For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:14.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
A prophet must be led by the Holy Spirit. And I desire that you all prophesy.
Do not lean on your own understanding, the appropriate Words—the wisdom for the moment, must come from the Spirit. A way may look right to a man, but its end is death.
My Spirit guides you to all truth, teaches you all things, and shares with you the things to come. In directing your paths and teaching you all things, He will teach you how to tread on the devil. No reason to run from the devil, walk right over him without stopping. He must flee from you.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19.
A highway will be there, a roadway, and it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for him who walks that way, and fools will not wander on it. No lion will be there, nor will any vicious beast go up on it; these will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the LORD will return and come with joyful shouting to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:8-10.
When Jesus was baptized in the Jordan by John, My Spirit descended upon Him and remained in Him and with Him. And the first thing He did was lead Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Why would He do that? To teach Him, for the Holy Spirit teaches you all things, how to respond to the devil and win every time. My Spirit taught Him how to play the devil’s diabolical game of chess and be a master chess player so that He would have checkmate every round.
My Spirit gives you wisdom and skill in your assignments in the earth. My Spirit taught Joseph how to govern the land of Egypt wisely in the years of plenty and the years of famine. My Spirit gave Moses the plans for the Tabernacle and taught him the laws and statutes for governing a nation and leading them to the promised land. My Spirit taught Bezalel and Oholiab how to make skillful artistic designs, tapestries, and do engraving on gemstones and how to build all the intricate furnishings of the Tabernacle, including the ark of the covenant and the golden lampstand.
My Spirit trained David’s hands for battle so that he could bend a bow of bronze and take down a whole troop of enemy soldiers. And My Spirit taught David how to shepherd and govern My people Israel.
My Spirit taught Daniel how to be the counselor for pagan kings through three separate empires and showed him things to come. I gave him wisdom to understand and interpret dreams and visions, which I also had done for Joseph. And as My prophet Joel spoke into the earth, you in the latter rain will now all prophesy, see visions and have dreams.
My Spirit taught Nehemiah how to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in a very quick time.
My Spirit directed and guided the community of the early followers of Jesus through many trials in spreading the good news of the gospel and the Kingdom.
My Spirit can teach you all things and guide you to all truth. The anointing lifts the burden and destroys the yoke.
There is no other way to prophesy than by My Spirit. “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6. In fact there is no other way to live and be successful in this life and the next but by My Spirit. And He is in you and with you forever.
You have to learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit. My children are led by My Holy Spirit. Obviously then, if you have entered Covenant with Jesus you are My child you can be led, guided, and taught by My Spirit. You can hear Me by My Spirit. He delves My deepest depths and shares My thoughts with you so you may know what I have freely given you.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 1 Corinthians 2:12-14.
It is time for you to become skillful at following the lead of the Holy Spirit if you want days of Heaven on earth. And if you want to prophesy there is no other way. To edify yourself you must be giving utterance to what the Spirit is praying in you, and to edify others you must be giving utterance to what the Spirit is speaking to you.
How do you hear from My Spirit? With joy you shall draw water from the springs of Salvation. To be sure you are hearing from My Spirit you have to be full of the Spirit. He has to flow in until He fills you and when you are full He can flow out of you. Rivers of living water to flood the earth with My glory as the waters cover the sea. You cannot give what you are not full of yourself.
Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” John 4:10.
You give good things to your children, how much more I will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Me. And Jesus baptizes you in the Holy Spirit, so once you are in Him ask Him to give you a drink and He will give you the living water of the Spirit. Let him who is thirsty come!
Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14.
Come draw that water that is pouring from My throne into the well in your spirit and leaping up to eternal life like a bubbling fountain filling you with joy and the Holy Spirit, draw up this living water. Remember when My people were in the desert I told them to make a well spring up by singing to it.
Then Israel sang this song: “Spring up, O well! Sing to it! Numbers 21:17.
And if you have any doubt Jesus explained to you that the living water of which He speaks is the Holy Spirit:
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:27-39.
