The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Do you remember when Paul was in Ephesus he came upon a group of disciples and asked them if they had received the Holy Spirit when they believed? Do you remember what they answered? They said to him, “No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” Acts 19:1-2.
Many believers today have heard of the Holy Spirit, but very few really know the awesome, amazing, gift I have given you in Him. Many of you have never received the fullness, the depths, the beauty, the gifts, the wisdom, the guidance, the comfort, the help, the access to Me, that I have given you in My gift of the Holy Spirit.
And when you get full of My Spirit you will be full of joy, pure, awesome, blessed joy! For He is that living water that springs up within you when you are sealed by Him in Christ, He is the source, the fountainhead of divine JOY. And when you are aware of His presence in you and on you, when you begin walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh, I mean by your thoughts and actions, you will never thirst for comfort or happiness again. Even under persecution, I tell you that the early community of believers could not help but be filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. Acts 13:52.
The early community of believers had great reverence and commitment to the Spirit. They depended on Him for direction in everything. They loved My gift to them and He lavished His gifts on them. The church in Corinth was full of those prophesying, speaking in tongues, and moving in the gifts of the Spirit.
Remember the letter of the apostles and the brethren who were elders in the church in Jerusalem that they wrote to the gentile converts? “For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials . . .” Acts 15:28. He had witnessed with their spirits and given them the answer to the inquiry. And He did it through guiding them to the right Scripture. Acts 15:13-22.
Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from above, from Me, the Father of lights. James 1:17. I so loved you I gave you Jesus to take away the sins that divided us, to rescue you out of darkness to My own marvelous light, to heal you and bless you, to make you My children and friends. And I gave you Him so that through Him I could join your life to Mine by the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is My gift to the world and the Holy Spirit is My gift to the church, that is, to those who have received Him and have become His body on earth. Through Jesus you have your access in one Spirit to Me. Ephesians 2:18. And My Spirit in you and on you as He was with Jesus, enables you to continue the works Jesus did and greater for He did them as a man on earth by the Holy Spirit. My Spirit was upon Him and I anointed Him.
I pour My love into your hearts by the gift of the Holy Spirit. And that is how I pour eternal life into you as well. The gift of the Holy Spirit is My promise to you from of old, from before time began I promised you eternal life, and that life is in My Son, and it is activated in You by the Holy Spirit.
And when My Spirit dwells in you, I who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through My Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11. I give you life in the Spirit. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that frees you from the law of sin and death.
I sent Jesus to die for you so you could receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I did not spare My own Son, but delivered Him over for you all, how will I not also with Him freely give you all things?
You may not understand this, but in giving you Jesus and the Holy Spirit through Him, I have given you everything. THERE IS NOTHING YOU LACK to have everything you need for life and godliness. With these two gifts you have EVERYTHING to bring into being the good and wonderful, perfect and pleasing things that you want. Everything you need to be complete. Everything you need to reign in life and never fear anything the devil throws up against you. Why? You will know that I am with you and in you and there is nothing that comes your way that cannot be turned around and work out for your good. No sickness, no pain, no storm, no accident, no evil, no lack can remain for My Word in your mouth and My Spirit in and upon you can change anything to the promise in My Word. And that is My covenant with you, made new in Jesus.
“As for Me, this is My covenant with you,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21.
So who is the Holy Spirit? He is My Spirit, Matthew 10:20, and the Spirit of Jesus. Acts 16:7; Galatians 4:6. Jesus explained, “When the Helper (Paraclete, Comforter, Teacher, Coach, the One at your side to pull the helm of your life with you) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me, and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning.” John 15:26-27.
In the Old Testament, I tell you that He rushed on David the day Samuel anointed him to be king and that My Spirit never left him again. My Spirit would come upon the prophets and breathe My thoughts and Words into them and they would speak and write what I would say, “Thus says the LORD . . .”
My Spirit is the way I communicate and create. I send forth My Spirit and they are created and I renew the face of the earth. My Spirit hovered over the empty dark void that became the world and the universe in the beginning and as I spoke each thing I spoke manifested by the power of My Spirit. That regenerating power of darkness to light, imperfect form to perfect form. Beauty for ashes.
It takes breath to speak and My Spirit is the breath of My Words and deepest thoughts. In fact, in both the Hebrew and the Greek language, the word “Spirit” also means breath and wind. I told My prophet when I showed him the vision of the dry bones in the desert representing the discouraged house of Israel and Judah to speak to My Spirit to come from the four winds and bring those bones to new life, resurrected life.
