So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:7-10.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Behold, for those of you who have believed in the Name of My Son and acknowledged Him as Lord, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut. Revelation 3:8. And that door is Jesus Himself who opens My Kingdom to you by a new and living way that takes you behind the veil into the very Holy of Holies, the Throne of grace, even now.

And as we continue our series on the unfathomable riches of Christ, God with you, with Life Lesson No. 5, we are on the third “I AM” declaration of Jesus: “I AM the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9.

The “I AM” revelations of Jesus each contain a promise with them. And each one of these seven revelations is foreshadowed in the plan of the tabernacle of Moses. And each of these revelations takes you deeper into the unfathomable riches of Christ. And the revelation that Jesus is the door is no different. He promises that if you enter through the door of Jesus you will be saved and go in and out and find pasture. He also stated that through that door of Jesus is abundant life.

I have placed before you an open door and that door is Jesus and through that door there are many open doors—the door of forgiveness, the door of healing, the door of deliverance, the door of hope, the door of mercy, the door of love, the door of utterance, the door of prosperity, the door of righteousness, the door of favor, the door of glory and the door to abundant life. All My promises are “yes” to you in Jesus. 2 Corinthians 1:20. I have opened all the doors, all the floodgates, of My Kingdom to you once you walk through that first door of Jesus. You can think of it like when the angel led Peter out of prison, each gate opened to another after he passed through the first one out of his cell until he was completely free. And each gate opened by itself as he approached it. Acts 12:10. But he had to approach them.

But, you may ask, why if all these doors are open are there so many people who are living as if these doors to all these good things are closed? It is because Satan has blinded their minds into believing that the open doors are closed and locked. 2 Corinthians 4:4. You do not even approach a door, or attempt to open it, if you believe it is shut tight and locked.

If you call good evil, as the Pharisees called healing on the Sabbath day, you will not attempt to reach for what is good. Many people say illness, poverty and disasters are My Will and “acts of God,” and they accept them or even seek them to please Me, but these things are not My Will. I list these things as curses in Deuteronomy 28:15-68, not blessings, and Jesus redeemed you from the curse by becoming a curse for you, in order that in Him the blessing of Abraham might come to you, so that you would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14. He is the door back to the Eden blessing of abundant life.
And He told you that in the context of His revelation of Himself as the door, “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it ABUNDANTLY.” John 10:7-10.

If you will go through the door of Jesus and do not stop at the Cross, you will come to the Holy of Holies. And it is here that I will show you the foreshadowing of Jesus as the door in the tabernacle of Moses. In the tabernacle plans I gave to Moses there are three doors, each leading you deeper into the mystery of who I AM, which is revealed in Jesus, who is the innermost expression of who I AM (My begotten Word). And Jesus is the door that opens all the doors, but the third door is the one to which He was ultimately referring to as Himself as the door to the abundant life. But even the first door is a door of salvation.

You begin on the east side, the sunrise or beginning of the journey of rebirth, and there is the first door. Once you enter that door, with your unblemished lamb of sacrifice your sins are taken away from you placing them upon the sacrificial lamb of the burnt offering, sin offering, peace offering and guilt offering, which is slain, and its flesh roasted on the bronze altar of sacrifice. But do not stop there but go on to the washing and regeneration of the Word and the renewal of your mind at the laver before the next door.

The next door is the entrance to the inner court that precedes the entrance to the Holy of Holies.
Before entering you are clothed in Christ as a kingdom of priests ministering unto Me. Revelation 1:5-6. The inner court, which represents the Church and the Body of My Son. There you will find the Bread of Life (foreshadowed by the golden table of the bread of the Presence) and the Light of the World (the golden lampstand) with the light of life that enlightens every man, as you too become lamps upon the lampstand with Jesus as your center lamp as you let your light, Christ in you, shine upon the world with Him. And you will partake of the Bread that came down from Heaven that will heal your bodies and strengthen your souls.

And at that point, as you pass the golden altar of incense representing prayer in the cloud of witnesses, you come to the third door, which is the thick veil that leads into the very Holy of Holies. And this door you can only enter if you are in Jesus, your great High Priest, for only the High Priest could enter here in the tabernacle of old. But Jesus as your forerunner has gone behind the veil by a new and living way of the sacrifice of His flesh for your sins and the veil has been torn in two from top to bottom as He hung upon the Altar of the Cross and poured out every drop of His blood for you. And now you are with Him who I raised from the dead, and are seated with Him in heaven, in the Holy of Holies, in My presence at the throne of grace, the mercy seat (the propitiatory) enthroned above the cherubim.

Jesus is the door that opens all doors to the one who comes to Me through Him. Without Him, the door is shut. And when I open a door no one can shut it, and when I shut a door no one can open it. Jesus is the only door, those who try to get in another way are thieves and robbers, John 10:7, and that is why it is a narrow door. And it is voice activated—when you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that I raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10. Not everyone who says to Jesus, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, for no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit is the doorkeeper. John 10:3. And He testifies to Jesus, and you must as well, and He witnesses with your spirit that you are My child and a joint heir of Mine with Christ.

Jesus told you, “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; and He will say, ‘I tell you; I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers.’” Luke 13:24-27.

I want you to understand the greatness of the love that opens to you through the door of Jesus. Through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins. Acts 10:43. Through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is justified and freed from all things, from which you could not be justified and freed through the Law of Moses. Acts 13:38-39. This means to you that once you receive Jesus it is as if you had NEVER sinned. Hebrews 10:17. He took your sins and bore them and accepted the punishment due them in your place. You are freed from them and from all punishment, guilt, and shame due to them. He has presented you holy, blameless, and without reproach before Me. You are pure in My eyes thanks to the Word that you have received.

