I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4.
For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of self-control (self-discipline with wisdom and prudence). 2 Timothy 1:7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
I sent Jesus as My gift to you to save you from your sins, to be wisdom for you from Me, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, to make peace between us by the blood of His cross, reconcile you to Me as if you had never sinned for I put all sin on Him and punished it justly so that you are justified, and present you holy, blameless, and beyond reproach before Me, but it does not stop there. There is MUCH MORE He opens to you and it is His gift to you who believe in Him as Lord of My promise of ages past. He enables you to inherit the promise of the Spirit by faith. A new heart with My Spirit in you and on you so that we no longer strive (Genesis 6:3) but are ONE in purpose, power, love, goodness, and understanding (My Spirit shares with you My thoughts). If you but knew My gift you would ask Jesus for a drink and He would give you living water. He came to unite you totally with Me in One Spirit. He came to make your deadened spirits alive by new birth from above to receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT. He lit your lamps and put in the anointing oil. “Therefore I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:6-7. Do not quench the Holy Spirit, He is in you if you believe.
On Pentecost when the Spirit fell upon the believers in Jesus, the Church, Peter told the astonished crowd, “This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.” Acts 2:32-33. And how to you receive this wondrous gift of My divine life, the Holy Spirit, in you to regenerate and make you one with Me? “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” Acts 2:38-39.
It is time you began to walk in the Spirit.
And that is what this new series of life lessons will be about. I want you to utilize the greatest gift of all. I have given you My Spirit, My very essence, to be in you and with you always. I have made you a partaker of My divine nature. We can now communicate at a whole new level. And you can walk in confidence knowing exactly what to do at all times by the leadings, witness, promptings, directions, corrections, and teaching of My Holy Spirit in you and on you. Very few walk in this level of life, even though you can all do so from the least to the greatest. And why is that? Ignorance of the presence of My Spirit is a huge factor, even in born again believers, but the primary reason is because, whether out of ignorance, worldliness, selfish ambition, lust, or rebellion, they will not yield to the promptings of the Spirit. Many grieve and quench Him. And many live in the outer court, so to speak, of the flesh following only the reasonings and analytic abilities of the human mind, and the ups and downs of the world, but that is not enough for you to walk in freedom from fear. They never enter the Holy of Holies through Jesus has opened the way, a new and living way.
The Holy Spirit. You see Him acting in union with Me from the beginning of the creation of the world. He was hovering over the dark waters, over the void, and I spoke the Word, “Light be” and light was. First came the Light of Life and the rest of My life-filled world followed. And you see Him rushing upon the saints of old—on prophets, judges, leaders of the people, kings, and priests. You see Him giving skill to craftsmen, builders, warriors, and people I called to ministry. It was not by human prowess and might that wonders happened, but by My Spirit. David knew that My Spirit was upon him from the day Samuel anointed him and his greatest fear when he sinned was that I would take My Holy Spirit from him. But not everyone was anointed and not everyone walked in that prophetic light. But Moses prayed that you would all prophesy. And Joel had a vision of it for the latter days, the early and the latter rain. When I would pour out My Spirit like liquid love upon all flesh who had opened their hearts to receive by being born again in My Son.
But My Son had to be glorified first in order that you would be able to join your spirits with Mine. For all who believe come to new life in Him. “Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” John 7:37-39.
And who is this Spirit? I tell you He is the LORD Spirit. He is One God with Me and My Son and you will see Him described as My Spirit and also as the Spirit of Jesus. He proceeds from our essence and is Light and Love as we are. I in Him, He in Me, Jesus in Me, the Spirit in Jesus, Jesus in the Spirit, and I am all in all. I fellowship with you in the Spirit and so does Jesus as you partner with us in the Spirit, He is the divine life that fills the branches attached to the vine of Jesus and produces fruit with your Spirit. And I am the vinedresser. The vine keeper. He is how I put My hand on you in power and impart healing and health into your mortal bodies. Remember? My servant Luke told you that when Jesus was present the power to heal was present. And when the woman touched the tassel on His garment, Jesus knew the power had issued forth from Him into that woman to heal her. And she took that healing by faith. And after I raised Jesus from the dead and He ascended to Me and poured out the Spirit on all believers, then even Peter’s shadow healed the sick with the power of the Spirit in him.
