Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The freedom of My children, which is the freedom of the redeemed, includes freedom from accusation from the accuser of the brethren. And who is the accuser of the brethren? The great dragon, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. Revelation 12:9.
Even if you have not recognized the origin of the accusations that come into your mind they are not from you but they are very personalized. The accuser is always putting your attention back on the faults, failings, sins, appearance, finances and anxieties of your flesh. He constantly berates you about your sins and mistakes, disobedience and misfortunes. He directs your thoughts to darkness and no hope.
He accuses you with YOU, that is, he brings up all the wrong things you have done. He is the prosecutor wanting to imprison you in your sins.
He challenges your identity in Me by showing you your faults and thus pummeling you down as unrighteous, condemned, unworthy and incapable of ever doing My plan for your life. He makes you think that these thoughts are your own and originate in you. And if you adopt them and agree with them they do become your own and shape your life. It is by your words you are acquitted and by your words you are condemned.
He is trying to put an orphan spirit on you by giving you thoughts that you have lost My love, favor and protection by your sins and have missed My plan for your life. He tries to make you dissatisfied with where you are now, telling you that bad things are happening to you or will happen to you because you have missed My Will for your life and all is lost for you ever doing it. That you missed your promised land and will never get it back again. He wants to render you unfruitful for My Kingdom.
And if he is successful in making you adopt these fiery darts and arrows as your own, he can come in and steal, kill, and destroy your flesh, your dreams, and your life on earth.
What is your answer and protection? Change what you are looking at.
Do not look in the accuser’s mirror of who you are that he is holding before your eyes. Do not look down at that mirror of the flesh, consider it not, instead look at yourself in the mirror of My Word, the mirror of the redeemed.
And not being weak in faith, Abraham did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:19-22.
You are no longer the old image; you are the new image. You are now in Christ. Jesus made peace through the blood of His Cross and made you holy, blameless, and BEYOND REPROACH in My sight, that is, beyond the accusations of Satan.
No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of My children, and their righteousness is from Me. Isaiah 54:17.
Jesus came to set free the captives and heal all those who were oppressed by the devil. Acts 10:38. He came to undo the works of the devil as if sin had never been. 1 John 3:8.
When the devil shows up you will know by the turn of your thoughts to darkness, hopelessness, and accusation against yourself and others. And these thoughts will be very personal to you because the devil has watched you all your life and knows all that you have done and been through, especially all that he baited you to do when you swallowed his bait, so he is good at this.
David experienced this after the one sin of his life, that one with Bathsheba and her husband. When he repented I told him by My prophet that I had forgiven him. But later he wrote,
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when You speak and blameless when You judge. Psalm 51:3-4.
Before you can effectively cast down these imaginations and thoughts you must realize where they originate.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
Next, you must know what I have done for you in Christ Jesus and you must be fully persuaded of the truth of My Word about how I see you in Christ.
First you must know that Christ died for your sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3. In Him you personally have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of your trespasses, according to the riches of My grace which I lavished on you in Him. Ephesians 1:7-8.
In Christ you are a new creation, the old things have passed away and new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17. I was in Christ reconciling you to Myself not counting your sins against you. 2 Corinthians 5:19. I made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin on your behalf so that you would become righteous with My own righteousness in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21. And My Holy Spirit testifies to you that your sins and offenses I remember NO MORE. Hebrews 10:17. They are gone, borne by Him and punished upon Him so that you are acquitted of all wrong. Your sins, faults, guilt, shame, blame and any other evil works are gone as if they had never happened.
Since He took your faults, they are no longer your faults. Since He took your sickness, it is no longer your sickness. Since He took your pain, it is no longer your pain. Since He took your punishment, you are free from punishment. Since He took your unrighteousness, you are perfectly righteous. Since He took your reproaches, you are free from reproach. Since He took your shame, your are free from shame. Since He took your hopelessness and depression when He went down to hell for you, you are free from hopelessness and depression. Since He became poor so you could become rich through His poverty, you are rich and lack nothing.
