I am the LORD your healer. Exodus 15:26.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The devil has cut many believers’ lives short by the lie we are considering today. This lie is that sickness is from Me and I am pleased when you accept it and offer it up to Me to save souls or make some kind of reparation to Me. This is a horrible lie against who I am, for I am love! What good father would ever put sickness on a child? The only One I ever put it on was Jesus and it pleased Me to do that only because it healed all of you so that you would not have to bear the wages of sin. And He was the only one qualified to do this because He Himself was sinless, like the unblemished lamb.
This lie leads even well-meaning believers to pray for the sick person saying, “Father, IF it be your will we beg you to heal this dear person.” Meaning if it is not, then just leave them sick. What do you mean questioning My Will on healing? If you knew My Word you would know that it is My Will to heal everyone. Just look at Jesus, He never refused to heal anyone who came to Him with faith to receive it.
And that is the key. YOUR faith. Jesus told those who were healed, “Your faith has made you whole.”
My power to heal is always present, and today for believers My power is IN YOU to heal by My Spirit dwelling in you. Not by your power or might but by My Spirit. He is the power that raised Jesus from the dead. Resurrection power. And that is more than enough to quicken your mortal body now and raise you up to a glorified body when Jesus returns.
Sickness and death entered the world because of sin. Adam’s sin corrupted the seed, it was no longer imperishable but became perishable and subject to sickness, death, and deformities in all his descendants for you are all born in the flesh of his corrupted seed.
Cain and Abel were born after the sin as were the rest of Adam’s line. Sin is extremely serious and its consequences travel down the generations until someone reverses the curse. And Jesus has reversed the curse and now all of you who have received Jesus as Lord have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through My living and enduring Word.
But, I have and will always be your Healer. Sickness is not and never was or will be My Will. Jesus came to undo the works of the devil and He did this by healing, teaching and preaching. And then He took on all your sins, sickness, and pain in His own incorruptible sinless flesh and offered His eternal life in the flesh for the one you lost and all was satisfied in your debt to divine justice.
Sickness has no place in your life any longer. You are no longer in slavery to sin and death; you have passed from death to life and I have acquitted you.
Jesus not only healed sickness and disease, He also cured deformities and restored parts that were missing or had never functioned, such as the man blind from birth to whom He gave eyes that saw. And He raised people who died prematurely from the dead. And after He returned to Me in Heaven, His followers and those who learned from them did the same. Even handkerchiefs and cloths touched to Paul got so filled with the anointing that anyone whom they were laid on was healed and demons cast out.
My Son told you the origins of all sickness. Do you remember the woman in the synagogue on the Shabbat that was bent over as though crippled in her spine so that she could not straighten up? What did Jesus tell those in the synagogue who objected to Him healing her on the Shabbat? “And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:16. Satan had bound her up and Jesus untied her and set her free. I had not put that spirit of infirmity on her. The devil had. And she should not have accepted it, for My Son tells you that she was a daughter of Abraham, which means she was in covenant with Me under the Abrahamic Covenant which established you in righteousness by faith in My Word.
Jesus did only My Will, it prospered in His hand, and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. By His bloody scourges you have been healed. And He told you to do the works He did and greater works yet. How? He told you to cast out demons and lay your hands on the sick in His Name. And anything you ask in His Name with faith, He will do. And for you to have faith in what you are asking you must have confirmed that your request is in keeping with My Word, which is My Will. And I make it very clear that sickness is not My Will and never was.
Healing sickness and casting out unclean spirits of infirmity and disease lifts the oppression of the devil off a person’s life. No wonder that is one of the lies the devil has pushed so vehemently that entire church denominations pray this way, saying it is part of My “mysterious” will and they are very “humbly” leaving the decision in My hands. Well, then why pray at all? This is just lazy default prayer that people use when they do not want to be embarrassed if healing does not take place.
The disciples of Jesus were embarrassed when Jesus came down from the mountain of the transfiguration and they had been unable to heal the boy with the seizures even though that had been having great success in this area when Jesus sent them out with authority to heal and cast out demons. They, however, did not blame Me, they asked Jesus why they had not been able to cast the demon out. At least they acknowledged that the hindrance was on their side and not Mine. And what did Jesus reply? Did He tell them it must not have been My Will to heal him? No, of course not, He knew My Will and he had taken over and cast it out and healed the boy already. So what was the reason? Little faith.
And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. Matthew 17:20.
Never think you are pleasing Me by telling Me you accept pain or illness. You are not proving how much you love Me; rather you are only proving how little you know Me. Little faith.
What would please Me then? Great faith. Make it a point to look up what I said before you pray and pray according to what I say. And I very specifically tell you not to allow Satan even one inch of you, that you must resist him and take up the full armor that I give you. Hold up the shield of faith and take the Sword of Spirit out of its sheath and stand against the enemy. Be strong in Me and the power of My might and stay standing till the dust goes down and you are healed.
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:11-12.
If you obey My voice and keep My Word in your heart, I have the jurisdiction to heal you when you ask Me. And you have the authority to go after sickness for it is not from Me but from the evil one. Resist him with My Word and he will have to flee from you.
Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer OF FAITH will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. James 5:15-16.
I love you. I have provided you with your healing, stop begging Me for it and take possession of it and enforce it.
