This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
In Jesus I have qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in light. And when you receive revelation of what this means to you it will give you joy as it did the first believers in My Son’s resurrection. You too will join with them in “joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.” Colossians 1:11-12.
For I have rescued you from the domain of darkness, and transferred you to the kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13. And Jesus is the Light of the World and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the Light of Life. John 8:12.
My first Words, and first words are important, recorded for you in the Bible are: “Light be!” and light was. This was before I created the sun, moon and stars.
What was the Light I released that started all the work of creation? It was My life, life for the light of men. Nothing came to be apart from Me. I am life. And I am light.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. John 1:1-4.
I am the light of life and I put that eternal life for you in My Word, that is, in My Son who is the Word generated in My deepest depths that was birthed, that is, begotten, into being by My Spirit, who knows My innermost thoughts and shares them with you as spiritual words that manifest into physical realities. But all is born in the Spirit.
I send forth My Spirit and they are created. You were born, and are born again, by water and the Spirit. “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5. And that is the way the world was made, My Spirit hovered over the waters.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Light be!”; and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3.
Have you ever noticed that the great “I AM” Covenant Names I give Jesus are all about life and about light? For I have given you eternal life and that life is IN My Son. If you have Him you have life.
My testimony is this, that I have given you eternal life, and this life is in My Son Jesus. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have My Son Jesus does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the Name of My Son, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:11-13.
Receiving Jesus as your Lord, you can know for certain that you have eternal life with Me. And this is joy unspeakable filled with glory that no one can take from you.
You have Me as your forever Father. And you are My heir, a joint heir with Christ, the inheritance of the saints in Light. Everything in My amazing Kingdom of Light is yours to enjoy.
I made ALL things in Heaven and on earth for you to enjoy. I provide for you, My children, in accordance with My riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
He emptied Himself and became poor, so you, by His poverty, could become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9. Like the fleeces Gideon put on the ground for a sign that I was with him and would conquer all his enemies. It came down full of the dew on the parched land, but the next day, the fleece had emptied all its rich store of dew and the land was filled with the dew of Heaven and the fleece was dry. The lamb led to the slaughter, the sheep before its shearers, He came full of grace and truth to take all your sins and the punishment due them and pour Himself out for you, the divine life of His grace, the righteous One, into you.
Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, and like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, so He did not open His mouth. Isaiah 53:7.
Of His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace.
Now let us look at His great Covenant Names, they will give you joy, just as My Covenant Names do, for I put My Name on Him and He fulfills all My Covenant promises, as many as they be (and they are many and are magnificent) and makes them all “yes” to you in Him.
The first one stated by Jesus is “I am the bread of life.” And this is about life. And what does He tell you about this bread? Remember He identified My Word as bread that you eat when Satan tempted Him in the wilderness.
Jesus explained, “I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.” John 6:51.
And He explains further, “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.” John 6:54-57.
And Jesus did just this and showed you how to do it in remembrance of Him at the Passover meal the night before He died for you and made the New Covenant with Me that He would seal in His blood.
It is so important that Jesus revealed it to My apostle Paul so he could share it with you as well, “For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.
This is bread is life to you and healing. Do you partake of it often? You should in order to be strong and filled with the light of life. And that leads to the next great I AM Name of Jesus and it too is about life.
“I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12.
This you see from the beginning of creation until the end of time and then for eternity. My glory lights the Kingdom of Heaven and its lamp is the Lamb. I alone light the lamp of your spirit and go through all your innermost parts with that light. And that light for the world is in My Son. In Him you have the LIGHT OF LIFE. The Light I spoke in the beginning of the creation of the world is that same Light that lights Heaven and it is My life, which is eternal and the source of all life. My continuum of life.
I speak of the Light of Life often in My Word. But I want you to look the prophetic words that Elihu, the mysterious counselor who came to give light to Job to come from the darkness of his troubles, spoke to Job.
He spoke of a man wandering from the right path in pride and whose soul is near to going down to the pit. And that is all of you. He then speaks of the appearance of a messenger, a mediator, to remind the man what is right for him, and who offers himself as a ransom. And I graciously accept that ransom and say about the sinful man, “Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom; let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.” Job 33:25.
And then what will that redeemed man do? “Then he will pray to God, and God will accept him, that he may see God’s face with joy, so that God may restore His righteousness to man. The redeemed one will sing to men and say, ‘I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it is not proper for me. He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light.” Job:26 -28. And the conclusion, “Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men, To bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life.” Job 33:29-30.