And how do you get so full that then the rivers flow out of you to a thirsty world? You worship in Spirit and in truth. That is, in faith and in My Word. Spirit sent songs speaking My Word in faith.
But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24.
When you are looking for a Word from Me just when you or others need it, do not stop at your head and your own understanding but go down deeper into the depths of your heart to hear what My Spirit is speaking.
Trust unto the LORD with all your heart, and unto your own understanding lean not. In all your ways know Him, and He will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Trust in Me with ALL your heart, in every arena of your life—your health, your finances, your relationships. And do not try to support and encourage yourself on your own understanding without the Spirit. Your own knowledge without Me will not support you or give you any rest. In all your ways (paths, roads) KNOW Me and I will make your path straight smooth, good, and pleasing. My Spirit will lead you on level ground so you do not stumble or take detours.
Understand this, when you spend your days and nights with Me, that is, abiding in My presence by My Spirit in you and on you, you are spending your time with the God of the universe, the One who created the universe and sustains it. But not only the universe but everything that surrounds it, which is My Kingdom.
I know all, I am everywhere, and I hear every thought and word in My entire creation all at once and yet I know exactly where each is originating. I know you inside and out. I know everything about you and I formed you and planned you.
I never see a crowd as such, I see each individual and I see you to your very core, to your very essence, of who you are and what you have become in how you have shaped the life I gave you by your thoughts, words and deeds.
I am just but I am kind and merciful. I know how you are formed and just what you are capable of. But even more, I know the excellence you can reach in allowing My Spirit to lead you, guide you, and teach you.
I am a very personal God to you. I only move as I would like in your life if you open your heart and your life to Me in love. If you give Me your attention and your affection, I will be there for you at every moment to never leave you or forsake you.
No one is ever alone. If you seek Me with your heart you will find Me right there with you. Call to Me and I answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. I am happy to share all I am and have with you but that is limitless.
All things are contained and proceed forth from Me. I am life and I am the author of all life. I am love and I am light but that is life. Light for the life of men. When I spoke “Light be,” I was releasing My very essence into the creation of all things. And I am perfect in all My ways and thoughts. And I tell you to be perfect as I am perfect. And you do this by working with My Spirit to share My thoughts, My ways, My Words, and to be enabled by My power that works in you beyond all you can ask or imagine.
And if you love My Words and keep them, Jesus and I come to make our home in you. You become My address in the world.
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. John 14:23.
The only way to hear from and be led by My Spirit is by obedience to My Word. When you keep My Word it shows Me your love and that I can trust with My Words and messages, with My secrets, and I take up My dwelling with you and in you by My Spirit. You become My address. You can say you love Me all you want, but if you do not obey My Words you do not love Me.
He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. John 14:24.
Obedience is the key to hearing from Me and being led. If you do not obey, My Spirit will be silent and let you go your own way. Be very careful about being faithful in your thoughts. I tell you not to think on certain things and then I tell you what to think on. Do not be lenient with yourself on this. It determines whether you will hear from Me or not. For if you do not follow what I tell you, what is the good of My speaking to you? It just causes you to sin.
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. John 15:22.
If you are willing and obey you shall have the best of the land by the guidance, direction, correction, instruction, and revelation of My Spirit in you.
It is very important you get serious about obeying in the little things each day, such as what you allow yourself to think on and what you speak for if you are not faithful in little things, I cannot entrust you with greater. If you desire to be a prophet to the nations that moves presidents and kings and goes about My business of saving souls and delivering My messages start where you are with being serious about watching your thoughts. No depression or bitterness, that is self-pity and a pitiful prophet will never do.
I love you. The most important thing you can do for yourself and those around you is to get filled with the Holy Spirit so that you always know just what to say and what to do. You can live that way. Begin today to step aside each day and pray and sing in the Spirit till you draw up the appropriate Word for you and others. And never neglect to read, speak and hear My Word until it speaks to you by My Spirit who breathed it into being from My very depths.
