Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting and singing. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with shouts and songs of joy, bringing his sheaves. Psalm 126:5-6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Plant what you want to grow. That sounds simple but most people are not doing this with respect to their lives and that is why they are frustrated and have no lasting joy. You will grow what you sow. But in this is power. The power of the seed. That is joy in determining how your life will grow and be, you plant and cultivate the garden of your life and you are doing it by your thoughts, vision, and words.
I gave an abundant garden and plenty of various kinds of seed to the first man and woman so they could take dominion and replenish the earth. I gave them the wonderful opportunity to determine what they would grow upon the earth.
But they rejected the wisdom I gave them of how to sow, cultivate, grow, and harvest what they desired and they instead planted thorns, weeds, and thistles, which made cultivating into painful toil and sweat instead of a dominion exercise of joy.
I put My Words in your mouth, cover you with My hand of power, and give you My Spirit in you and on you as My Covenant with you. Your world should look like a territory, a colony, a state, of the united Kingdom of Heaven. All one in Me by being in Jesus.
So the question is this: if in your life you are not harvesting health, healing, provision, prosperity, good days, sweet sleep, beauty, protection, and divine direction why aren’t you? Simple. You are planting the wrong seed and growing the wrong crops. Change the seeds and stop the weeds.
If you have a garden and want to plant a particular kind of vegetable or flower, you go to the garden shop and select the packet of seeds that has a photo on it that matches up with what you want to grow. If you want pansies you will not take the packet that has a picture of daisies on it.
Likewise with a farmer, if he wants to plant wheat in his fields he will certainly not buy cotton seeds. He will choose carefully what kind of seed he wants before he plants, the quality he wants, and how much he needs to fill the territory he is planting with the maximum harvest of wheat.
Are you beginning to see something here? The revelation of My Word gives light and understanding to the humble.
If you speak about your stress and how you fear or know it will make you get cancer, or talk about the heart trouble history in your family and how you are fearing you are feeling symptoms, more than you say words of health and healing over your life, you will reap a harvest of illness. If you speak that you fear you are going deeper and deeper into debt or about what you lack more than about My promises of provision, you are sowing seeds that will bring in a harvest of lack.
But if you will speak My promises of life, healing, health and abundance over the situation instead you will encourage and edify yourself and others and that seed will take over if you are consistent to bring forth a very different harvest and turn your direction around. You will get to the destination you desire instead of the one you dread.
Now you may be thinking that your abilities to prosper and be in good health are lacking and you cannot see how planting My Word in your heart and refusing to say things against it would help you. Abram, just looking at his body and Sarah’s when I gave him the promise of a son and many descendants, thought I was saying something that was impossible for him to attain. He even laughed about it, as Sarah also did. And I mean laughing as if it were a joke but not a reality. He just could not visualize it for them because of their past history. So I took him outside and showed him the stars to enlarge his vision as to how many his descendants would be and he began to visualize the promise. And then I change his name and Sarah’s name so what they called themselves and others called them lined up with My promise, so they spoke it and heard it all day long. I put a letter “hei” in his name and his name became “father of many nations,” and I put a letter “hei” in Sarai’s name and her name became a “royal princess,” so he became Abraham and she became Sarah and the seeds began to plant to give the harvest of a son.
They stopped seeking to produce by the flesh and stepped up to produce by the promise in the seed of My Word.
If you are looking to your flesh for the result you want to happen and don’t see how you can ever be healed and prosperous up to the degree of a hundredfold return, then think about this: It is not the dirt that determines what harvest will come, it is the seed!
The dirt, though it makes a difference if it is stony ground and whether you keep the weeds and thorns out (that is the gardener’s job), is not what is producing the harvest, the seed is. The dirt is merely the medium that holds the seed and gives it the place in which to grow. So if you plant the right seed it will produce what it promised, the vision on the packet.
Without being planted and watered, however, the seed will not grow though the life and the power is in the seed to produce the harvest of what it promises. It is inherent in the seed. But without the soil it will not grow, it will just remain a seed.
Jesus gave this another allegory in the vine with its branches. The vine has all the power to produce the fruit but that power is dormant without a branch to flow into.
The same with electrical power. I put it in the earth, but until you harnessed it with proper conductors and mediums to release that power, it was not lighting up anything. And even now if you never flip on the switch or turn the power on, there will be no light or power in your home.
I give you the power but releasing it is up to you.
I give you the power to bind things that are bound in Heaven on the earth and to loose all that is in the Kingdom to the earth.
