But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak. 2 Corinthians 4:13.
“And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released (luo, meaning loose, untie, release) from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
If you are willing and obedient you shall have the good of the land. Days of Heaven on earth. In each Life Lesson as we look at the miracles done by Jesus while He lived as one with you on earth have you noticed that when He knew My Will from My Word such as for healing, forgiveness, cleansing, and provision, that He did not pray about it to Me. He commanded the thing that was contrary to go (such as pain or illness) and what remained to get in line with My Word (such as the part of your body that had been giving you the problem). He also often told the person to do a corresponding action, such as to stretch out their hand or get up and walk.
He did not beg Me to take away the fever of Peter’s mother in law if it was My Will, no, He knew My Will was to heal so He rebuked it and then took her by the hand and got her up healed and whole. If you have a fever or someone in your care does, do you first speak to the fever? Or do you beg Me to take it away? Then you still do not know Me. In seeing Jesus you see Me.
Jesus spoke to deaf ears, “Be opened!” He spoke to blind eyes: “Receive your sight.” He spoke to those bound over who could not straighten up, “Be loosed!” And thus cast out the spirit of infirmity. He rebuked storm winds and waves, “Be quiet. Be still!” He spoke to withered hands to stretch out restored.
Have you got infirmities, pains, symptoms, diseases—stop crying, begging, and thinking I am punishing you and lay your hands on them and tell them just what to do to line up, to restore, to be strong, to be free in Jesus’ Name. Learn from Jesus, your Teacher, and do as He told you to do. Rebuke pain, symptoms, disease and infirmities and speak to the part, commanding it what to do to be healed and free in Jesus’s Name. Do not think that sounds strange, look back at all the miracles of Jesus and you will see this is so. Every disciple should become like his teacher.
Jesus told you, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” John 14:9-15.
Jesus commanded storms and trees, and He told you not only to do likewise but also to even command mountains. He told the bent over woman to be loosed and she was. He commanded the man by the Pool of Bethesda to get up and pick up his mat and he did. He told the man with the withered hand to stretch out his hand and as he did it was completely restored. He told the blind men to receive their sight and they did. He told the centurion to go home for it had been done for him as he had believed, just as he had spoken it. Same with Jairus, it was done as he had spoken with faith. He told the leper, “Be cleansed!”
None of that is prayer, He is speaking to the situation. Jesus prayed more than any of you but He ministered by faith commands. He knew Me from His prayer and the Word. And what He knew He commanded to be as I had made it to be.
Jesus spoke to wind and waves, to death, to leprosy, to trees. Everything was created by My Words, everything was brought into existence by words and will change by words. Jesus answered the fig tree that it would never bear more fruit.
Do a lot of praying, I tell you to pray without ceasing but you must also do what I tell you to move the things contrary to My Will. There is a time to pray and a time to say. There is a time to speak to the problem and not just to Me or others about it. Faith is believing in your heart and SPEAKING with YOUR mouth. Do not be begging Me to do your rebuking for you. Submit to Me (that is, to My Words), YOU resist the devil, and he must flee from you.
And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.” Mark 11:2225.
Jesus was among you as one of you on earth for a short time and showed you what to do to bring days of Heaven to earth. And then He died and I raised Him up to make these things freely available to you. If you believe in Him, you will do the works He did and greater because He has come to Me, but the servant is not greater than His master, and He worked miracles by speaking to the problem. Be gone, be healed, be free. You must do the same, I do not carve out an exception to spiritual laws for you.
You are to do the works He did and greater. How did He make the works I gave Him to do happen?
He spoke to things. That was His way of taking care of things contrary to My promises.
Jesus did not pray for Me to do things I had already done and told you were yours.
He did pray that I would let the cup of My wrath for all sins pass Him by if possible, but when it was not possible, for only He could offer an eternal life in the flesh for the life which Adam murdered and lost in himself and all his descendants, He accepted My Will in the matter and took all your sins into Himself.
But with respect to healing or providing for others, He commanded directly to the thing to be moved, healed, restored, replaced, or multiplied. Many of you think I have not answered your heartfelt prayers to heal you but that is not the way the law of faith works and I will not violate it. Once you know I have freely given you something in Christ, it is time for you to join with Me and command whatever is holding it away from you to get out of the way.
