Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You are only living eternal life if you are in My perfect Will for your life. That is when you experience and are filled with the abundant life that Jesus came to give you. It is only there that you see your life become one of supernatural favor for you are surrounded by the shield of My goodwill.
But let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy; and You shelter them, that those who love Your Name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:11-12.
The word translated “favor” in this passage is the Hebrew word ratson (רָצוֹן), which is often translated as My “will” or My “goodwill” towards you or favor or acceptance. But do you see, it is all about My Will. If you are walking in My good, pleasing and perfect will for your life you are in a shield and I am your refuge. The noun “ratson” is from the verb “ratsah,” which means to delight in, be pleased with, and to find acceptable in favorable sense.
But how does the inspired psalmist, who is David, the man after My own heart, tell you that you are in that shield? You are rejoicing and singing for joy as you love My Name (The LORD your Healer, Provider, Protector, Savior, Deliverer, Rock, Refuge, Fortress, Stronghold, Strength, Exceeding Joy, good Shepherd, and your Peace) and exult in all I have done for you.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2.
And that all leads up to what should be your question at this point: “How do I walk in Your perfect Will so that I may be surrounded by so great a protection and have this beautiful, abundant life?” And I have already answered that question for you and equipped you to do it, you need only walk it out.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:15-17.
Understand this, you always look for My Will for you in My Word. Even if an angel shows up and tells you a message, go check out first if it lines up with My written Word, if it is stout against it do not receive it.
No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15.
You will notice that when Gabriel brought messages to Zechariah, Mary, and Joseph I opened in his message the Scripture passages they fulfilled.
So how do you know how to live eternal life by walking in My perfect Will? It begins with the basic foundation and from there the rest will rise up and build the beautiful edifice of your life.
The Spirit, the Water, and the Blood these three testify to My perfect Will, which is eternal life in My Son starting now and never ending, walking you through all the trials of this life right on into the eternal Kingdom where everything is always new.
First, your sins are taken away by the Blood of My Son. And it is also by His bloody scourges you are healed and by His Blood your ransom is paid and all the charges against you are cleared. And this you receive by faith, as you do all My magnificent covenant promises for those who have entered the gate by the Blood sacrifice of My Son. And in this you rejoice always. For all eternity you rejoice in it.
Just take a glimpse into Kingdom with John in the Book of Revelations and you will see the believers are singing about how the Blood freed them and made them a kingdom and priests unto Me. Revelation 5:9-12.
Faith is the substance of (title deed to) things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. That is, if it is promised in My Word you can receive it by faith. There is cause for rejoicing here.
Do you know where I am headed now? If you know My Word and My Will for your life in Christ Jesus you already are quoting the Scripture.
After entering the gate by the unblemished Lamb and His atoning Blood, and that gate is Jesus, He is the only way into My perfect Will for your life. It is My Will that all people be saved and come to know the truth so they can walk in that truth and prosper and be in good health as their soul prospers.
This should be bringing to your mind the Tabernacle that I revealed to Moses that the redeemed built in the wilderness that led them to the promised land as I dwelt in their midst. There was no way to enter the outer court and have your sins taken off except by way of the bronze altar and your unblemished lamb of sacrifice and its shed blood as your burnt offering, sin offering, or guilt offering. And next came washing in the water of the laver before entering the inner court to partake of the bread of life, the light of the world, and the golden altar of the incense of prayer, and finally entering the Holy of Holies and speaking with Me in the Spirit.
So next is the Water. That is the water of My Word, in which the Holy Spirit regenerates you to a new creation in Christ with a born again spirit that is alive to Me and dead to sin. The Word is the incorruptible seed that brings you into the birth canal of the Word so you are no longer a slave to sin and death but born again unto eternal life. And then that same Word that birthed you cleanses and renews your mind so that your soul is also walking in the righteousness of the redeemed.
And that is what Jesus, My Word, does as He washes His body, the Church, and each of you as a member with the Word. This is renewing your mind to My Word and being transformed to walk in keeping.
