In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, “The LORD our righteousness.” Jeremiah 23:6.

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

I AM, I was and I will be your righteousness. And as we continue our life lessons on knowing My Name we will consider My title of צִדְקֵֽנוּ יְהוָ֥ה (“The LORD our righteousness”) (YHWH Tsidkenu). This Name is extremely vital to you. You should all cling to it with grateful awe. Why? It is your way into My Kingdom, for My Kingdom is a kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. My Blessing is on the head of the righteous.

This is the Name, that is, what comes through this Name, that opens every benefit to you, blesses you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven, and makes all of My magnificent promises “yes” to you in Christ Jesus.

There is a righteousness by works, that is, by keeping and obeying all My laws, being pure, doing good works, and never sinning. But man, from the beginning, broke My laws and covenants and conceived evil in his heart so that I found there was no one that was perfectly, unchangeably righteous. I looked and found none. There were many that attained a great degree of it by following My teachings and commandments, but no one was perfectly righteous until Jesus. And He told you Himself, “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” John 15:10. He ALWAYS did what pleased Me with no deviations into sin, the devil had NO place in Him. So what did I do? I gave you My righteousness by faith. Faith in My Son who gave His life for you to make you righteous with My own righteousness that the inheritance of the righteous would be yours. I made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin on your behalf, so that you might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21. And with and in Him I raised you up righteous and made you joint heirs with Him.

The wages of sin is death, but My free gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus your Lord. Romans 6:23. Righteousness is no longer something you are working to obtain, it is My free gift to you who have faith in Jesus, not having a righteousness of your own derived from the Law, which you can have one day and lose the next, but having the righteousness, which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from Me on the basis of faith and cannot be taken away because you are righteous with My righteousness, which I will never lose. I AM righteous, there is no unrighteousness in Me. Psalm 92:15.

Now, let us look more closely at the Name, צִדְקֵֽנוּ יְהוָ֥ה (“The LORD our righteousness”). It is one of My descriptive names that is generated from and in My covenant Name of Yahweh, the One who is, who was, and who is to come. Yahweh is My core Name—from everlasting to everlasting I AM, from before antiquity to beyond futurity but ever present here and now. I AM the living God. And from that Name emanates who I AM to you, how I AM ever present to help you, to heal you, to strengthen you, to protect you, to carry you, to provide for you, to forgive you, and to make you righteous. If nothing else from My Name, with all its emanations, you should learn that I AM here for you to make you all you should be and to give you a victorious and joyful life. But you must take that by faith or you will not walk in it.

The word “righteousness” in the Hebrew letters in which it was first written is צְדָקָה. Hebrew reads from right to left, so the first letter is a “Tsade” (צ) (pronounced “tsah-dee”), this letter is also called “צדיק (tsadik),” which means a righteous person. If you look at the form of the letter as a pictogram it depicts a man kneeling in prayer. It is formed by the Hebrew letter “nun” which has the meaning of a servant of God, and a yod, which has the meaning of a hand. And when you pray it is by the hand of your tongue that you take and receive My promises by agreeing with them for your life.

And you will be edified to hear that at the end of a word the tsade (tsadik) has a different form called tsade sofit (ץ) which is the same letter now straight and standing upright with arms raised in praise. In prayer, by faith, he has received the gift of righteousness making him holy, blameless and without reproach before Me. Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through Christ Jesus. Romans 5:17. And here you see another hidden treasure. The tsade (tsadik) is a crowned letter. In Hebrew there are seven letters that have crowns formed from three strokes and tsade is one of them. If you recall, I speak of the crown of righteousness I award to those who love My appearing. And what are described as “crowns” (tagin or ketarim) of the Hebrew letters are formed by three strokes of the pen that are in the form of spikes or nails. Yes, and Jesus was pierced for your transgressions with three nails, one in each hand and one through the feet. He has made you righteous by His death on the cross. And for His work, you receive a crown of righteousness if you love what He has done for you.

So the letter that begins the word righteousness, appropriately signifies righteousness in whatever word it is used. The letter tsade (tsadik) is the eighteenth letter of the Hebrew aleph-bet and its number is 90, signifying the wisdom of old age.