I made Him to be wisdom unto you, and righteousness, sanctification and redemption, so these are yours.
In Him, I rescued you out of the realm of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, where all authority lies. In Him I made you a born again citizen of My Kingdom with full benefits of citizen rights, I made you My child, and I put you in the New and Everlasting Covenant with Me sealed in His blood. In Him I made you holy, blameless and beyond reproach. In Him I made you beautiful.
And once you believed the good news of your salvation, I sealed you in Christ by the Holy Spirit as a pledge of the redemption of not only your spirit and soul but also your body, and commanded Jesus to never lose you and to raise you up on the Last Day by the power of My Spirit in you that He poured forth on you from Me.
You are secure in Me with your good Shepherd and great High Priest Jesus, who loved you and released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom and priests unto Me.
He crushed the devil and brought his power over you to nothing and gave you His own authority as the triumphant Son of Man to trample the devil underfoot as well.
It is time you flipped the two sided mirror, one side being the mirror of who you are in the flesh, the old man, to the other side of who you are in Christ, the new man. Stop remembering the things of the past (even 5 minutes ago if you have repented and confessed that sin to Me so I can cleanse you of all unrighteousness), I have done something new in Christ. You are now to only look in the mirror of the redeemed, which is of the Spirit. No longer look in the mirror of the darkness of slavery to sin and death but look in the mirror of the marvelous light of the freedom of My children. You are no longer children of the darkness; you are now children of the Light. Live in the light and the blood of My Son continually cleanses you.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18.
You are no longer a slave but a child and an heir. And you are much more than a child, in the everlasting Covenant of Love you are espoused to Me forever in faithfulness and truth. And the spouse is the heir of all. And I call you the most beautiful of all. Song of Songs 6:1-3.
And it is only when you will be firmly established in righteousness that you will be FAR from oppression.
“In righteousness you will be established; you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Isaiah 54:14-15.
Look in the mirror of My Word to see yourself and you will see more than a conqueror. You will see the total authority I have given you in Christ over the world, the flesh and the devil. Jesus overcame them all and He is in you.
I need you to occupy your seat of authority where I have seated you in Christ Jesus. You must operate in the authority with which I have clothed you in Christ to fulfill My plan, My Kingdom plan, for your life. The amount of the devil’s activity in your life depends upon whether you will exercise your authority over him or not. He will test you and if you do not know your authority you will back down to his lies that pertain to the flesh alone and leave out spiritual realities of redemption in Christ, and you will give him unchallenged entrance into your life and the lives of your household.
If you accept his condemnation he will be successful in robbing you of your authority and hindering your prayer life with Me. If you condemn yourself you will not come to My throne with confidence for what you need. Condemnation robs you of faith that My promises will work for you.
The devil has been dethroned from the throne of the Son of Man that Adam abdicated to him by Jesus and cast out of Heaven. He still roams the earth under Adam’s lease but soon it will expire, but you are seated with Christ in Heaven and he is under your feet. Dethroned. His lies should not even be an issue with you. Just cast him out.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19.
It is time to take up My full armor and stand against the devil’s tactics and one of his main strategies is to accuse you of all that you have done wrong in order to give you sin consciousness rather than righteousness consciousness.
When Christ died, you died with Him, and when I raised Him from the dead, I raised you with Him. Therefore, from now on, do not regard yourself according to the flesh, you are hidden now with Christ in Me. Stop looking at the mirror of your flesh and look in the mirror of My Word and you will find the “you” that I see. I have beautified you with Salvation. Yeshuah.
You are precious in My eyes and I love you. See yourself that way and you will not sin, for I have freed you from sin and put you under grace. Take authority and take possession of all that is yours in Christ. The time is short to get your Kingdom assignment done so you have no time to waste on the lies of the devil. Jesus brought him to naught and you should see him that way as well. There is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for He took your condemnation and put your sins as far away from you as east is from the west. They are gone, gone, gone. I remember them no more. So next time Satan accuses you just tell him you do not remember any of those things anymore. Case closed. Flip the mirror.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—think on these things. Philippians 4:8.