And this is done ABOVE ALL BY PRAYER. But prayer of a particular kind. It is praying according to My Word. Not whining, begging, complaining, cajoling and getting after Me like a spoiled child whining and having tantrums at his or her parents until they give in to the child’s desire. It is taking hold of your Bible and digging in as you pray with Me and in My Spirit.
It is meditation on My Word day and night, praying My Word by speaking My promises and calling them in to receive them, and it is seeking and receiving revelation of My Word and how it applies to the situation you are praying about and seeking help, guidance, deliverance, direction and protection, as you look for the treasure vein of just the right Scripture that opens the answer to you.
This is hope, even in trials and dark valleys, confident expectation of My good will and My good Word coming to pass in your life. This is casting your care and receiving the answer, writing it down, and running with it.
This is unceasing prayer. Unceasing prayer waters the seed of My Word and brings it to harvest. And unceasing prayer is hope that will not disappoint.
Next comes thanksgiving. And that is the result of love. Love is thankful. Love is grateful for the Beloved. Love is in love with Love. And all good things return from love.
Two of the greatest miracles in the Bible were brought about by the voice of thanksgiving which was birthed in knowing and believing not only in My promises as expressed in My Word and in My Covenant Names but in the love I have for you that is behind those promises and backs them up. Magnify My Name and My Word in your life and not your problems and you will know sweet peace and victory.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your Name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your Word according to all Your Name. Psalm 138:2.
The voice of thanksgiving works wonders.
That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving and declare all Your wonders. Psalm 26:7.
And voice of thanksgiving is of the Spirit. It is of being filled with the Holy Spirit!
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking within yourself and to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father. Ephesians 5:18-20.
Spirit-sent songs from Heaven to fill you with love, thanksgiving, joy and peace. The fruit of the Spirit will be produced in your live and you will partake of the divine nature and so will all who hear your words and songs.
The Spirit, the Water, and the Blood—these three testify to that I have given you eternal life in My Son, in My living, working, eternal Word of life.
And faith, hope and love, these three remain in eternal life but the greatest of these is Love.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:12-13.
Now, do you know My Will for you who are in Christ? Yes, you do and, if not, read My Word as set forth in My apostle Paul’s letter to you first penned by My Spirit to the church in Thessalonica, “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Examine yourself now. Are you living eternal life? Are you in the shield of My Will? My perfect Will?
Are you rejoicing over the Blood shed for you that has set you free of sin, healed you, qualified you for your inheritance in Me? You are now of My bloodline and a joint heir with Christ of all I have in Heaven and on earth. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom and I have made you heir of the world. You have peace and reconciliation with Me through the blood of His Cross and you have been redeemed from your sins and from the curse of the law by the Blood of Jesus.
And rejoice in My promises and Covenant Names that are all YES to you now IN Christ Jesus.
Are you praying without ceasing so you are always aware of My presence by My Spirit in you and following His guidance, leading, revelation, and power? Are you delving into My Word and seeking the answers that you know you will find there? Are you praying it according to the instructions I gave Joshua which are for you as well on how to make your life prosper by unceasing prayer and the going out to do all that you were instructed by the revelation of My Word in prayer with Me? By the plans and vision you received in prayer so My Word can be performed in the earth through you dominion authority with My power? Are you washing in the water of My Word to take off the dust and the encumbrances of the world, the flesh, and the devil? Are you giving time to My Word and to praying over it, with it, and in it?
Are you giving constant thanks as you watch with love as My Word comes to pass? Do you see beauty for ashes? Do you put on the garment of praise in place of the spirit of heaviness (depression and fear)? Are you speaking and singing in the spirit and with your understanding? Are you grateful for others as you reach out to bring them into My everlasting Covenant of Love with you in Christ Jesus, your Lord, so they too can call Him Lord?
This is the basic “A, B, C” for My Will for you in Christ Jesus, but these three will bring in all the rest without limit, without ceasing, and forever increasing. And if you get perfect (complete) in it, you will have the hundredfold!
See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-24.
I love you. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give constant thanks, this is My Will for you in Christ Jesus. Start today and you will understand why. Faith, hope and love, these three remain and the greatest of these is love. The Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood testify and so must you. And that is My testimony to you too.
For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son. The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 1 John 5:7-12.
