As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

From the beginning I entrusted man with stewardship of the work of My hands, of My Words, and of the assignments I give each one of you. I entrusted Adam with the stewardship of the Garden of Eden and of My Words and he was unfaithful and unfruitful in both.

Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and guard it. The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.” Genesis 2:15-17.

Adam’s failure to steward My Word, to control where he put his attention and what he did with his mouth, robbed him of his stewardship of the abundant and blessed Garden I had given him to cultivate and guard. If you do not guard your heart you will lose your stewardship, for the mouth speaks from the abundance of your heart. It is what you are thinking and saying that will produce what you are doing and how you are influencing others.

Adam turned from My very clear instructions for a successful stewardship of what I had entrusted to him to take dominion over, guard and replenish, which was not limited to the garden but encompassed the entire earth. Genesis 1:28.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26.

That is stewardship of the entire planet that I gave you. And I have not changed My mind.

But dominion and rule was given by words and it is kept by words. A king rules by his word. He decrees a thing and so it is carried out.

Whether you are keeping stewardship of small things or a tremendous amount of wealth and a thriving enterprise, the success and excellence, and your enjoyment of assignment, all rests on one thing: if you are a good steward of your thoughts and words, making sure that they are in agreement with your master. For a steward that is not acting in the master’s interest must be removed from that position.

Now He was also saying to the disciples, “There was a rich man who had a steward and this steward was reported to him as squandering his possessions. And he called him and said to him, ‘What is this I hear about you? Give an accounting of your stewardship, for you can no longer be steward.’” Luke 16:1-2.

He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much. And that all comes from your words.

Do you see yourself as the steward of the gifts, songs, Words, revelations, ministry gifts and insights I give you? Or do you see them as not valuable and keep them to yourself because you think others are wiser, more skilled, younger, more mature, better speakers, or better looking than you? Or do you see them as privileges, graces, and honors from Me that you are grateful for and want to share with others? The gifts, songs, Words, and revelations I give to you are not just for you but for others as well.

And the children, family members, students, friends, co-workers, clients, the duties and responsibilities of your work in your job and at your home, I entrust these to you to give you the privilege of stewarding them. Or do you just look at these responsibilities as burdensome, irritating and unpleasant? Or do you see them as privileges, graces, and honors from Me that you are grateful for and want to do your best to carry out the good works of your Master?

Never take what I entrust to you lightly or with scorn. People, gifts, ministry, and walking in love are treasures to treat with loving care for the one who fills your days with good things.

And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time? Blessed is that steward be whom his master finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But if that steward says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers. And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. Luke 12:42-48.

I want you to be a good steward of the gifts and callings I give to you as good stewards of My manifold grace. So I pour My life, that is, grace, into you so that you can steward it into the earth for the benefit of all. And do not say you do not have a ministry because each of you do have an assignment to witness to the good news of Jesus and the Kingdom, to pray for others, such as government leaders, the lost, and your brethren in Christ, as well as to minister in accordance with your special gift as I direct in respect to whoever and whatever I lead you to or send your way each day.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10.

But if you will take a look at all the things I have just mentioned, the foundation and core of your stewardship is your words—what you are speaking into your life and the lives of those whom I have sent to you and placed in your care. And today with mass media and the great attention people give to their electronic devises in relating to the world and finding information, your stewardship can be as I gave the first man and woman, over the entire earth. And the stewardship I gave to Abraham was that in him all the families of the earth would be blessed. Genesis 12:3. And for his faith in Me (he amened My promises to him) and how he taught that Word to all his household and descendants, I honored him and his line by entrusting to them My Word and not just My spoken (Abrahamic Covenant) and My written Word (Mosaic Covenant), but My manifested Word dwelling among you, the Messiah took flesh from Abraham’s line (the New Covenant). That was an amazing stewardship that has touched and blessed every family on earth. And what was that stewardship all about? Keeping, cherishing, preserving, sharing, cultivating and guarding My Word, treating it with respectful awe, treating it as sacred and holy as Me.

For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. Romans 4:13.

Your stewardship, to be successful before Me must be done by faith, because the only way you can connect with Me is by faith. And faith speaks. The spirit of faith is that you believe in your heart and speak with your mouth. And faith in Me and My assignment for your stewardship can only come one way—by My Word. And for you to carry it out, My Word must become your word as well. And you must see it as it really is, not just the word of men, but of Me, as sacred and holy, as valuable and precious. As a treasure entrusted to you for your stewardship.

Moreover, He said to me, “Son of man, take into your heart all My Words which I will speak to you and listen attentively. Go to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listen or not, ‘Thus says the Lord (Adonai) LORD (YHWH).’” Ezekiel 3:10-11.

Do not worry if those you are stewarding reject you. You will notice that all the parables My Son told about stewards it was about their relationship with and faithfulness to their master who had thought highly enough of them that he was willing to entrust his property to them for stewarding. It was to the master they would give an account.

Even though Jacob’s son Joseph was sold as a slave to Potiphar, Potiphar found Joseph so valuable that he put him in charge of all he possessed and Joseph’s diligence and faithfulness made Potiphar into a prosperous man and he in turn made Joseph into a prosperous man as well.

Now his master saw that the LORD was with him and how the LORD caused all that he did to prosper in his hand. So Joseph found favor in his sight and he served him; and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he owned he put in his hand. Genesis 39:4.

I honor you by entrusting wonderful gifts, talents, and good things to you. Joseph, even in the circumstances of being a slave did his works unto Me as a good and faithful steward of the gifts I have given him and I gave him favor and prospered him. And I desire to see the beautiful gifts and things I give you prosper in your hand. I desire to see you enjoy them. I have made everything for you to richly enjoy. As I planned and created the world for you I did not finish working each day until I looked at what I had done and saw it was good. And when I had finished and made you, I saw it was all very good.

And I was so excited to give it to you and watch with joy as you had joy in all that I had made. I only wanted you to know good. And that was why I told Adam not to eat of the knowledge of good and evil, just good. And I do not change. I still ask that of you today. Eat the good and spit out the evil. The evil will take you down into darkness but you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in Jesus; walk as children of Light, for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth. Ephesians 5:8-9.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:16-17.

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5.

I love you. Be stewards of My Light in a dark world.

Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding forth the word of life. Philippians 2:14-16.
