So Jesus said to the twelve, “You do not want to go away also, do you?” Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.” John 6:67-68.
For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:49-50.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
My Words are not idle words, My Words are your life. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the Words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. “My son, give attention to My words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart.” Proverbs 4:20-21. Listen. Attentively. And thus we continue our series on how to hear My voice and we are on Life Lesson No. 3: “You have the Words of Eternal Life.”
After My Son told the Israelites whom He had fed with five loaves and two fish with twelve baskets left over that He was the true bread come down from Heaven for a person to eat and live forever and that unless you partook of His body and blood you had no life in you, many of those following Him left to go elsewhere. They did not understand and found His words strange. My Son did not change what He was saying to please the crowd and let the ones go who rejected His Words. He asked the twelve if they wanted to leave Him too, and they did not. Peter explained, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God.” John 6:68-69. Peter had been with Him too long to turn back and he knew that His Words were filled with healing, comfort, hope, eternity, miracles, and revelation that he had never dreamed possible before he met Jesus. He knew that the Words of Jesus were supernatural words of life, he knew they were spirit and life.
If you want to hear My voice it begins with honoring My Words, not by rejecting them. It begins by obeying them and not openly living in life styles or agreeing with current philosophies that I say are wrong. It begins by seeing them as Words of eternal value and thus of eternal life.
My Words are very special words. And every letter of them in the language they were originally breathed forth by My Spirit has a meaning. Every Hebrew letter has a picture (pictogram), a number that it represents, and a meaning, and words have roots that are generally three letters that tell you much about the word and its deeper meaning, even how to walk in it. For example, the root word for healing is “relax.”
Each letter is amazing. Say, for example, we look at the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet, this letter is “bet” ב which represents a house in its early pictogram and its number is 2, and the word formed from that letter, “beth” בת means a house, so Bethlehem means house of bread (beth lehem) and that is the town in which My Son, who is the bread of life, was born according to the flesh.
And when you look at the word for father (אב), which is made up of two Hebrew letters, the aleph (the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and its pictogram is the head of an ox- the strong one and the sacrifice) and bet (house) combined in one word to mean the strong one of the house who sacrifices himself for the family. And considering the word for mother (אם), which is aleph mem (mem is living water, the Spirit), so she is the one that is strong in spirit. Next, consider the word for child (יֶלֶד), which is yod (pictogram and meaning is a hand, denoting power), the lamed (pictogram is the shepherd’s staff, and it means a learner or student being led by a shepherd or teacher), and the dalet (pictogram and meaning is a door), so a child is a learner being guided by the discipline and power of the hand of authority to walk through the door into maturity. Yod, meaning hand, I also use when I say that death and life are in the power (yod) (hand) of your tongue. The tongue has great power in that it is how you form words and speak, so you reach out the hand of your tongue to take what you are speaking or to guide and lead, “A soothing tongue is a tree of life, but perversion in it crushes the spirit.” Proverbs 15:4. Be careful what you say to your children and one another.
And then, you will find the letters of the word for father in Hebrew add up to 3 since the aleph is 1 and the bet is 2, the word for mother adds up to 41 since the aleph is 1 and the mem is 40, so adding the letters the form the words for father and mother you have the sum of 44 produced together, and when you add up the letters in the word for child in Hebrew you get 44, being the yod is 10, the lamed is 30, and the dalet is 4, meaning the fruit of the father and mother is the child for the letters in their two words add up to the letters in the one word of child. And I do many other things like that to show you lessons in the very letters which are the smallest parts of words and then the words make sentences, some of which are menorah verses, like Proverbs 4:22, and so on.
All of My Word is breathed by My Spirit and filled with levels beyond what have been tapped. But you will notice that the Hebrew language is still spoken, read, and My Word preserved in that language. The Word was kept alive. Witness the dead sea scrolls. I preserve, watch over and protect My Words. They are established forever in Heaven. Jesus, who is My Word made flesh, told you, “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill (complete). For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter (the yod) or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” Matthew 5:17-18.
And in My Words you will find My faith and My life being transmitted to you no matter into what language they have been translated, the essence remains across languages. The revelation of My Word gives light and understanding to the simple. “Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You.” Psalm 119:11. I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions (pits). Psalm 107:20. There is power in My Words, and if you fill your heart with them, they will keep you, protect you, deliver you, counsel you, and feed you. And you will hear My voice in My Words as you read them, listen to them, and meditate upon them. “Bind them continually on your heart; tie them around your neck. When you walk about, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk to you. For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light.” Proverbs 6:21-23. My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. My Word is filled with sweetness and light. Sweeter than honey dripping from the comb.
There is no one else that will give you words like Mine that give life and heal your bodies. There is no one else that will give you words of eternal life but Me. Hear and be healed.
My Son defines eternal life as a relationship of knowing Me and My Son. I say relationship because I already know you, in fact, I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. I called you by name before you were born and I had My plans for you all prepared in advance that you might walk in them and enjoy them. But that is why many have such sad and destructive lives; they never walk in My plan for them but go off on a detour that ends in a shipwreck of their lives and of those that travel with them. The devil is a murderer and a liar from the beginning but many people choose to walk out his plan for their lives rather than Mine. It happened in Adam and Eve. Awake sleeper and Christ will give you light! It is time to wake up and come into the light, and once you have allowed Me to rescue you from the realm of darkness and transfer you into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, the Kingdom of Light, then I ask you to partner with Me in saving souls. “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20.
You are wise to save souls. Proverbs 11:30. I called Paul to give his life to that task, “to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.” Acts 26:18.
Let Me give you a little rule of thumb here for hearing My voice. What I speak gives life. If it is My voice that you are discerning, what I am sharing with you will bless you and others. There will be a benefit to you and a benefit to others. I told Abraham I would bless him to be a blessing, that in him all the families of the earth would be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3. And My apostle Paul tells you that your giving should not impoverish you. In fact, your sowing should result in your reaping a harvest. I give seed to the sower and bread to the eater so that you, having all sufficiency, have an abundance for every good work.
Hearing My voice comes from spending time in My Word. It is My voice that is in My Word and it is there you learn how to hear Me and it is in My Words that you find life. My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. Do not worry about hearing My voice. If you read the Bible you already do.
All My promises are “yes” to you in Jesus. Why? Because He has made you righteous, holy and blameless before Me which qualifies you for receiving every promise. And I have promised you that you hear your Shepherd’s voice. I have promised you that under the new covenant all will know Me from the least to the greatest. I have promised you that your sins and offenses I remember no more. And I have promised you eternal life. These promises are “yes” to you in Christ Jesus. Expect them and receive them by faith.
I love you. Let Me take care of everything in your life. Hand everything over to Me and be at peace as I walk you through it. “Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own special treasure among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” Exodus 19:5-6.
And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion And the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:3.
So will My Word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11.