My Spirit communicates My Words and thoughts to your spirit and then your spirit speaks them to your soul and your mind interprets them into your language that you understand.
I am Spirit and My Spirit knows the deepest depths of Me and My thoughts. And My very being manifests as a Person, just as Jesus is My Word that is within Me and My Spirit generates Him to birth in manifestation.
When you confess Jesus as Lord I save you, not on the basis of deeds which you have done in righteousness, but according to My mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon you richly through Jesus Christ your Savior, so that being justified by My grace you would be made My heirs according to My promise of eternal life. Titus 3:3-7.
My Holy Spirit testifies to Jesus and Jesus loves to testify to the Holy Spirit. He told you much about the Holy Spirit just before He physically left His disciples to complete His mission by dying on the Cross and undergoing all that went with it, to free you from sin, sickness, pains, and shame so that you could be one with Me by being born again in Him, the incorruptible seed of My Word, so that your spirits were again alive to Me and dead to sin. What sin had done through Adam was make your spirits dead to Me and alive to sin. So until Jesus took away your sins and gave you new life by His death to sin, which you died in Him by the Spirit, your spirits could not join with Mine to communicate directly inside your heart with Me.
And when you believe in My Son, My Holy Spirit than witnesses with your spirit that you are My child and testifies to you that your sins and offenses I remember NO MORE. And He testifies to Jesus and tells you all I have freely given you in Him.
I have prepared things for you who love Me which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, they are beyond all you can ask or imagine. But I reveal them to you through the Holy Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even My deepest depths.
For what man or woman among you knows your thoughts except your spirit which is in you? Even so My thoughts no one knows except My Spirit and that is how they come to you, by My Spirit in you and on you.
You have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Holy Spirit who is from Me through Jesus to you, so that you may know the things freely given to you by Me, which things you also speak, as the prophets from of old, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:10-13.
You can talk with Me and experience My thoughts and Words by the fellowship of he Holy Spirit.
Fellowship and partnership with Me is in the Holy Spirit. And this is forever. My Kingdom is a kingdom of righteousness, peace, and JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. Romans 14:17.
He is the connection with My voice and My thoughts. I put My power in you and anoint you with the Holy Spirit. And it is the same anointing I gave Jesus. And what was that anointing? I tell you in both the Old and the New Testament. Psalm 45:7; Hebrews 1:9, I anointed Him with the OIL OF JOY!
There is joy in the Holy Spirit.
The anointing destroys the enemy’s yoke of slavery to sin and death and lifts the burden of all that went with the curse to clothe you in beauty for your ashes and a garment of praise in place of the spirit of depression and weakness.
In Jesus you can again join as one spirit with Me. “But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” 1 Corinthians 6:17.
If you are still asking, “who is the Holy Spirit?” Jesus answered that for you when He told His disciples He would not leave them orphans but would send them from Me one just like Him to be with them and in them always. The great Paraclete—the one always by your side to be there for you who would manifest in and through you My wisdom, My power, and My love. And by His life flowing into you from Me through the vine of Jesus you would bear much fruit. My fruit, the fruit of the branch is that of the vine.
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17. You see here He will be like Jesus to you. Jesus is My Word made flesh, and My Word is truth and sanctifies you in truth. John 17:17. And My Word is breathed by My Spirit and that is how all Scripture was written. By My Word spoken into the hearts of believers. And I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from all destructions. Psalm 107:20.
And then Jesus told His disciples the night He was betrayed more about the wonderful counselor to be at your side and in you always, “These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:25-26. The Holy Spirit will teach you the deep things in My Words and reminds you of My Words as written just when you need them to take down a contrary thought or circumstance to keep you from falling into the snares and deceptions of the devil. He will bring you the peace and enforce it in your souls that Jesus gave you. John 14:27. And He will give it to you by the revelation of My Word as it applies to your need of the moment. He will testify it to you and for you and through you.
I told you that when you were baptized into the Holy Spirit you receive POWER from on High to be My witnesses from where you are to the ends of the earth. The healing power through laying your hands on the sick, the power of provision and multiplication, the power of miracles of goodness, compassion and love to meet the needs of My people.
And the Holy Spirit is a gift from Me but He also gives gifts to each one of you for the benefit of all. All nine gifts are for your good and the good of all. He also gives gifts of skill and ability to do creative work, like Bezalel and Oholiab in the tabernacle furnishings.
