For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
There is only one way you can prosper and be in good health. Your soul must prosper. And your soul is not your spirit, it consists of your mind, will, and emotions, and the only way your soul can be at peace and have constant joy is if you control your thoughts. For your mind directs all the activities in your body. For your soul to prosper you must be walking in the truth. 3 John 1:1-4. Why? The truth will set you free from fear, anxiety, illness, pain, and depression.
And the only way your can successfully continue to control your thoughts is by taking control of your soul by your spirit. And it must be a born again spirit with the power of My Spirit in it for taking down strongholds. My Words are Spirit and Life.
And My Word is truth. My Word sanctifies you. In the prayer Jesus prayed for you, addressed to Me, the Father, the night He was betrayed He stated, “I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” John 17:15-17.
I sent you My Word in Jesus and He is the Light of the World; no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the Light of life. John 8:12. My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet.
To abide in Jesus is to abide in My Word and have it abide in you. And if you are abiding and continuing in My Word, then you are truly disciples of His; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. My Word is the way, the truth and the life. Without keeping My Words in your heart there is no way you can share My joy and peace so that your joy and peace are complete. My Words I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. John 15:11.
So to keep your life intact and make a life that you love to live, you must take your thoughts captive to only dwell on My Words and not those of the world, the flesh, and the devil. You need to stop thinking lies and instead think the truth which sets you free to have joy and peace. You must shake off the dust and the chains and rise up to who I made you to be. More than a conqueror. But if you cannot control your thoughts, you cannot conquer anything. He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city. Proverbs 16:32.
You have to reprogram your soul from walking in the flesh to walking in the Spirit. And this takes monitoring your thoughts with the help of My grace which I have poured lavishly upon you in Christ Jesus.
Jesus gave you His peace, which is Mine, but you can only enjoy it if you do not let your heart be troubled and you do not let it be afraid. John 14:27. And the only way you can do that is by controlling your thoughts.
Do not let your thoughts be like a runaway horse, get hold of the bridle. And you only do that when you control your tongue, but the tongue speaks from the heart’s abundance and that is controlled by the thoughts you permit your mind to dwell upon. And those are determined by who and what you are listening to. And many of you are listening to things contrary to My Word and accepting them. Reject them. Be careful what you hear and keep hearing. There are some programs, people, and entertainment you must stop listening to if you want victory in this area.
And once you take control of your tongue, you control your entire body. The body is directed by the mind which sends the messages by your nervous system and glands to all your body. Death and life are in the power of your tongue.
So what do you do? You have to go after your thoughts and fight the good fight of faith. This is a spiritual battle for the control of your mind is the devil’s game of chess. So take his thoughts captive before he takes you captive. And if he has been successful so far and captured your thoughts so as to put you in fear and depression, hatred and bitterness, turn around now with the weapons I give you and take your captor captive. Checkmate.
For though you walk in the flesh, you do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons (hoplon: a tool, implement, weapon) of your warfare (strateuó: to make war, hence to serve as a soldier) are not of the flesh, but powerful (dunatos: strong, mighty, powerful) with My own divine power—not by human power or might but by My Spirit which I have freely given to you who are in Christ—for the demolition (kaithairesis, which means to take down, demolition, raze, destroy) of strongholds (ochuróma: a stronghold, fortress, especially a military one). You are destroying speculations (logismos: a reasoning, a thought), imaginations, and every lofty presumption raised up against the knowledge of Me and My promises to you in My Word and Covenant Names, and YOU are taking EVERY thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
And what was the obedience of Christ? He only said My Words and only did the works I showed Him. In seeing Him, you see Me. But there was a greater obedience, He took ALL your sins on Himself, into His own flesh, and died on a cross, shedding His blood to redeem you and set you free from the devil and all his works.
“Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming OBEDIENT to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the Name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:8-11.
And I have given you who believe the authority to use His Name, for there is no other name given among men by whom you must be saved. In His Name you cast out demons and heal the sick. He has taken down the devil and carried him off captive. And He shares with you the victory as you walk in that victory procession of triumph.
“Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render POWERLESS him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.” Hebrews 2:14-15.
I have redeemed you by His Blood. And you overcome the devil by the Blood of the Lamb and the WORD of your testimony. My Word in your mouths who are My heirs and Covenant people in Jesus. For this is My covenant with you: My Spirit which is upon you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your children, nor from the mouth of your children’s children from now and forever. Isaiah 59:21.
Are you beginning to see how to take control? By the Name and Blood of Jesus. It is the Blood Brain barrier. That blood over your brain will stop the destroyer from entering your tent (body) just as it did the night of the first Passover in Egypt. It took My people from the captivity of slavery to the perfect freedom of the redeemed.
And by the Blood of His cross, He reconciled you to Me and made perfect peace between us so that you are holy, blameless and beyond reproach before Me. BEYOND REPROACH. The devil, who is the accuser of the brethren, will load your mind with reproaches and fears. Take them down by the demolition team of the Name of Jesus and the Blood of Jesus, and take those thoughts captive by answering them with who you are in Christ and all the good things you have in Him that are all “YES” to you in Christ Jesus, your hope of glory. I have made you just like Him, clothed in Christ, to live your life through His victory.
My Name is a strong tower, the righteous (and you are in Christ with My own righteousness, a gift to you in Him) run into it and are secure, far from oppression, lifted way too high for the devil to enter, his fiery arrows cannot shoot that far. And I put My Name on Jesus and generated His Name in Me. Salvation comes from Me. Yehsuah.
And you have the helmet of salvation and the Sword of the Spirit both of which are My Word. The helmet is My Word about you, that is, who you are in Jesus, along with the promises that are yours in Him, which shield you from attack on your thoughts. And the Sword of the Spirit is the living active Word that you send forth from your mouth to fight for you and win. The devil is an angelic spirit so he must obey My Words, even in your mouth. Psalm 103:20. That is perfect resistance. Use the Sword and he has to flee. He has no answer to truth.
I love you. Remember your tools to take down the devil’s strongholds in your mind, or for that matter, anywhere in your life and world, are spiritual not carnal, so never answer him with arguments in the mental arena. He will win. Instead use My divine power to fight for you, which is in My Words spoken in faith, in the Name of Jesus used with faith, and in the Blood of Jesus applied in faith. Fight the good fight of faith with Me and you will win. The battle is Mine if you will let Me in but the victory is yours. Perfect peace have those who keep their minds stayed on My Word, there is great reward in keeping them. For I am your everlasting rock.