Let Jesus enlighten you with the Light of Life. His Words are Spirit and Life. Words of eternal life.
The next Covenant Name of Jesus is “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:8-10.
Once you receive Jesus as your Lord, you will find that He is the door that opens to you the eternal Kingdom and the joy of the life that is life indeed. The life of abundance, joy and peace that I blessed you with from the beginning. The door to Eden, that wondrous life of a garden of abundance with no toil, had been shut by the sin of Adam and Eve and their transfer to another jurisdiction that was filled with toil and lack, but now Jesus was opening that door up to you who are in Him. You enter eternal life through Him alone and you are saved by Him. I told Joseph to call His Name Jesus because He would save His people from their sins. Jesus, in Hebrew, is “Yeshuah,” which means salvation.
And the next Covenant Name of Jesus follows in the very next line after His revelation on the Door, “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” John 10:11. And what does this Shepherd do for you ? “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30. He fulfills Psalm 23 and Ezekiel 34. I Myself will shepherd My sheep, and I do this in Jesus. And when I raised Him from the dead, I raised Him by the blood of the eternal covenant as your great good Shepherd forever. Hebrews 13:20-21. He is the good Shepherd that leads you into eternal life. He came to give you abundant, beautiful, overflowing life. And He leads you to the life-giving water of the Holy Spirit.
I so loved the world that I gave you My only begotten Son so that all who believe in Him will never perish but will have eternal life. John 3:16. And that life is in the light.
And the next Covenant Name of Jesus is, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Here again His Name is all about Life—eternal life, resurrected life, the life that overcomes the grave. And there is more. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.” John 11:25-26. In Jesus, you have passed from death to life. He tasted death for you all so that you will never taste the second death, that is, eternal death. Absent from the body, you will be present with Me, for He is the way out of death to life.
When He died to sin, you died to sin, and when I raised Him up to new life, I raised you with Him and seated you with Him in Heaven. There is a place for you already. And the whole family in Heaven is looking forward to your arrival.
The next Covenant Name of Jesus is, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6. Again it is about life. He is your life. He is your way into that life. And He is the truth, My Word is absolute truth. There is nothing but light in My Word and My Word will be a light to your path and a lamp to your feet showing you the way, a new and living way that He opened for you with His Blood, right into the Holy of Holies.
In Jesus I fit My divinity into your humanity and your humanity into My divinity in one seamless life. Jesus is one hundred percent God and one hundred percent man in one perfect Person and thus is you only way into Me. He pulls you into His oneness with Me, He thus prayed to Me, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.” John 17:22-23. And that was not just for those with Him at that final Passover meal, it was for you too, “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:20-21.
And the seventh Covenant Names of Jesus is, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5. He is the vine, you are the branches that bear the fruit of the vine, and I am the vinedresser. I clothe you in Christ and raise you up with Him.
This Name is about life as well. The branches have life because of the vine. The branches have no life in them apart from the vine and bear no fruit, they just wither up and die. This Name is about My grace, which is My divine life flowing into you every moment as you stay attached to the source. Jesus brings you the gift of the Holy Spirit from Me by His death and resurrection so that your spirit has life in it again and can receive My Spirit, for I am the living God. To receive My divine grace you must have a spirit alive to Me and dead to sin, and I did that for you in Jesus. Now you are attached to Me and not Satan and My Spirit can produce the fruit of the Spirit in your spirit as you flow together as one.
Jesus is My gift of life to you. He is all about life. I promised you eternal life before the world began and that life is in My Son. And when you have Him you have joy, a joy that no one can take from you for there is no snatching out of His hand. And none out of Mine. He and I are One.
I sent Jesus to undo the works of the devil. The works of the devil are all about death. He is a murderer and a liar from the beginning. Jesus uncovered Him for you, “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but I came that you may have life and have it abundantly.” He ended the works of death by works of life, works of everlasting life. He healed the sick, raised the dead, gave new eyes, new limbs, new ears, made the mute speak, and cleansed those attacked by leprosy and every ailment and spirit of infirmity. He multiplied provisions, called in super catches of fish, and put the payment of tax in the mouth of a fish. He calmed storms, rebuked fevers, cast out demons, and withered up unfruitful trees. And He said those who believe in Him would do the works He did and greater works in His Name by the Holy Spirit He was sending you from Me and by faith in Him coming to do the work you asked with you.
I love you. Let Me light up your life with the light of life and the life of light. And I share all this with you so My joy may be in you and your joy may be full. The Word is enough for you to do anything.