And it does not stop there. It is written that He also, besides your sins, took and bore ALL your diseases, sicknesses, and pain. These are still in the world and Satan, the thief, will still try to take this from you and give you the sickness and pain, just as he will try to give you the guilt and the shame, but if you know what you have in Jesus, you will refuse to take them, and no matter how long he keeps coming against you with them, or how much pain attacks, if you will keep praising and thanking Me for the healing, for the forgiveness, for the freedom from pain, by faith you will take what is yours from your heavenly account and win the fight and enforce the victory I have given you already in Jesus. Jesus, in this same chapter of the gospel of John where He tells you He is the door, explains that He lays down His life because He chose to, not because anyone took it from Him. As He is so are you in this world, and you should say the same. Do not permit Satan to take your life prematurely, or to slow you up with sickness and pain, refuse to lay it down for him.

That is why Jesus told you to pray that My Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. There is no sickness, disease, poverty, pain, or disasters in Heaven. Revelation 21:3-4. I am love. 1 John 4:16. Love heals, and love blesses. Acts 10:38. And in Jesus, you are in the beloved.

If you believe pain and lack are from Me or if you believe you are not worthy or just that good things are impossible for you to attain because of who you are and your position in the world, then you will not even attempt to open the doors of healing, prosperity, or perfect protection. If you don’t know My Word, you are easily misled and deceived. Jesus rebuked illness, fevers, poverty and storms. He told His disciples to heal the sick, raise the dead, and take authority over all the forces of the enemy. Matthew 10:1-8; Luke 10:9,19. When they asked Him when the storm came up on the lake as they traveled in the boat whether He cared that they were perishing, He rebuked the storm and there was peace. He then asked them where their faith was. Matthew 8:23-27. They did not see the open door of Him sharing His authority with them. But He had. When He sent them out to heal, preach and deliver, He gave them authority to do so. Matthew 10:1. And so He does now to you who believe in His Name. Mark 16:17-18.

And when there was lack, Jesus filled it. He multiplied loaves and fish so that no one went hungry. John 6:1-14. And when He sent His disciples out they lacked nothing. Luke 22:35 (“And He said to them, “When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.”). He came to bring you life and bring it abundantly. John 10:10.

Doors. I set before you an open door that no man or demon can shut. But you have to know that it is open to YOU or you will never even approach it. Come with confidence to My throne of grace, the door is open to you always as Christ ushers you in. Hebrews 4:14-16. Let the light come in, the doors to the Kingdom of Light are open and have shone in your heart. 2 Corinthians 4:4-6. Stop living in the darkness when I am trying to give you so much light. Open wide your heart. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10. With good.

If you think of all My many promises as doors that are open to you in Jesus so that you can open them and receive what is behind each door, you will find your life’s path to be filled with new opportunities and treasures each day. I have opened the floodgates of Heaven and am pouring out a blessing you cannot contain. It will overflow from you to others.

But to go through His open doors you must first open your door to My Son. Jesus stands at the door and knocks, if you hear His voice and open the door, He can come in and dine with you and you with Him. Revelation 3:20. I have called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ your LORD. 1 Corinthians 1:9. And once you are in Him, everything I have is yours. Hebrews 1:2; Romans 8:16-17; Luke 12:32. And He opens to you the door of fellowship with Me.

But if you shut your own door to Jesus, you will never come out of your own prison but wander there is darkness like the Israelites in the desert. The door to the promised land was open to them, but they closed their door to My Word and never even tried to enter My door because they believed it was closed and locked. They limited My goodness from flowing into their lives and did not live My best for them. “Again and again they turned back and tested God, and imposed limits on the Holy One of Israel.” Psalm 78:41

I open doors for you to witness, to speak My Word—doors of utterance. Paul’s mission was to preach the Gospel of grace, and he wrote: “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful, as you pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the Word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.” Colossians 4:3. A door for My Word to go forth. A door in people’s hearts to open to My Word.

Isn’t it time you stopped acting like the door is locked to the good that you are seeking? Look up and you will see an open door to Heaven. Revelation 4:1; John 10:7. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom, will you not receive it? Luke 12:32.

And how do all the doors open to you? By faith. Faith in My goodness. Faith in My promises. Faith in My Word. But it all starts with faith in Jesus, who is My Word. And all these doors open to voice command. For the spirit of faith believes in the heart and speaks with the mouth. Speak My Word, declare My promises, believe and receive, and you will find an open door. But remember that above all that there is one key the doorkeeper looks for, you saying “Jesus is Lord.”

Jesus is the door to everything good in Heaven and on earth. For once you enter by the door of Jesus, you will find the open door to every one of My precious and magnificent promises. Just read your list of benefits in Psalm 103 and open every one of those doors in your life. You will find when you pull on them they are not locked at all, but open.

I love you. When you open the door of Jesus, a vast and glorious vista opens before you where all things are possible for those who believe. It is a wide and open place of healing, prosperity and peace. It is the secret place of Psalm 91 and the highway of holiness of Isaiah 35:8-11. It is the place where all your sins are as if they had never been, where all your pain must depart from you, and where there is no lack. It is the door into Psalm 23. The door you enter through Jesus where you are saved and will go in and out and find pasture. And the next Life Lesson will be on the revelation of Jesus as the Good Shepherd who leads you after you enter the door.
