Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12.

Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

When the devil attacks, fight the good fight of faith. It is a good fight because you already have the victory, Jesus won the victory for you, you have only to enforce it. This is a battle that is fought in the spirit but the victory (or failure to enforce it) manifests in the flesh as well. If you think of it as a court battle, you have the law on your side and the Supreme Judge has already ruled in your favor and judged and condemned the devil. You just have to enforce the judgment so you can collect. Even in the world, winning a court case gives you a judgment but if you don’t enforce it, you will never collect the damages you were awarded. It will be the same as if you had never won.

And today in our series on what to do when Satan attacks our life lesson is “Fight the Good Fight of Faith.”

I walk in faith and so must you to know just what I will do in any situation in any time and nation so you can release it by faith. You know by looking at Me just how and what I see. What am I talking about? To look at Me I mean looking at My Names. I AM, I was, and I always will be your Healer, so to look at Me you see healing as I see. You are not stuck in the pain unless that is all you see, for if you are walking in faith with Me you see healing taking off the pain. I AM, I was, and I always will be your provider, so I do not see lack but gain. And you will see the harvest and what to plant to have it. I told Isaac to sow seed in time of famine, he did and reaped a hundredfold the same year. I AM, I was and I will always be your righteousness, so I see righteousness and truth springing up in the earth in you. I AM, I was and I will always be peace, so I see peace out of strife and you should see that too and release it. I AM, I was and I will always be your Savior, so I see newness of life. I AM, I was, and I will always be your Deliverer, so I see you made free. I AM, I was, and I will always be your Shepherd, so I see you safe in Me.

Please see all things within your life as I see them from Heaven’s height. I have seated you there in Christ so do not be thinking you are alone in life. Do not think you will fight the good fight of faith alone, you have an Advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous one, and He sent you another advocate to be with you and in you always—the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit.

Blessed are you who have not seen but have believed as if you see. That is walking with Me in faith. The righteous shall live by faith. For walking in faith, you will see Me. You cannot see the wind as such but you know it by its movement and power, by the results it causes in traveling its way. And you can feel which direction the wind is blowing even though you do not see it.

Follow the lead of the Holy Spirit by following the wind within your soul for you should be going in the way the wind is flowing. And where does the flow always go? The Holy Spirit guides you to all truth. My Word is truth.

The good fight of faith is refusing to think, say, or do anything contrary to My Word. When you go against My Word it grieves My Spirit, for you no longer see as I see, you do not see the solution but only the problem and the devil can take your victory. Why? Because you are out of the flow, that strong wind from Heaven that came down on the fulfillment of Pentecost after Jesus had taken His seat at My right hand having purged you from your sins and received the promise of the Spirit from Me to pour out richly on you.

You cannot enforce the victory unless you know you have it. And you have it by faith, but faith only comes one way: by hearing and hearing My Word until you have a renewed mind that is resting on the immovable rock of My Word which cannot be shaken. “Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.” Psalm 112:6-8. I am the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. Isaiah 33:6. Honoring Me is your treasure, for I honor those who honor Me. I glorify those who glorify Me.

Once you have renewed your mind with My Word you are full of faith, and this must be renewed daily just as you eat every day and not just once a week to keep your body moving physically, but you must speak and act upon My Word to release your faith so the result will manifest.

When the devil tries to steal or choke the Word in you and unrenew your mind, so to speak, that is, take you back by doubt and unbelief to an unrenewed mindset so that he has aborted your promise, you must check him by speaking the truth of My Word over your life. And he will try to stop your check, so enforce it even more and speak even more of My Word, you must stand your ground and refuse to let him take you captive to return to slavery a second time.

The good fight of faith is simply not being moved off the Word. Paul looked at all the trials that devil was shooting at him and he simply replied, “Nothing moves me.”

The good fight of faith does not wait for the devil to attack before you go into action. The good fight of faith takes the initiative and starts moving across the game board with your King taking his pieces captive. He will try to check you but a lie cannot check the truth if you will stand on it. Enforce the Word before he attacks. Take the initiative before he advances by taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, that is, to obedience to My Word and to the truth of all that Christ did for you in His obedience by emptying Himself and receiving all your sins and dying for them to make you holy, blameless and without reproach—far from oppression and lies.

In taking up My full armor I tell you to do so by praying IN THE SPIRIT at all times. This will enforce My Word in you for My Spirit guides you to all truth. Release the flow by praying in tongues.