And Jesus revealed more about the wondrous Holy Spirit that night before He died for you, “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” John 16:7. Jesus had to die and rise and be glorified by Me before you could be born again and receive My Spirit into your spirit. But once He did that you could have Me in you and with you every moment of every day and every night forever. Now My Name is on you and you have become a sanctuary of My Name and My Spirit, just as Jesus told the Samaritan women that you did not have to be in a particular place physically to worship and be with Me now that He has come.
And Jesus continued that night of the Last Supper speaking of the Spirit, “And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.” John 16:8-11.
This explains so much. The only sin that can now keep you out of Heaven is not receiving Jesus as your Lord for in Him all sins are gone as if they had never been, but if you do not receive the salvation He has won for you, you will die in your own sins and go with the one you have chosen as your Master, Satan.
And with respect to righteousness, you no longer are earning your own so that you can fall in and out of it. Jesus took your sins on Himself and gave you His righteousness. You are starting at the finish line of the Law and going forward to do works of righteousness in the righteousness you have and are.
And concerning judgment, and here we are again in My courtroom with Me as your judge, lawgiver and King, and you see from this I have already judged and condemned the devil in Jesus, Jesus won back the throne of the Son of Man that Adam abdicated to the devil and gave it back to each of you who are seated with Him there now. For when I raised Jesus from the dead, I raised you with Him and seated you again on the throne of the children of men. So when the devil tries to accuse you, depress you or give you sickness, just know I have already ruled in your favor and condemned him, so enforce that judgment with Me and the heavenly host.
And next Jesus told the disciples more about the amazing Holy Spirit, “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.” John 16:12-15.
Here you see more about the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit, He guides you to all truth, He tells you what I am saying and Jesus is saying (which are the same), and He tells you what is coming. A word of wisdom. A word of warning. A word of hope. And He will tell you as much as you can hold. So enlarge your heart, I put no measure on the Spirit I will pour into your heart. It is you that determine how much you want. And it has to be open and teachable. I am always showing you new and greater things. The Holy Spirit will move you forward if you will let Him lead you. And it will be such a joy with all the goodness, love, and beauty that will follow.
For all who are being led by the Holy Spirit are My Sons. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which you cry out, “Abba! Father!” I love it when you call Me “Papa.” I am so close to you. And like any good father, I want to lead you and direct you in right paths. And I have given you such a wondrous Person, the Holy Spirit, to connect you with Me.
And the Spirit Himself testifies with your spirit that you are My children and My heirs, joint heirs with Christ, and all I have is His, so in Him it is yours too. That should give you joy. You are with Me always and everything I have is yours.
And My Spirit testifies to you that your sins and offenses I remember NO MORE. Hebrews 10:17. Next time you are trying to feel guilty and ashamed over past sins you have confessed to Me and repented of; this will ruin your life and rob you of your joy. Let My Spirit in you testify to you of how loved and forgiven you are. Just listen to My Spirit in your spirit and you will have JOY. Joy in the Holy Spirit.
As of old, My Spirit came on people but was not in them as their spirits were dead to Me and alive to sin. But when Jesus died for you, and you who believe died to sin in Him, and I raised Him and raised you who believe up with Him as a new creation in Christ, things changed and your spirits were set free to live again to Me. And do you remember how the Spirit entered into the disciples’ hearts when they were born again when they believed in Him as He came back to them after dying on the Cross when I had raised Him from the grave? On that resurrection day, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 20:21-22. The Spirit went into them by being breathed in, just as I had with the first man and woman the day I created them.
Later after He returned to Me in Heaven the Holy Spirit fell and they were clothed with power from on High, as of old, but now they also had the Spirit within them and He could pray in them and this time when the power fell upon them they spoke in tongues. A gift to the born again believers that make up the New Testament church that was not before. Because now the Spirit is not only on you, He is in you. And just as I (and Jesus) breathed the Spirit into the first man and woman, so now I (and Jesus) again breath Him into each born again believer. Alive again. A new creation in Christ. Flooded in and out with the Holy Spirit, swimming in joy! Like the vision I showed Ezekiel. Ezekiel 47:1-5.
And I could go on about tongues, singing in the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, and so much more, but that is enough for today.

At that very time Jesus rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I praise You, O Father, LORD of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight.” Luke 10:21.
