You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. John 13:13.
But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Instructor, and you are all brothers. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. Do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, that is, the Messiah. But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. Matthew 23:8-12.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I gave you a Teacher and He gave you a Teacher and both of them are with and within you always and both are One with Me. And you can be one with us and in us, but you must be teachable. Come near to Me, listen to this: “From the first I have not spoken in secret, from the time it took place, I was there. And now the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh) has sent Me, and His Spirit. Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being (shalom) would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” Isaiah 48:16-18.
Today’s Life Lesson in My teachings on the unfathomable riches I have put in Christ is called: “Jesus, Your Teacher In Whom are All the Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge.” There is no better Teacher for He is My Word.
Do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Instructor, and you are all brothers. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for I am your Father, I, who am in heaven. Do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, that is, the Messiah. But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. Matthew 23:8-12. Jesus is your Teacher and Lord but He comes to serve you. A teacher is one who enlightens you with the truth, but not only enlightens you but shows you how to profit in every area in your life and leads you in paths of righteousness—leads you in the path I have for your life. And you should not accept anything less. A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the student that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign the members of the household. Matthew10:24-25. You will go with the teacher you pay attention to and follow. You shall go with the master you serve. It is up to you where you end up. Forever.
Jesus is your Teacher, but He told the disciples that He had so much to tell them, but they could not bear it then, so He sent them My promise, the Holy Spirit, another Teacher, who would guide them to all truth, John 16:13, teach them all things, and remind them of all that He said. John 14:26. And He leads you, as does Jesus your good Shepherd. And where do they lead you? Along paths of righteousness for My Name’s sake.
Jesus invited you to His school, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30. And He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no better or more qualified teacher for He knows Me, I have handed all things over to Him and summed up all things in Him, and no one knows the Son but Me, nor does anyone know Me except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Me. Matthew 11:25-27. Jesus is the innermost expression of who I AM. In seeing Him, you are seeing Me. He is the exact representation of My nature and the radiance of My glory. I made all things through Him, with Him, and for Him. In knowing Him, you know Me.
And when you learn from Him what I have done for you in Him, you will begin to take hold of the life you were created to live. And He only says My Words. He will lead you in My Will for your life, that is, My plan for your life. You must stay with My plan to stay with My Blessing and with provision. Jesus said His food was to do My Will and to finish the work I gave Him to do. If you get away from My plan you will not be living in the best for your life. My plan for you is perfect, you should not move into a plan that is not perfect, you are wise to do My Will and you will find My Will in My Word. Jesus is the author and finisher of faith, you must not only start but you must finish the good deeds I have prepared ahead of time that you should walk in them. To veer from My plan is to cut your life short and you will not live in divine health. I did not tell you to say whatever is in your mind but to renew your mind. Jesus, My Word, tells you what to think and what to say. You are to use your mouth to benefit yourself not to tear down your life.
You are My own handiwork, My workmanship, you are Mine and you are My treasure. I made you and My hand is upon you to prosper you, protect you and bless you. You are born again in Jesus that you may do the good works I planned beforehand for you. When you take Jesus as Lord you are saved for good works. You do not get saved by works but after you are saved you have good works to do that I planned for you in advance. Ephesians 2:10.
Before the measurement of time began I authored paths for your life. Before I formed you in your mother’s womb, the plans for your life were all written in My scroll. But it is not automatic, you must take that path, if you don’t take it, the devil will steal it from you. You must not let go of My plan as My Word unfolds it before you. Do not let others or other things pull you off that path, never let ungodly people lead you away from your path into sin. Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:25-27.
Hear, My children, My instruction, the instructions of your Father, and as I told Peter on the Mount of Transfiguration, he was to listen to My beloved Son, for in Him I give you sound teaching. Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! For in Him I have hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and made Him to be wisdom for you. Do not forget nor turn away from the Words of My mouth. Hear and accept My Words, and the years of your life will be many. I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; and if you run, you will not stumble. Proverbs 4:10-12.
Give attention to My Words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put devious speech far from you. Proverbs 4:20-22. Keep your tongue from evil, seek peace and pursue it.
Your manner of living should be different than those who are not saved, those who are not following Jesus. You should be walking in paths of righteousness. But if you veer off My path for your life, I have many paths to lead you back to your path. I help you recalculate your path, if you took an exit from My plan, I give you an entrance to get back on. Be honest when you get off the path, you will see the entrance path but if you refuse to listen and obey you will shipwreck your life and never see the entrance path back onto My path, not because it is not there but because your eyes cannot see it.
If you follow the plan for your life it will be a path of service, that is, of benefit to you and others. But it is a path of gratitude. If you are not thankful for the things I have given you already, you cannot go forward on the path. If you are not grateful for what you have the devil will steal what you have from you. Gratitude is the talk that leads you into healing and prosperity. That is the flow of faith. It is the conversation of faith. Complainers are doubters.
Taking Jesus as your Lord and Teacher is just the beginning, not the end of the life I have planned for you, for that life is planned IN CHRIST. Ephesians 2:10. So now, as you have received Him, so live in Him. And you received Him by hearing My Word about My Son with faith and speaking it out in confession with your lips. You now walk through life in a new way, that is, in a manner consistent with who you are in Christ—in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Jesus has not left you orphans, He is in you and He poured My gift of the Holy Spirit into you, but He also gives you very special gifts, people He has gifted by My Spirit with special anointing to be unto you apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for equipping you for the work of service, building up of the body of Christ. Put your trust in Me, the LORD your God, and you will be established, put your trust in My prophets and succeed. 2 Chronicles 20:20. They open My Word to you so that you see things and understand things in My Word that you otherwise would not see. And I will send you the particular teacher that speaks to your heart more than others do.
But then each of you should grow thereby in the knowledge of Jesus and all I have done for you in Him, so you can walk in victory until you become mature in faith to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. And as a result, you should no longer be as infants tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, you are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. Ephesians 4:1-20. Many of you by now should yourselves be teachers and not forgetful hearers only. It is time to win souls before the end comes and it is too late to work the works I gave you to do.
I love you. Jesus is your Teacher and He has given you the Spirit and the Spirit has endowed and anointed teachers for you in the Body of Christ. Do not think you know more than everyone else, sometimes I even open the mouths of children to teach you things.
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every [m]form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24.