Take the initiative each day by praying before you go out for perfect protection, not to enter into temptation, and asking for wisdom. And keep alert in thanksgiving.

The devil is seeking people who are easy prey to he can take all the pieces of their life and take them captive to do his will in the earth. Who are those that are easy prey? THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HONOR ME, which means they do not have an interest in or give any value to My Words. They are the ones you hear so often on the news and even in your workplace and in your family that speak of Me critically. They question what happens in the world, and I do not mean in a respectful way but in a way that is derogatory about My goodness. To say that I am the cause of evil things that happen in the world such as accidents, storms, pain, illness, and other evil deeds, or that they must have been My Will to cause such devastation and sorrow, is to BLASPHEME THE HOLY SPIRIT. For My Word says that I AM your healer, that I heal all your diseases, that I give you long satisfying life, and that by His stripes you are healed are SPIRIT BREATHED. As are all My magnificent and precious promises in Christ. Be careful you are not speaking against My Word and saying I caused things by My mysterious Will or that just because you have not enforced your healing that I want you sick, for you know what I say about sinning against the Holy Spirit.

To love and honor Me is to believe and enforce My Word in your life no matter how contrary what Satan is doing appears. My Word, store in your heart and released by your mouth can change it. Why? You speak, I fight for you with My power to back it up. And that really is why I call it the “good” fight of faith. Taste and see My goodness when you honor and enforce My Word. My glory will show up.

Jesus answered the question about accidents and evil deeds for you, and you would be wise to heed and do what he tells you the solution is to being overcome by the devil’s tactics so he takes you out of the game. “Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. And Jesus said to them, ‘Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate? I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem? I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:1-5.

Let Me explain by showing you what is being said here in the language in which it was first written, which is Greek. Jesus said unless you “repent,” you will likewise “perish.” The word that is translated repent is the Greek word “metanoéō (μετανοέω)” which is from metá, meaning “changed after being with” and noiéō, meaning “think” – properly, “think differently after,” “after a change of mind”; to change one’s mind and purpose. Do you see you have to spend time with My Word to think differently? As Jesus told you “be careful what you hear,” and that the amount of diligence you apply to renew your mind with My Word is the amount of harvest you will have. You are transformed by the renewal of your mind.

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:14-15. And the word “repent” there is again the word, “metanoeó,” to change one’s mind or purpose. And Jesus tells you how to change your mind and purpose here—have faith in the good news of Jesus, My Word made flesh.

Otherwise you will walk right into the devil’s traps and never listen to the warning of the Spirit, you will not have My armor on, you will not have prayed for protection and not to be put to the test when you first arose that day, and you will not be on the lookout for his traps. And you will be destroyed. And that is the word translated “perish,” in that Scripture passage, i.e., unless you “repent,” you will likewise “perish.” It is the word apóllymi, which is from apó, “away from,” which intensifies ollymi, “to destroy” – properly, fully destroy, cutting off entirely implying permanent (absolute) destruction, i.e. to cancel out (remove); “to die, with the implication of ruin and destruction”; cause to be lost (utterly perish) by experiencing a miserable end.

You have to understand, as I warned you by My Spirit in the letters of Paul, the world is a perilous place for the devil is still roaming. My Son has not taken the scroll to break open the seals of the title deed to retake the earth quite yet.

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also.” 2 Timothy 3:1-9.

This is a picture of those with unrenewed minds. They did not value My Word enough to seek it and do not believe it has the power to save them. They did not repent and believe in the news of My goodness as manifested and explained before you in Christ. Instead, they accuse Me of doing what are actually the works of the devil and that is the unpardonable sin. Saying I am of an unclean spirit.

And Jesus told the crowd questioning about the falling tower and the evil deeds of Herod a parable that explains what went on, “A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ And he answered and said to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’” Luke 13:6-9.

“Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:21. For “if anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless.” James 1:26. The devil is watching your words, why don’t you? People that don’t watch their words are easy prey for him.

The good fight of faith is to constantly be guarding your hearts and minds from accepting anything contrary to My Word to be your meditation and to be speaking the truth in love. Love of Me and love of your neighbor and yourself. The best thing you can do in any situation, time or season is HEAR AND SPEAK AND DO MY WORD. Then, as I told Joshua, YOU shall make your way prosperous and have good success.

Watch your words. Death and life are in the power (hand) of your tongue and you will eat the fruit of your lips. And that forever.

I love you, never put down My armor that I give you, which is clothing yourself in My Word and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and releasing your faith through speaking the Sword of the Spirit, which is My Word.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
