Then he died in a ripe old age, full of days, riches and honor; and his son Solomon reigned in his place. 1 Chronicles 29:28.
So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. Genesis 5:23-24.
But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 2 Peter 3:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Your life is made up of days. Each day is like its own little life, its own world. Do not be counting off days, BE ADDING UP DAYS, good days, so that you die full of days of good that are rewarded for eternity. Each day is another opportunity to walk in Heaven on earth, a day to spend in a wonderful way, faithful in the littlest to the greatest things that come your way and that you seek and bring in that day. Each morning My mercies are new.
And the good news is that if you have wasted and squandered days in idle, or even worse, sinful pursuits, you still have time to gain reward as long as you live. How is that if you have wasted a good part of your days on earth? A day is as a thousand years in My sight and a thousand years as a day. Think of all you can gain every day that you spend in My service, employing the talents I gave you as a good steward. Start now living your assignment, which, simply put, means it is time to start living days of Heaven upon the earth. Wake up sleeper and Christ will give you light! And that is today’s Life Lesson in bringing your life into the flow of Heaven while still on earth: “Fullness of Days.”
You will notice when I speak of the lives of the early descendants of Adam I describe their lives by days. “So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.” Genesis 5:5. “So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.” Genesis 5:8. “So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.” Genesis 5:11. And so on it goes until you come to the descendant named Enoch and he is the only one I tell you walked his life out with Me, “So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Genesis 5:23-24. It makes a difference who you walk out the days of your life with and how you walk. Make it one everlasting continuum where you stay so close to Me that in seeing you, like with Jesus, people are seeing Me in action in the world. And you know Me so well that you just walk from your days on earth, when they are full, to the PERFECT DAY of eternity that never sets with Me. But make sure you are full of good days when you come, like Abraham who was fully satisfied when he left this life to enter what Jesus called “Abraham’s bosom” until the day My Son would open those ancient gates of Heaven and welcome you into My Kingdom, and David who died full of days, riches and honor.
I look at each day of your life and count every day as important and, if lived well, worthy of reward. Be careful how you live. Reckon your days aright that you may gain wisdom of heart.
Think of each morning as the sun comes up as being born anew. And then as the day becomes brighter and brighter you reach the perfection of fullness of the day. And then as the afternoon fades into evening and the sun sets so that the night comes in, think of the night as you lie down to sleep like falling asleep in My arms and awakening in My presence, the ending of that day, and your sleep with be sweet if you have lived the day in My presence. And one day, like My friend Enoch who walked each day with Me, your days will be full and you will walk with Me right over into the endless day of My Kingdom. Absent from the body present with Me.
Jesus makes your days meritorious. Before you had Jesus you were dead in your sins and trespasses, and were without Me and without hope in the world, destined for judgment and My just wrath. But I see your innermost thoughts, and those who long for more, I show them Jesus, My Salvation. I so loved the world that I gave My only begotten Son that no one who believes in Him shall perish but have eternal life. He is coming again to raise your bodies from mortality to immortality forever in the perfection of the beauty of holiness and may He find you busy about Kingdom business on the earth when He comes. He will sit you down at the wedding feast in Heaven and wait upon you.
Jesus told you that you would do the works He did and greater. That means as He lived so should you.
“By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.” 1 John 2:5-6.
How did Jesus walk, that is, live each day of His sojourn on earth? His days were full of miracles of compassion for those who came to Him. He called it doing the works I showed Him, and I showed Him MIRACLES. A life full of days of speaking My Words, stepping aside to pray, doing My works and full of miracles. And that is days of Heaven on earth.
How did He describe His days? And He answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the gospel preached to them.” Luke 7:22.
“And large crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and many others, and they laid them down at His feet; and He healed them. So the crowd marveled as they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, and the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.” Matthew15:30-31.
It is true that was Jesus who was filled with My Spirit and lived a sinless, perfect life on earth, but at the Passover meal before He died for you, He promised you, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” John 14:12-17.