If you have been diagnosed with a disease, have a missing part of your body, lack finances, or have a painful condition in your body, HAVE YOU SPOKEN TO IT? HAVE YOU SPOKEN TO WHAT IS BROKEN IN YOUR BODY OR LIFE AND TOLD IT JUST WHAT TO DO TO BE WHOLE? If not, you are not willing and obedient. YOU ARE TO DO THE WORKS JESUS DID AND GREATER. That means you are to do them as He did. And He never begged for things He knew were My Will. He spoke those into being with authority. For when you pray and say according to My Will, you know I have heard you, and when I hear you then you know that what you ask for is yours.
Praying can be saying. “Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “O sun, stand still at Gibeon, and O moon in the valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped,
Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. There was no day like that before it or after it, when the LORD listened to the voice of a man; for the LORD fought for Israel.” Joshua 10:12-14.
And Joshua knew he was doing My Will, for I sent him to lead My people and take possession of the land I had promised to give them to My friend Abraham. And I told him I would send My angel to drive out the enemy. I would fight their battles with them and for them. He was sure I was with him to give My people the victory, so whatever needed to be done, he could count on Me.
I tell you that you will do the works Jesus did and greater. Jesus was an overcomer. And if you want days of Heaven on earth you must be also. “He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:21.
To be healed, first you must have faith that I am your healer. I have told you that is one of My covenant Names and have promised you healing from all your diseases and pains.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing My Word on what it is you are seeking. And then you are ready not to beg but to assured of My power backing you when you command using the authority Jesus gave to you who are His Body on earth. He gave you authority to use His Name to cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and preach the good news of the Kingdom! Greater is He who lives in you than he who is in the world.
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
So let us look at another miracle of Jesus that is only in the Gospel of Luke and watch Jesus showing you what to do.
And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. Luke 13:10. Here He is not out on the hillsides or up in the region of Tyre and Sidon among unbelievers. He has gathered with people who know My Word and have faith in Me. People who have come to honor Me on Shabbat. And Jesus has come to honor Me as well and keep My commandments. But even here, one of My people was oppressed by Satan, and she had put up with it for a long time. And none of the religious leaders had been able to set her free. But things were about to change.
There was a woman who for eighteen years had had a sickness caused by a spirit; and she was bent double, and could not straighten up at all. Luke 13:11. Luke was a physician and he has diagnosed the cause of this, indeed of all sickness, correctly, it was a demon spirit. When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed (apolýō, which is from apó, meaning “away from” and luō, meaning “to loose, untie, release”) (this word is used for divorce as well, Matthew 1:19, 5:31,32, 19:7-9) from your sickness (astheneia: weakness, frailty).” Luke 13:12. Jesus loosed her from Satan’s binding. What you loose on earth shall have been loosed in Heaven. So Jesus cast out the demon of infirmity and then He laid His hands on her; and immediately she was made erect again and began glorifying God. Luke 13:13. So you see the rebuking and releasing and then the healing to restore what the damaged body part.
But the synagogue official, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, began saying to the crowd in response, “There are six days in which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” Luke 13:14. But Jesus answered him and said, “You hypocrites, does not each of you on the Sabbath untie (luo, meaning loose, untie, release) his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead him away to water him? And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released (luo, meaning loose, untie, release) from this bond on the Sabbath day?” As He said this, all His opponents were being humiliated; and the entire crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things being done by Him. Luke 13:15-17.
Jesus showed you very clearly where all sickness, pain, disability, and infirmity come from. Not Me. If it was from Me, He would not have cast it out and healed her. “And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released (luo, meaning loose, untie, release) from this bond on the Sabbath day?” She had submitted to the oppression of Satan for eighteen years and no one had ever cast him out. Do not be guilty of the same. Speak to things that are contrary to My Will and get them out. Do the works Jesus did in His Name. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. How did He do that? The same way that you can, “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38. I was with Him and I anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power. And the same is true of you who are in Christ Jesus today. You have the same anointing and the same Spirit and you have Him, Christ in you, your hope of glory. And whatever you demand of things in His Name, He will bring it to pass. And so will I. Jesus promised you this, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.” John 16:23-24.
I love you. If you are willing and obey you shall have days of Heaven upon the earth. You have to command what is contrary to My Will or it will stay.