But My Son gave the greatest introduction to the Holy Spirit in His ministry to you on the night He was betrayed. And He amazed His disciples when He said, “I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (the Paraclete) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” John 16:7. Better to be without His physical presence? Well, that was limited but the presence by the Spirit fills everywhere and every place at one and the same time. To have My counsel, help, and direction you need only look into the deepest recesses of your soul to your spirit for My indwelling presence by My Spirit.
And what did Jesus tell His apostles about what the Holy Spirit was going to do for them that it was so very advantageous He come back to Me to send Him? He told them there was much more He wanted to tell them about spiritual things and His mission and theirs but they were not ready for it yet. But He told them there was One He would send to them who would take up where He had left off, “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” John 16:12-13.
And what would this wondrous Paraclete, the one ever at your side as your helper, comforter, director, teacher and guide do? What is the Holy Spirit’s ministry to you? To empower you to witness and bring all into salvation, John 15:26; Acts 1:8, to reveal to you My deep thoughts, 1 Corinthians 2:6-16, to reveal to you My Will for your life, John 16:13-15, to guide you to all truth, John 16:13, to enlighten and reveal to you the meanings of My Word, 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, tell you of the things to come, John 16:13, teach you all things, John 14:26, bring to your remembrance all I have said, John 14:26, give you words and a wisdom no one can take exception to or contradict, Luke 21:15, build you up, encourage you, exhort you, comfort you, inspire you, John 14:16; 1 Corinthians 14, testify to and witness with your spirit that you are My child, My heir and a joint heir with Christ and that your sins and offenses I remember NO MORE, Romans 8:16; Hebrews 10:15-17, testify to Jesus, John 15: 26-27, give you grace gifts that manifest My presence for the benefit of all, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, produce fruit in you with your spirit, Galatians 5:22-23, and lead you, Romans 8:14. And that is not the half of what He does. He is the anointing and He is the power in you that gives life to your mortal body and raises you to a glorified body on the Last Day. Romans 8:11. He is the anointing. He makes you One with Me and makes your body His temple and My house. “But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:4-7. “And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:5. Living waters, liquid love, pure and refreshing, the fountain of life welling up within you so that you will never thirst again. On Pentecost, the crowd thought the believers were drunk with new wine. There is JOY in the Holy Spirit. If you want joy in your life, desire earnestly the gifts of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:1.
For My Son came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; for through Him you have your access in one Spirit to Me, the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of My household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in Jesus, in whom you also are being built together into My dwelling in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:17-22.
Jesus did not leave you orphans. “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (paraklétos: a legal advocate, intercessor, a consoler, comforter, helper), that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:16-18.
Now if you have a helper, a comforter, an advocate, a guide, a leader, one who prays with and intercedes for you, Romans 8:26, one who tells you of the things to come, puts healing power in you, and gives you access to Me so you can converse with Me, and hear My Words and thoughts to give you direction and revelation and empower you to succeed, and gives you spiritual gifts such as a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge, supernatural faith, gifts of healings, effecting of miracles prophecy, distinguishing of spirits, various kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues, why would you fear anything or anyone? In the Spirit, I pull back the curtain that veils you from seeing things as I see them, in Him I give you glimpses of the things in the spirit that are surrounding you. You can see as I see and say what I say for you will hear My Words to you that are just for that moment. Where My Spirit is there is freedom.
And you will sing with David, “I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4. For I did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of self-control (self-discipline with wisdom and prudence). 2 Timothy 1:7. My gift of the Holy Spirit fulfills My promise to never leave you or forsake you. And it is the fulfillment of “Do not fear, I am with you.”
I love you. The Holy Spirit is My promise and gift to you. Acts 2:33; Acts 1:4-5; John 4:10; Acts 38-39. Jesus came to earth and died for you to be reconciled to Me so that Jesus could return to Heaven and pour out the Holy Spirit into your heart, so you could become a House of God and a Gate of Heaven. Acts 2:33; 1 Corinthians 3:16, John 16:7. Let us begin our journey as I introduce you to the wonderful Holy Spirit. I want you up at a whole new level. And I have given you My Spirit to get there.