And the early Christian community proved this true. They were people like you but Peter, Paul, Stephen, Philip, and I could name many more went out and did miracles. The sick were healed, even if Peter’s shadow fell upon them or cloths touched to Paul were laid on them, demons were cast out, people were raised from the dead, and the crippled were made whole to walk and run and even jump. They were filled with faith and the Holy Spirit. They loved Jesus. They loved Me. They were full of gratitude. “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer . . . praising God and having favor with all the people.” Acts 2:42-47.
What is the secret for each day to live it to its fullest and end your life FULL of days of Heaven on earth? First, believe in Jesus for He is the only way, the only door, to the Kingdom. You cannot access it, enter it, or even see it unless you are a new creation in Christ by confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart I raised Him from the dead with all your sins gone and having fully justified you before Me, making you righteous with My own righteousness. Once you have done that you are beginning each day in the radiant dawn of the Sun of Righteousness.
“For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear My Name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall. You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 4:1-3.
Each morning starts with the joy of healing and freedom, going forth in My light skipping about like calves from the stall, treading on all the forces of the devil and his demons as ashes under the soles of your feet, for each day I have prepared for you in advance to live the life of good deeds I planned for you in Christ Jesus that you would walk in them.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10.
Begin your day in worship, fellowship, spirit songs, and inquiry as to your day with Me. In other words, be sure you get into the Spirit and not just your flesh when you arise. That will set the tone for your day.
And so your day proceeds, making the most of your time, looking for opportunities to serve Me in My people but also to lift up your heart to receive My love and goodness in worship throughout your day. Sanctify Me in your heart, making melody to Me and doing all you do for Me and not just to please men.
Draw close to Me and I draw close to you. My delight is to dwell with you. But I cannot dwell in a place filled with anger and strife, for every evil work comes in that atmosphere. I dwell in the praises, the worship, the songs, prayers filled with My Words and promises, just as I do in Heaven, for the is the atmosphere of oneness in purpose, prayer, worship, and action there. I do not dwell in fighting, complaining, bitterness, anger, immorality, and dishonor. I honor those who honor Me. And how do I honor them? With My presence, My power, delegation of authority, promotion, protection, blessing, and miracles. If you are faithful in little things during your day I entrust you with greater and greater things. Promotion. And if you will stay within My Word, I can protect you mightily and can lead you in the way you should go to profit and be fruitful. Abiding in My Son, that is, remaining in His Word and His Word remaining in you, you will bear much fruit and receive whatever you ask, for our hearts then are one.
Nothing is impossible for Me, all is easy, and all things are possible for those who trust and believe that. You can have days FULL of miracles. And those are days of Heaven upon the earth. As you walk out your life with Me just as Jesus did.
In Heaven the light never dims for My glory is its light and its lamp is the Lamb. In Heaven it is forever PERFECT DAY. There is no time as you know it now but a continuum of love and light. Perfect day that never sets or finishes but ever increases in beauty, blessing, joy, love, peace, and territory. I make all things new. And that will continue for eternity. Nothing gets old. Nothing ever gets boring. Nothing is monotonous and nothing gets broken, rusts, corroded, or corrupts. Why? There is no curse in My Kingdom and there will no longer be any curse on earth after I make all things new with new heavens and a new earth.
I love you. Keep one eye on earth and one eye on Heaven and the two then will focus perfectly into one image together. YOUR LIFE IS MADE UP OF DAYS, do not lose one of them but make each one count as a life in itself. And then one day you can add them all up with Me in My presence and I will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your LORD.” Matthew 25:21. Remember a day to Me is a thousand years and a thousand years are as a day. Would that I will find you doing good when I return so I can reward you in full for every day of your life.
I have led you all your life. You have walked with Me in joy and strife, but in Me all is peace profound no matter what is all around. Do not swerve from where I take you each day. And never cease to pray, for that is the place of answers. Love is the answer to all in your life. Love is the answer that will give you life. Love is the answer no matter what the question is for love never harms the neighbor but leads him to truth and salvation. Love shows you how to live like Me, for I am Love. Love will lead you to Me. Without love your days mean nothing for without Me you can do nothing.
