But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24.

He only is my Rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. Psalm 62:6.

Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

If you desire a long, good life now and for eternity, you MUST watch your words and make a determination to say things that help you instead of things that hinder you. I am present as your helper, a very present help in time of danger, and indeed at all times, but I cannot force you to take a result different from what you are speaking over your life. The righteous shall live by faith and if you draw back you deprive Me of the pleasure of performing My Word in your life. Death and life are in the power (hand) of your tongue. You will eat the fruit of your lips.

I tell you that you will know people by their fruit. The words of your mouth and the thoughts of your heart are directing your life. And others around you will know who you are by your words. The mouth of the wicked is like thrusts of a sword and can cut short lives and ruin destinies, but the mouth of the righteous will deliver them.

My apostle Paul knew how to speak victory and I delivered him out of all his trials. “Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured! But out of them all the Lord delivered me.” 2 Timothy 3:11. The same with My servant David. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Psalm 34:19. You will have tribulations in the world as it is now, but take courage, I have overcome the world. How? In Jesus, who is My Word made flesh. So you overcome the tribulations in the world only one way, My Word. “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14. And how do you manifest the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ Jesus? By speaking My Word, “as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God.” 2 Corinthians 2:17.

Today we continue our series entitle “Watch Your Words!” with Life Lesson No. 6: “Nothing moves me,” it could also be called “Do Not Assume the Worst.” My servant Paul said that nothing moved him—not persecutions, afflictions, or chains—so long as he was completing his assignment from Me. He had learned to be at peace and have joy in any circumstance whether the world would term it good or bad. But to have this kind of peace even in the midst of a storm you need an anchor that keeps you from going adrift, one that holds you fast no matter how fierce the storm is. And not only an anchor but you need strong ground in which to embed it. Anchors hold boats in place by penetrating and burrowing into the surface of the seabed. This creates pressure and resistance. When the anchor is pulled on by strong winds against the boat, the anchor will penetrate and burrow deeper into the seabed, causing further resistance and stabilizing the boat in place. Anchors can either be temporary or permanent. Permanent anchors are used in the creation of a mooring, and are rarely moved, they are embedded in solid rock or concrete.

You have an anchor and you have an everlasting rock in which to attach it permanently so that you cannot be moved.

“For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will surely multiply you.” And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise. For men swear by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath given as confirmation is an end of every dispute. In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:13-20.

I made a promise to Abraham that I would surely bless him and multiply him, and he hung onto and obtained that promise, being fully persuaded that what I promised I would perform. He refused to look at his and Sarah’s aged bodies but stayed anchored in Me and he obtained that promise through faith and patience. And I confirmed that promise by an oath to show you, the heirs (for in Christ you become descendants of Abraham and heirs of the promise), that by two unchangeable things, you who have taken refuge in Me would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before you—this hope you have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters behind the veil to anchor you in the Holy of Holies (and in the temple Solomon built the Holy of Holies was built upon the rock where Abraham offered up Isaac to Me), to your everlasting Rock, where no storm can shake you. Hope, like an anchor for a ship, just hooks in deeper when the storm comes. Hope is confident expectation of a good outcome. Surely in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply you. Christ redeemed you from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for you—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that you would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.

You have been redeemed and I have pulled you out of pit of destruction, out of the miry swamp, and put your feet firmly on the rock. And I have put a new song in your mouth, a joyful song of praise. Psalm 40:1-3. I am the everlasting rock. I keep in perfect peace (shalom shalom—a double portion of peace), the one whose mind is stayed on Me, because he trusts in Me. “Trust in the LORD forever, for in Yah (יה), the LORD (יהוה), is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4. You keep your mind set on Me by remaining, abiding, and continuing in My Word. For example, if sickness comes against you like a storm that the devil raises (a dust storm for he crawls in the dirt), I have said that by the bloody scourging of Jesus you have been healed, He bore your diseases and carried away your infirmities, so say “that does not move me for I have put my anchor of hope deep in my everlasting rock, behind the veil in the Holy of Holies, and refuse to give up any ground but speak out that you have healing and take it. “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession (speaking the same Word). For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16. You can anchor in Me for you have a new and living way that is open to you through the veil and you stay there resting in full assurance that in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I shall multiply you. For it is impossible for Me to lie. And no one can curse what I have blessed. No weapon formed against you can prosper. Do you believe that? Speak it until you do and can drive out all the demons who would try to take you down by your own words. If you agree with them that you are sick, broke and unhappy, you will be taken captive by them. But you do not have to be. Declare your citizenship rights, for you have been born again into My Kingdom and are a citizen of Heaven with a right to the benefits even now, and put Me in remembrance of them and I will perform them in your life. I have given you every blessing in the Spirit already, you have only to speak it into the earth. Put a demand on the blessing and do not let go. Put your anchor deep for hope does not disappoint. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition (enforcing your citizenship rights) with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7.

Jesus told you more than once at the Passover meal the night He was betrayed to not let your heart be troubled or afraid. He told you to have faith in Me and in Him, and He gave you His peace. Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7.

Build, anchor, and settle your life on the rock of My Word for I am My Word and Jesus is My Word and the Holy Spirit breathes My Word into you so that you may prophesy speaking My Words in encouragement, exhortation, and comfort. Jesus told you this in a parable: “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, will be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27.

There is only one way you will not be moved by any tactics of the devil and that is by standing on My Word and putting your anchor of hope deep down in the Rock of your salvation. And like the anchor on the ship, the harder the wind blows the deeper the anchor embeds so that the ship stays stable in the storm. And I will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is your treasure. Isaiah 33:6. In righteousness you will be established (I made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin on your behalf so that in Him you become righteous with My own righteousness); you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you. Isiah 54:14.

When you hear a bad report and it looks like all hope is gone, it is then you must find the promise in My Word that addresses that problem and makes it all work out for your good, and then stand up tall on the rock that is higher than you and solemnly declare, decree and enforce My Word, for all My promises are “yes” to you in Christ Jesus, your Lord. Just amen the promise and do not let go of it. Anchor yourself in it and believe for the promise. Never assume the worst, the dreaded outcome, instead believe for the blessing. Jesus died to give it to you. Do not let go of so great a salvation.

I love you. And that is for sure. Have you come to know and believe in the perfect love I have for you? And perfect love casts out all fear. Never doubt My goodness and you shall be filled with it to overflowing. Jeremiah 31:14.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