The next letter in the word “righteousness” is a dalet (ד), which is the fourth letter of the Hebrew aleph-bet and it means a “door” and its pictogram is a door. The word for door in Hebrew is the same as the name of the letter. Its number is 4. Jesus is the door. He told you that He is the door for the sheep (those who believe in His Name). John 10:7. He is the only way to Me, there is no other door you can enter to come to My Kingdom but Jesus for any other way you come you are still in your sins and sin will keep you out. And once you have received Him as your Lord, His blood cleanses you of all sin. I impute your sins to Jesus, and I took care of punishing them to death on Him, and I impute to you His righteousness, which is the righteousness of God. I make you righteous in Him with My own righteousness. So the door to righteousness is Jesus and that is the door through which I give it to you as well. I have set before you who believe in His Name an open door that no one can shut. In Him you have access to My Kingdom by My Spirit.

The next letter in the word “righteousness” in Hebrew is the qof (kuf) (ק). Its pictogram is the sun just on the horizon, showing a half circle of the sun just above the horizon line. Does that remind you of something? “But for you who fear My Name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:2 (Malachi 3:20). But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. Proverbs 4:18. The number for qof is 100.

After the qof, reading from right to left, is the letter hei (ה). Which we have already studied in My Name Yahweh (יהוה). It is the open window of grace, the abundance of grace.

For you the Name as set forth by My prophet Jeremiah as the “LORD our righteousness” so the ending of “nu” (נוּ) is ended at the end of the word “righteousness” which means “our.” Possessive terms are attached at the ends of words in Hebrew rather than before them as in many other languages.

The importance of the lesson of this Name is that you understand your righteousness comes from Me, not yourself. This takes a tremendous burden off your shoulders, for Jesus took that burden and bore it for you. You have obtained in Me what you could not attain on your own. When you are in Jesus you are starting your race as a righteous person and the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. Proverbs 4:18. You become children of Light in Jesus and are no longer of the realm of darkness, for the way of the wicked is like darkness; they do not know over what they stumble. Proverbs 4:19. But it is not that way with you who are in Christ for I have rescued you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14. And I have made Him your righteousness.

So now consider the context when I gave this Name to My prophet Jeremiah, the one I called to be a prophet to the nations, not just Israel, and see the accuracy of it. “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘The LORD our righteousness.’” Jeremiah 23:5-6. The shoot, the branch from Jesse’s stem upon whom My Spirit would rest. This is a beautiful prophecy of the Messiah, Jesus. My prophet Zechariah also called Him “the Branch.” Zechariah 3:8.

By My gift of righteousness you can stand in that wonderful position which before Jesus came could only be earned by living a perfect life. You could have worked all eternity for this and never obtained it, but by taking Jesus as your Lord, in that very instant, you became perfectly righteous. And that is why I can bless you now with every spiritual blessing in Heaven in Christ, you stand in the position of the righteous. By this gift I take away all your sins and take you back to the Garden of Eden as if man had never sinned. I take you back to be My child as if you had never left with no dividing wall of sin between us. Your sins and offenses I remember no more. I see in you the same righteousness as I have. You are now a member of the tsadikim—the elite group of the righteous ones—the lot of the saints in light.

For you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. But I, being rich in mercy, because of My great love with which I loved you, even when you were dead in your transgressions, made you alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised you up with Him, and seated you with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come I can show you the surpassing riches of My grace in kindness toward you in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is My gift. And it is not as a result of your works, so that no one may boast. For you are My workmanship, My masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which I prepared beforehand so that you would walk in them and enjoy your life in partnership with Me, who loves YOU beyond all you can ask or imagine. Ephesians 2:1-10. But you can begin to glimpse it as manifested to you in Jesus as the LORD your righteousness. The unfathomable riches of Christ are yours by faith. Just believe Me and agree with Me and ALL good things are yours.

Awake to righteousness. Understand that I have made you righteous. For if you are established in righteousness you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Behold, no weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of My servants BECAUSE YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS FROM ME. Isaiah 54:14-17.

I cleanse you from all your iniquity by which you have sinned against Me, and I pardon all your iniquities by which they have sinned against Me and by which you have transgressed against Me. Your name to Me will be a name of joy, praise and glory before all the nations of the earth which will hear of all the good that I do for you, and they will fear and tremble because of all the good and all the peace that I make for you. And this is what you will be called, “the LORD is my righteousness.” Jeremiah 33:8-9,16.

If you are not dancing and shouting at this moment you did not understand this Life Lesson.

I love you. It is by My doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to you wisdom from Me, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31. Go ahead. Declare how righteous you are before Me in Christ Jesus your Lord, for I have clothed you in the garments of salvation and wrapped you in the robe of righteousness.
