“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” Matthew 6:1.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

To understand the teachings of Jesus, who is My Word made flesh teaching you in person, face to face as I taught Moses, in the Sermon on the Mount, and indeed all His teachings and parables, you must look beyond mere flesh, that is, physical circumstances, and see with your heart, that is, spiritual realities. That is why He said many who heard His teachings would see without seeing, and hear without hearing, for they had dull ears and sluggish hearts to things of the spirit, and not just dull, but hard and deaf. You must be like Daniel, he noticed things in My Word and he prayed and asked questions and I would show him things in the Spirit and he would look and look and just keep looking till he pulled up the treasure from the deep well of the Spirit. Daniel 7:13. That is meditating on My Word and pondering it in your heart until it becomes a revelation to you and transforms your mind. Daniel was very different than the other government officials and Nebuchadnezzar, the king, acknowledged that when he said to Daniel, “Surely your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, since you have been able to reveal this mystery.” Daniel 2:47. And what did Jesus tell you who are His disciples, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.” Matthew 13:11. You are stewards of My mysteries for these endtimes. 1 Corinthians 4:1.

And these mysteries are drawn out in the Spirit, “For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries.” 1 Corinthians 14:2. With joy you will draw water from the springs of Salvation (Yeshuah, Jesus). Isaiah 12:3. Prayer is a time of joy; I bring you to My holy mountain and make you joyful in My house of prayer.

When I sent My angel Raphael to Tobit and his son, Tobiah, when Raphael had accomplished what I sent him to do, he declared to Tobit and Tobiah, “Bless God and give him thanks before all the living for the good things he has done for you, by blessing and extolling his name in song. Proclaim before all with due honor the deeds of God, and do not be slack in thanking him. A king’s secret should be kept secret, but one must declare the works of God and give thanks with due honor. Do good, and evil will not overtake you.” Tobit 12:6-7.

And this all has to do with today’s life lesson from the next passage in the Sermon on the Mount, “Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:1-6.

Jesus already instructed you to let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify Me, your Father, who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16. And now He tells you to keep what you are doing private to Me. Why the difference? It is a difference in the motive of your heart.

It is about what you do for My glory and what you do for your own glory. It is about why you give, why you pray, and why you do righteous acts, if they are for Me, you do not care if no one knows you have done these things. If you are an employee in a business, do your job assignment with excellence in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; not just when you are being watched by a supervisor, but as if you were working for Me, doing My Will from the heart. Jacob’s son, Joseph, was like that whether he working as a slave for Potiphar, as a prisoner serving the jailer, or as the highest official in Egypt under no one but Pharaoh, who gave him free reign to handle his assignment. With good will render service, as to Me, and not to men, knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from Me, whether slave or free. Ephesians 6:5-8. Keep your eyes on Me, seek My Kingdom first and the glory will follow. “If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me.” John 8:54.

The believers in Corinth gave to the believers in Jerusalem a large donation to help them through a famine that was foretold by the prophets in the church. They gave this in gratitude for the Word that had come to them from the believers in Jerusalem that had changed their lives so radically and out of love for Me in all I had given and done for them in Jesus. They asked to give and they gave with joy. And even though the believers in Jerusalem did not know individually most of those who had given for their aid, their gratitude and thanksgiving was made to Me. “For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the believers, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all, while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:12-15. And what did My servant Paul say about the task of collecting this offering? That they had been entrusted to serve “in this gracious work, which is being administered by us for the glory of the Lord Himself.” 2 Corinthians 8:19.

Because of good works I gave Jesus to do, His fame for healing and multiplying provision spread throughout the land, bringing crowds to Him to hear His teachings and be healed. But He did nothing for show, He did it out of compassion for the people and love for Me. He only did the works I showed Him and said the Words I told Him to speak. He refused to receive glory from men and did not seek it for Himself, He sought only My glory. John 5:41.

Jesus only spoke My Words because He knew those were the only Words that gave life, eternal life. He explained, “He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” John 7:18.

And how did He do that? Let Him tell you in His prayer to Me the night before He finished His mission on earth, “I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.” John 17:4. And that is how you will do it too, by walking out the life of good deeds I prepared for you in Christ Jesus in advance. Ephesians 2:10. And doing these you will not be able to escape notice, like Jesus. Mark 7:24.

David was just a young lad that no one knew about and his father considered him not important enough to bring to Samuel’s feast for him and his sons, and yet when he gave Me glory by taking down Goliath, all Israel knew what he had done and gave Me the glory. He attributed the battle to Me and not to himself.

If you do things only to be noticed and to receive the glory of men and have not love, they mean nothing. If you seek only the reward of worldly honor, it is quick to change. The crowd glorified Jesus on Palm Sunday and they were yelling to crucify Him and release Barabbas instead of Him by Friday. But His reward with Me did not change. I glorified His Name above every other Name, Philippians 2:9-11, and seated Him with Me on My throne. Revelation 3:21.

You choose the flow that your life is going to be in. You can be in My glory flow or you can be in the world’s flow, which is the flesh flow and the devil’s flow. If you get into the flow of seeking your own glory and fame in the world, it is a flow of that focusses your attention upon yourself and your appearance to the world, an outside veneer to keep up, and a rat race of activity to hold your position above others who are also seeking to be the one in limelight of the world. It will be a flow of selfish ambition to take things away from others to add to yourself and to keep others from taking what you have made to be your stronghold—like the Pharisees feared from Jesus as He was holding the praises of the people that had been theirs alone. But they had no joy in seeking to keep their position that they decided Jesus was threatening.

Seeking worldly glory is not the flow of Heaven. The flow of Heaven is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The flow of Heaven is love for others. The flow of Heaven is freedom from concern with self and a focus on the true glory that is forever. The glory which I have given you. It is the flow that lets you run your race with joy.

Joy is the conductor of strength. Rejoice always—and strength will get into all those places where you are weak. Jesus wants you to have glory and see the glory NOW, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:22-24.

I have authored a plan for your life, it is not a plan for hardship or suffering, it is a joy—a plan for your shalom and NOT evil, to give you future and a hope, it does not rob you of glory but gives you the glory that is forever. My yoke is easy and light. Don’t get yoked up with the world, I tell you not to yoke your life with unbelievers. Light and darkness have no common ground. The anointing of joy breaks the yoke and lifts the burden of seeking the world’s glory to the beauty of living a life of heavenly glory. Let Me see to your glory by the glory you give Me with your life—showing forth My goodness, My presence and My power, not to impress others but to love others. People do not need you to impress them with your glory but to love them with My glory, which will heal their bodies and raise them up to joy!

Stay in the joy of seeking My glory and I will see to your glory. Stay in joy and it will get you past everything I did not plan for your life. It is the force of joy that will get you past the problem. For the joy that lay before Him, Jesus went to the cross and finished the work I gave Him to do on earth. The Pharisees taunted Him to use His power to get down off the cross to gain worldly glory showing He was My Son, but He refused to take that into account. For the JOY that lay before Him He despised the shame. He looked past the cross to the resurrection and bringing you to new birth and reconciliation to Me. “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone in bringing many sons to glory.” Hebrews 2:9-10.

I have made you more than a conqueror. Step into that flow! The flow of Heaven. And all said “Glory!”

I love you. What glory do you want? The world’s glory is not the genuine glory. My glory gives everyone joy because My glory is My goodness, presence and power in your life and it will empower you to go about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil. Worldly glory is only about one—you—My glory is about you and everyone that will run with you. Make sure you are running with joy. You choose your flow.
