-17.
Salvation is done and available and healing is done and available, and you take both the same way—you believe in your heart and confess (speak in agreement) with your mouth. But both are finished and ready for the taking. You do not beg for your salvation; you know that is My Will for you and that it is there for you to reach out and receive. You do not think I will withhold that from anyone. Yet when it comes to healing, people are begging and cajoling Me to heal them. But what they do not understand is that in Jesus, they are healed already. They just have to take the healing. “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:24-25.
Jesus explained this, He told the Pharisees, “Which is easier to say, ‘your sins are forgiven’ or be healed?’” They are both very easy for you but it cost Jesus His life to make them available to you. And He sweat blood so intense was the anguish of His soul in receiving all your sins and sickness into Himself to become sin for you so that in Him you become righteous with My own righteousness and healed with My own life. He took these on Himself to free you of them.
Disease, illness, lack, death are all the result of the sin that corrupted the seed and made all Adam’s descendants perishable. Yes, the first man did that so that death spread to all his seed. But Jesus came not of Adam’s corruptible seed but of the incorruptible seed of My eternal Word and took all our sins and diseases and gave you His righteousness, health, riches, and eternal life. Because of His finished work, you are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Heaven. You have only to draw on it as needed. In Jesus, it has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom, and that includes righteousness, peace, healing, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
So how do you take the healing that is already yours? The same way you take forgiveness: Come with confidence to the throne of grace to receive mercy (forgiveness) and find grace (healing, prosperity) in time of need. When you need healing it is available for you have already been healed by His wounds, you only have to come with confidence and take it. And how do you take it? Believe in your heart and confess it with your mouth. “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.” Colossians 2:6-7.
You have all your need for life and godliness in Christ. “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.” 2 Peter 1:2-4. So why are you trying so hard to make happen what you already have? You do not have to make it, Jesus already made it, you just have to take it (actively receive it) by faith. You cannot save yourself, only the eternal blood could, and you cannot heal yourself, only the body of My Son can. Depend on Jesus for all you need for salvation and all you need for healing. He is the vine, you are the branches, and you can do nothing without Him but everything is yours with Him. I gave you My only begotten Son, will I not give you all things with Him besides?
The devil tries to steal the Word from you so you do not know what you have and think I am withholding it from you. That is exactly what he did with Eve and she believed his lies and sinned to obtain what she already had. If he can take My Words from you and make you doubt them he knows he can kill and destroy you.
Why does he want to take My Word from you above all? Because I sent My Word and HEALED YOU AND DELIVERED YOU FROM ALL YOUR DESTRUCTIONS. Psalm 107:20. And you will note that is in the past tense. It is done already.
Please understand, you are not trying by faith to get Me to heal you. I sent Jesus, My Word made flesh, and HEALED YOU and SAVED YOU. It is finished and paid for. Your part is to receive it by faith. And in the Greek language it was first written in, the word I use for “receive” is “lambánō,” which is from the root, “lab,” meaning “actively lay hold of to take or receive,”– properly, to lay hold by aggressively (actively) accepting what is available (offered); to accept with initiative,” which emphasizes the volition (assertiveness) of the receiver. Do not let Satan steal what Jesus died to give you.
As many as receive (lambano) Him, to them He gives the authority to become My children, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of Me. “And the Word became flesh, and [k]dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:12-14.
Even in worldly examples, you have to take things to have them, even when they are already yours. When a prisoner receives an executive pardon, he must take it by SAYING he accepts it and agrees with it otherwise he will not be released. And if you do actively keep watch on property you own, squatters can come in and take it by adverse possession. Give the devil no place.
I want you to read and receive My Word in a whole new way. Look for My promises, which are all “yes” to you in Christ Jesus and take them as your own with joy. Pounce on them as a soldier does on the spoil of battle. Consider Psalm 103 and bring it with confidence to My throne of grace, and say, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits! He pardons all your iniquities, THANK YOU LORD, I AGREE! ALL MY SINS ARE FORGIVEN! He heals all your diseases, THANK YOU LORD, I AGREE! I AM HEALED OF ALL MY DISEASES! (and name whatever ailment is attacking you). He redeems your life from the pit, THANK YOU LORD! I AGREE! I AM REDEEMED FROM LACK AND HAVE PROSPERITY, I AM REDEEMED FROM DEPRESSION AND HAVE JOY UNSPEAKABLE FILLED WITH GLORY! I AM REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE AND HAVE THE BLESSING OF THE LORD THAT MAKES RICH AND ADDS NO SORROW WITH IT! He surrounds you and crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; THANK YOU LORD! I AGREE! YOU SEND ME SO MANY WHO LOVE AND CARE FOR ME! YOU GIVE ME FAVOR EVERYWHERE I GO! AND YOU HOLD ME CLOSE IN YOUR LOVE AND CONSTANT CARE! He fills my days with good things, THANK YOU LORD! I AGREE! I LACK NO GOOD THING! MY DAYS ARE FILLED WITH ABUNDANCE OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS THAT COME TO ME! So that your youth is renewed like the eagle, THANK YOU LORD! I AGREE! YOU HAVE FOUND A RANSOM FOR ME AND MY FLESH BECOMES FRESHER THAN IN YOUTH AND YOU RETURN ME TO THE DAYS OF MY YOUTHFUL VIGOR! YOU CAUSE ME TO SOAR AS WITH EAGLE’S WINGS! WALK AND NOT GROW WEARY, RUN AND NOT GROW FAINT!
Do you see the key to receiving all that Christ died to give you? How do you take it since it is there for you? You do not beg for what is given to you already. No, what do you do when you ask and the answer is “YES”? YOU SAY THANK YOU! And the bigger the gift, the bigger and more enthusiastic is your thanksgiving. And that of course is the key to unlock all your benefits: THE VOICE OF THANKSGIVING.
And that is the secret to all. “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with THANKSGIVING.” Colossians 2:6-7.
I love you. ALL I have is yours in Christ. So how do you receive ALL? You say, “Thank you” and bless Me with every part of your forgiven, healed, and blessed spirit, soul, and body!
“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24.
