And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were not able to enter because of their lack of faith. Hebrews 3:18-19.
He will not fear evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. His heart is upheld, he will not fear, until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries. Psalm 112:7-8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Faith is the assurance of (title deed to) things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. My Word is truth and I cannot lie. When you come to be fully persuaded that if I said it then it is established forever in Heaven; and since in Christ I have blessed you with EVERY spiritual blessing in Heaven, then by faith, in Christ, it is already in your heavenly account. Which means you can loose it from Heaven to earth just when you need it. And I will open the windows of Heaven and release the Blessing until it overflows.
And today we continue My instructions on how to live by faith with Life Lesson No. 8: Resting in faith. You can be at peace and rest your case when you know you already won and have the Blessing you are seeking. When you seek, you find. And when you know it is already there for you in Christ, you need look no further. No, it is time to enjoy what He won for you, but it is not automatic, it must be spoken and claimed in faith by thanksgiving. You must rebuke the evil and receive the good. And both are done by faith from the rest of being in Me in Christ.
When you know I AM the LORD your healer and that by the stripes of Jesus you WERE healed, then when sickness and/or pain come to attack you, you need not get anxious, fearful, or upset. You can breathe a sigh of relief and rest in My promise. You call on Me, the LORD your healer, to release the healing that has already been paid for by Christ and is in your heavenly account. How do you do this? I tell you: Therefore, since you have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, hold fast your confession of faith. For you do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with your weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as you are, yet without sin. Therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that you may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16.
When I have promised it, it is done, and in Jesus it is yours and the battle is won, so you can rest in that when the trouble comes. Resting in faith comes by knowing My Will. And you can know My Will by reading My Word and looking at the life of Jesus when He became flesh and lived among you. He only said My Words and did the works I showed Him and empowered Him to do. And what did He do? He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil for I was with Him. Acts 10:38. And He is the same yesterday, today and forever, and of course, I AM too, We are one. He healed, He made provision, He forgave, and He blessed. So you can know all those benefits are yours already in Him.
Jesus gave you His peace. And He told you not to let your heart be troubled or afraid, for if you have peace than doubt and unbelief must not be allowed to enter into your thoughts and dwell there. You must rebuke them and know that you have the gift of peace if you care to open it up in your heart.
A true knowledge of Jesus is a knowledge of My Word revealed. And those who walked with Him and knew Him have left testimony for you. And you who have believed in Him by their words have received a like precious faith, by the gift of My righteousness to you in Jesus Christ. And the more you increase in your knowledge of My Word, grace and peace are multiplied to you in ever greater measure as you see that My divine power has granted to you EVERYTHING pertaining to life and godliness. This only comes through the true knowledge of Me and that I have called you by My own glory and excellence. I have granted to you My precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of My divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:1-4.
In My great mercy and love I have caused you to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. In Him, you have obtained an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by My power through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. And when Jesus returns, He will be looking for faith on the earth, but His question was will He find any? If you are double minded about whether I will actually perform My promises in your life, you will put yourself into worry and fear and you will not be able to receive from Me. The Israelites I led out of Egypt blamed Me, Moses, and the giants living in the Promised Land that they did not receive My magnificent promises, but really they only had themselves to blame. By their unbelief, which led to fear, grumbling and complaining, they blocked My good promises from their lives and gave themselves anxious, unhappy, painful lives. This was not My Will but they got what they said and had faith for. They never entered My rest.
If you come to know and believe in the love I have for you, and if you continue in My Word, you will come to the place where you are so sure of My Word and My goodness that nothing can move you off your resting place of faith. For when you know My character and nature, then you are confident that I will never leave you or forsake you but am with you wherever you go and that I will always provide for all you need, whether it be healing, provision, deliverance, protection, direction, correction, or any other good thing. It is then you can start walking free and strong, for you know that I who did not spare My own Son but gave Him up for you, will give you all things with Him. You will know that what the enemy thinks will take you down instead turns out, through the help of My grace to promote you.
My servant Paul said nothing moved him off his connection with Christ. And he knew Me, in whom He had believed, and that I was able to deliver him from all his trials. That he could trust Me to take care of that which I had entrusted to him.
What gave Paul all this confidence? His connection with Me. When you draw close to Me I draw close to you, and if you just keep pressing in and drawing closer, you will find yourself united to Me as one and you will begin to know Me like no one else does. And with Me at your right hand, you will never be dismayed. Let My left hand be under your head and My right hand embrace you. Seek Me and I will deliver you from all your fears. I AM the Most High and when I am with you there is nothing that comes that you cannot overcome with My Word and thanksgiving. Nothing is too wonderful for Me, nothing is too hard for Me, and nothing is impossible with Me. And I am on your side. Everything I have is yours. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom, but you must take it by faith. Know that in all things and all places I am with you to forgive you, heal you, pull you out of the pit and prosper you, surround you with love and compassion, fill your days with goodness to overflowing, renew your youth and to love you beyond all you can ask or imagine. No need to fear, I am with you wherever you go. And I made everything and sustain everything, including you. I will keep what I have entrusted to you.
I love you. You can entrust your life to Me for I am your faithful creator. The more you walk with Me the more of My rest you will enter, until you just walk out of this world into My world. Like Enoch.
