O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalm 34:8.
Good and upright is the LORD, therefore He instructs sinners in the Way. Psalm 25:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Taste and see My goodness. To see with your heart you must believe in My goodness. Anything that questions and causes doubt to you of My goodness is a lie. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind; has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19.
Read My promises to you, you see them in My Covenant Names, they are all for your good—the LORD your healer, the LORD who sees ahead and provides, the LORD your righteousness, the LORD your Shepherd, the LORD your peace, the LORD is there, the LORD your redeemer, the LORD your sanctifier, the LORD your refuge, the LORD your fortress, the LORD your helper, the LORD of hosts, the LORD your strength, the LORD your victory, and there are many more all for you who believe in My Name.
Love others but do not listen to them if they are speaking doubts about My goodness. They believe lies and have for years. It has ruined their lives and destroyed their destinies. Lead them to the truth. Never involve yourself in initiating or being led into conversations with those who malign Me. Sadly, they are totally misled, but I see their hearts and many truly want goodness. I will lead them into it and I will heal them. “Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He instructs sinners in the Way.” Psalm 25:8. You can be a shining light to them for you know the Way, the Truth, and the Life, but be very careful they do not insert doubts into your heart that can disturb your faith in My goodness. They will yet find their path to Me and will be overcomers and champions of faith if you offer them My Light. It is My love that will change them, rearrange them, and bring them to glory. Pray for hearts to open, eyes to see, and ears to hear. There is a line I repeat many times in the Bible, in the Old and the New Testaments, and I repeat it for a reason, “For the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them.” Matthew 13:15; Isaiah 6:10; Acts 28:27. If you are not experiencing My healing and My goodness this Scripture should catch your attention. You need a tune up in My goodness.
“Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when good comes.” Jeremiah 17:5-6. Without faith it is impossible to please Me, for he who comes to Me must believe that I AM and that I AM a rewarder of those who seek Me, that is, that My plans are for your good and not for evil. Hebrews 6:11; Jeremiah 29:11. Those who seek Me want for no good thing. Psalm 34:10. But you will not see the good when it comes, even if it is right before you, even at your door, if you are not expecting it and believing in the truth of My goodness. Then you will not even open your door a crack though I am knocking to fill you with My goodness. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8.
It takes faith and patience. Keep pressing into My goodness. “Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:35-38. Why? Because I cannot overwhelm you with My goodness when you draw back and do not press in to receive it. I told Moses to tell the people to go forward and not shrink back to slavery in Egypt though it looked impossible to do anything with the sea in front of them and certain captivity or death pursuing them. It looked like they might as well surrender and submit to evil. But I had promised them everything good. And when they went forward I made the path and they had the way to My goodness. It was there all the time; they just did not see it while they yelled I had brought them there to do evil to them and did not look for the good that was before them.
Do not listen to the lies of those, even who are believers, who tell you all things are in accordance with My Will so if a disaster, sickness, or other evil befalls someone I willed it. THAT IS A LIE FROM HELL ITSELF. There is none of that in Heaven where My Will is done and there was none of that in you or in any of My creation when I made it by My Word. Read the beginning of the creation of the world and you will see I did not complete each day’s work of creation until it passed inspection as good. And on the sixth day when I finished the work of creation and had put everything needed in the earth for all times and ages, I judge it all VERY good. And so it was. But it has been corrupted by sin which causes fear and all kinds of evil behavior. The wages of sin is death; and the fear of death, that is, of destruction and pain, is behind every spirit of fear that enters the heart of man. But Jesus, by the goodness of My grace, came and tasted death for you so that you never have to taste its bitter dust, Hebrews 2:9, and through His death rendered powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, so that He might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.
Do accept lies but conquer with the truth. The truth will set you free to receive and walk in My goodness at all times. KNOW THIS TRUTH FIRST OF ALL AND STAY WITH IT: I AM GOOD. Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes from Me, and I AM LOVE and I AM LIGHT. There is no darkness in Me or variation between good and evil. I have zero tolerance for evil and there is none in Me. If it is not good it does not come from Me. “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20. Never agree with anyone that something of the curse (sickness, pain, deformity, poverty, lack, eternal death) is from Me or is My will for a person to tolerate. “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” James 1:16-17.
And even taking on flesh and living as one of you, emptying Himself of His power as God, My Son allowed no evil to enter His heart, Satan had no place in Him. He never doubted My goodness, even faced with sin, sickness, disease and death. He told you He must do My Works, which were to UNDO the works of the devil, so He went about doing GOOD and healing all those who were oppressed by the DEVIL. Acts 10:38. Not Me, the devil.
He told you that NONE is good but God alone. I am pure, untainted goodness through and through. But in Jesus, if you will abide in Him and My Word remains in you, you become as He is in this world. Good. “And My people will be filled to overflowing with My goodness, declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 31:14. You can be filled with all My fullness when you know, believe, and walk in the love I have for you, “and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19. And what is My fullness? Goodness. My glory is My goodness, My presence, and My power. And I tell you that the knowledge of My glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. The living water Jesus gives you, My Spirit, the anointing that destroys the yoke of the evil one and lifts the burden. Step into the flood of My goodness that is waiting to rush in if you just open your door to My love.
I am perfect and I want every one of you to be perfect like Me. “Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” I made you that way in My image and according to My likeness. You are made according to My kind. “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24. You can have goodness. You can be filled with My goodness. Goodness and lovingkindness are pursuing you all the days of your life. Let Me anoint your head and fill your cup till it overflows. That is My desire. Goodness loves to share what is good.
Never shut your heart to Me because of what others tell you happened to them or others which questions My goodness. Never shut your heart to Me because those you live or work with malign Me or say I did evil things. I do not. All can partake of My goodness if they will only open their hearts to Me. All can have perfection, if they will come and take correction and direction. Like David you can sing, “Make me know Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day. Remember, O LORD, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, for they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your lovingkindness remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.” Psalm 25:4-7. And his conclusion? “Who is the man who honors the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in GOOD, and his descendants will inherit the land. The secret of the LORD is for those who revere Him, and He will make them know His covenant. My eyes are continually toward the LORD for He will pluck my feet out of the net.” Psalm 25:12-15. Free to enjoy a good life. I honor those who honor Me. Honor Me by believing that I am good and no evil is from Me. And what does that tell you? Resist evil. How? “Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who is the man who desires life and loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:11-14.
If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Remember Joseph, son of Jacob? His brothers sold him into slavery, but I turned it around for him to a good result. And what did he tell his brothers when they showed up seeking his help? “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.” Genesis 50:20. He refused to ever question My goodness by the evil that was done to him, even that finally unjustly put him in prison and it looked in the natural that there was no way out. And by believing the truth, it set him free to a place far beyond all he could ask or imagine. “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21. I make all things work together for GOOD for those who love Me and are called according to My purpose. Romans 8:28.
My goodness is shining down like the sun and showering down like the early and the latter rains that bring the harvest, but if not believed and received it goes unnoticed and you do not take it in. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11.
The manna rained down on the dewfall every morning before the sun rose but the people had to look for it and gather it or it did them no good. They would have starved, but instead they were very well fed and very healthy. They had to gather it, take it home, prepare it and eat it. It was there every day for free for all but only those who sought it and gathered it and ate it benefitted. Do you understand? The blessings you are praying are already falling all around you but it is up to you to see them, gather them, and eat them so you can live them.
I love you. Grow in My goodness. Know that I am good and do not allow what another is experiencing to color your perspective of Me. Even if 10,000 fall at your right hand it will not come near you if you will know and believe in My goodness and never waiver.