How do you plant seed, attach to a vine, flip on the switch, put the key in the ignition, bind, and loose? All of it has the same answer. And it is not like you do not know it I told you this since the beginning, but My people perish for lack of knowledge. But even that is not enough, they also perish and are unrestrained by a lack of vision.
You have to see the vision in your life of the picture on the packet of seeds you are planting or you will not endure in sowing and growing. Do you understand what I just said?
Jesus told you that the seed the sower sows is My Word. He told you that you abide as a branch in the vine if My Word remains in you and you remain in My Word. He told you that you have the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven by what you speak, whether you bind or you loose. All of this you can do by My Word.
If you do not put the right key in, though the car is ready to transport you wherever you direct it by the steering wheel, it will never start. And if you do not press the pedal that sets the car in motion and turn the steering wheel the way you want to go, even if you put the key in nothing will happen. And you determine the speed by how much of the car’s power you are willing to release. You will stay parked where you are if you do not, and even if you do go forward if you do not direct the steering wheel correctly you will go to the wrong place. Do you see what I am showing you at the level of what is going on in your life? The time is short to do your assignment you need the Word, the vision, and the acceleration.
In modern day Hebrew, the same word I use as a verb for Joshua meaning to meditate (hagah, הגה) which I tell him to do on My Word day and night to make his way prosperous and successful (cultivating and growing the vision of the provision seed) is, when changed to its noun form, the which means “steering wheel” for a vehicle in Israel (hegehהגה ). There is a reason for that. Your words are like the rudder on the ship or the bridle and bit in the mouth of the horse, you are able as the captain of the ship and the rider on the horse to turn them in any direction.
The life is in the seed to produce. My Words are living and active, they are Spirit and life. The flesh is useless, it cannot produce good on its own efforts, it is the spirit that gives life. My Word plants in your heart (spirit) for My Words are Spirit for I am Spirit but then as it grows it renews your mind to vision in the Spirit and then goes out to harvest with results in your flesh and the work of your hands. Your spirit, soul, and body complete, functioning as one with your spirit in control. And your spirit is united with My Spirit and we are in a flow to exercise your dominion over the earth in Heaven’s flow. You are producing the fruit of the Spirit, which is the atmosphere and production of Heaven on the earth.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
I sanctify you by My Word and this affects your spirit, soul, and body as a whole. But I cannot do this without you speaking and thinking My Words so they plant and grow in your life. And the more diligence you put into this the faster the harvest will come.
In fact, I told My prophet Amos that when you rebuild the fallen tabernacle of David in your life, which is the tabernacle of psalms of praise and joyful shouts (I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Psalm 27:6), that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed and abundance will flow. That I will bring back the captives and give them abundant harvests from their own gardens and vineyards. Amos 9:11-15. The voice of thanksgiving works wonders, it is the catalyst that accelerates harvest time and it is the way you reap from My promises that you plant. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs shouts of joy! Sow in trials but then stop weeping as you visualize the harvest and accelerate it with songs of praise and worship in the midst of your tears, for when you have faith in My Word of promise and you see victory on its way, you will rejoice.
Like Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah, the minute they had My promise that they would have the victory because I would fight for them if they just went out and faced the enemy, they planted that in their hearts, believed it, rejoiced in it, refused to speak doubt though no physical facts had changed yet. They went forth singing and shouting for joy to harvest. And they did. There was so much spoil that it took them three days to gather it all. And all the time they reaped they sang and shouted for joy. 2 Chronicles 20:22-29. I destroyed their enemy as they sang thankful praise. They planted in tears but they reaped with joy.
First of all, however, this all comes from planting the seed of My Word in your heart. And for that I need a living, humble heart. And I need you to be working with Me and not against Me. I need you to receive, plant, cultivate, and grow the seed to maturity, to harvest.
But you also need to put in the sickle and harvest it when it is ready and not leave it in the field to be stolen—reaped by the devil and taken into his realm. He will seek to steal the Word but he does not give up, first he will seek to get you distracted enough with the world and its philosophies that you don’t even let the seed plant. Next, if it plants, he will try to stop you from growing it by trials and unclean influences that cause lusts and doubts. But if you get all the way to harvest, he will try to steal your harvest from you.
I tell you to guard My Word in your heart. I tell you often to guard your heart and to be careful what you hear and say. This is one of the major themes in the Bible. Do not grow sluggish in this but through faith and patience be like those who obtain the promise.
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:11-12.
An inheritance is the spirit way of obtaining. Like Isaac.
