Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Jesus is the Way. How do you enter and walk the Way? You enter into Christ by believing in your heart and speaking with your mouth what you got in your heart.
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:8-10.
Once you have entered how do you keep walking along the Way? The same way you entered.

Believing My Words in your heart puts you in right standing with Me and gives you My righteousness as your own. Confessing My Words out of your mouth results in your salvation. And this is how you keep on the Way. Your Words align with Mine once you have them in your heart and you walk in righteousness as you have salvation in every situation.
But how do you do that? Once you enter you must get firmly rooted in Him and begin building on the foundation of your salvation the edifice of your life. You must grow up spiritually to be established in righteousness so that you are far from oppression.
According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 1 Corinthians 3:10-15.
A baby cannot build a structure. A skilled architect, contractor, and carpenter can. A wise person builds the house, but a fool tears it down with his own hands. In the spiritual realm it is the same. If you have not matured in your faith, you cannot build on the foundation a structure that will stand through the storms of life. By your words you are acquitted and by your words you are condemned. Death and life are in the hand of your tongue. Your thoughts and words are building tools, be careful what you are constructing. You are framing your own life.
By faith we understand that the universe were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3.
If you want to successfully complete your journey on the Way you must learn how to build with your words.
When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11.
There are three areas in which you must mature to grow up spiritually and these mirror how you become mature physically as well. These areas are your words (what you say), your thoughts (what you allow your mind to dwell upon), and your reasoning (how you get your answers from what you see and hear)
You want to mature for three reasons: your own peace of mind achieving your goals, and being promoted and entrusted with works that require excellence and skill. You know the maturity of a person by the words he or she is speaking, the thoughts he or she is thinking, and the way he or she is reasoning.
Very young children say anything that comes into their minds, they do not filter it and often embarrass their parents in public. As they grow their speech becomes more controlled and they realize speaking correctly can achieve the results they are seeking.
Youngsters do not control their thoughts and have fears and ideas that they no longer are troubled by as they mature. Very young children are easily distracted and have short attention spans. Uncontrolled speech, thoughts, and reasoning are the earmarks of the immature both physically and spiritually.
If you do not mature I cannot entrust you with great works and mighty deeds for the Kingdom. So let Me give you an accelerated course here of how you take My Word and grow thereby. Because remember, you are to be made perfect as I am perfect. And I define a perfect man for you as one controls his tongue so that he does not stumble in what he says. The one who controls his tongue can control the wellbeing of his whole body.
Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48.
If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well. James 3:2.
Where do you begin? With enthusiasm. You must be willing to come to Me to learn. I told you, Jesus told you and the Holy Spirit told you. We are all calling you to come to us and learn. Earnestly desire to grow in your knowledge of My Ways by seeking My Words and instruction therein and the battle is already won.
I call you to Me, let us reason together
“Come now, and let us reason [yakach (יָכַח): expresses the idea of exposing what is wrong and establishing what is right] together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool. If you are willing and obey, you will eat the best of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” Truly, the mouth of the LORD has spoken. Isaiah 1:18-20.
Jesus calls you to learn from Him:
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.
Wisdom, the Holy Spirit, calls you:
Wisdom shouts in the street, she lifts her voice in the square; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings: “How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded? And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing and fools hate knowledge? Turn to my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Proverbs 1:19-23.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Revelation 3:22.
Now I will give you the instructions that will help you the most in being on the fast track to controlling your minds and your words:
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. Philippians 4:4-8.
In this passage I tell you what to do with your mind. No worry, no fear, no anxiety. Come to Me and give it all to Me to take care of because I care for you, and be thankful that I am taking care of it. And then listen to Me what I give you to do for this is hands-on training, after you have handed over everything to Me then you can believe with Me for the good result I promise. Then no more worry—do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid, focus on Me.
The devil cannot hurt you, depress you, or scare you with a thought you won’t think. And I help you in this too, I tell you what to think on and if anything that comes in your mind is not on that list do not let it in. And the wonderful thing is you can. Your mind is your mind and you do not have to open it up to thoughts that torment you and make your life one of grief and shame, blame and offense, darkness and no light, no, you can instead have the light of life if you think on these things: whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. Philippians 4:8.
And I also tell you where to put your eyes, not on the problem but on the solution and His Name is Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.
I love you. I have given you everything you need for life and godliness. It is time you make it your business to find out and enforce it.