In the Bible, which is filled with promises, you have a big bag of seeds. Every promise is a seed you can plant and grow purposefully, like a good gardener or farmer, in your life. And this is power. Your dominion authority is in the seed you choose to plant, cultivate and grow.
I told Adam to cultivate and guard the garden. When he did not, he lost it.
Your life was formed by My Word, My Word made you and it sustains you, but there is more, it will not only sustain you but will profit, prosper, bless, enhance, heal, deliver, and give you eternal life.
Your life is really all about one thing, what you do with My Word. And My Word as particularly expressed in Jesus, the promised Messiah, My Word made flesh, living, active and working, undoing the works of the devil and giving you the Kingdom as your inheritance with all the benefits and promises in the seed of My Word.
And it is there for you. And everyone who cares to choose the vision they want, plant the promise that has that picture with it, and grow it to maturity, and then harvest it.
You may be weeping in your troubles now, but those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy and joyful singing. The problem is that when a trial comes most people don’t sow My Word but do like Job and rail at Me for allowing it when they have been so diligent about being good people.
They say things like “Why do bad things happen to good people?” Making Me sound unjust. My throne is founded on justice and I am the just judge. If bad things happen to a believer, it is because they did not answer them and cast out the demon and then plant plenty of seed to grow what they desire.
Also, it often comes from not listening to My warnings or My laws and violating them though you think you are justified or are an exception. It can also come because you have no idea what My Word has to say about the subject and your conduct is not legally lined up with My Word. You have dominion over the earth realm and there are certain ways you can authorize Me to come in and work justice for you. When the storm came up on the sea, only Jesus understood to rebuke the storm, and the same with the fever that had attacked Peter’s mother in law. No one else, not even his mother in law, had rebuked the fever. My Son answered Satan with My Word and cast him out. He did not let him get away with his tactics. And Jesus gave you My authority to do so as well, just as He had when He walked the earth.
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19.
And He told you when He ascended back to Heaven to cast out demons in His Name.
So how is it you plant My Word? How do you sow and grow it? I set out the basics to Joshua, but I had already taught them to Moses. Solomon wrote about them as well, and he harvested the hundredfold. And Jesus taught you much about this as did My servants Peter and Paul. Mary practiced it faithfully and David sang about it.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8. The formula? You speak My Words and do not depart from them to say contrary things even in the face of thoughts, feelings, storms and trials that the devil throws up in your life. You meditate on My Word day and night. To meditate is to ponder and treasure it in your heart, as Mary did. You delight in telling to yourself and thinking upon the promises of healing, of provision, of prosperity, of deliverance, of vindication, and however many of My magnificent promises guaranteed in My Covenant Names you choose to dwell upon in your mind and heart. And when you have filled yourself up with My Word your mind will be renewed and ready to release your faith by doing what the Word tells you to do as a condition for the promise manifesting in your life.
Unless you repent, that is, renew your mind with the seed of My Word growing in your heart, you will perish. Jesus explained this when the Jewish people asked Jesus if the people the falling tower fell upon were more sinful than others. Jesus just told them unless you renew your mind in My Word so that you think as I do, you will likewise perish. People perish for lack of knowledge and vision, even if they are “good” people.
And once you plant the seed of My Word in your heart, you must guard it. You have to constantly watch over it to weed it, pull the thorns out, chase out the little foxes, and keep the birds from eating your seed. Remember when Abraham set out the sacrifice I told him to offer, he had to beat the birds off so that did not carry it off. You take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
Plant your seed and cast your cares on Me and grow it with Me. My Spirit leads you to all truth and testifies for you. Pray over your promise in tongues and let My Spirit pull the helm of your life with you into the right direction to get to your destiny.
You sow My Word in your heart and cultivate it by eating it. And you eat it by hearing it, speaking it, meditating on it, and keeping it always before your eyes.
My child, give attention to My Words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; remove your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:20-27.
That is sowing and growing, but there is only one way to reap the harvest—with joyful shouts and songs of thanksgiving, even before the full harvest has come. That accelerates the harvest and that is the only way you return carrying your sheaves.
But don’t just wait until you see the harvest, sing and shout at every stage of the growth, that is even the way you water it. With joy you will draw water at the springs of salvation for I am your strength and song.
I love you. And as you sow and grow My Word you will find yourself falling in love with My Word and it will become the joy and treasure of your heart. And I am My Word, and I am love. So you will simply be falling in love with Love Himself. Me, your beloved and your friend for My mouth is all sweetness and I am altogether lovely. Song of Songs 5:16.
