The LORD said to Moses, “Is the LORD’s power limited? Now you shall see whether My Word happens for you or not.” Numbers 11:22.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
My Words have power in them. My power. My Words are containers of My power. That is why I liken them to seed. A seed may look small and insignificant in many people’s eyes but to a farmer it does not. It is his prosperity, when planted and released into the soil it does not just stay a seed, it produces first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. It turns out to be a lot more than you planted.
Great, tall trees grow from very small seeds. Never underestimate the power in My Word. Just three words change your entire life and give you My Kingdom now and forever. And what are those words of eternal life? “Jesus is Lord.”
And He was saying, “The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows—how, he himself does not know. The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” Mark 4:26-29.
And to have an abundant harvest, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold, it starts with the preparation of the soil.
You visit the earth and cause it to overflow; You greatly enrich it; the stream of God is full of water; You prepare their grain, for thus You prepare the earth. You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth. You have crowned the year with Your bounty, and Your paths drip with fatness. The pastures of the wilderness drip, and the hills gird themselves with rejoicing. The meadows are clothed with flocks and the valleys are covered with grain; they shout for joy, yes, they sing. Psalm 65:9-13.
You cannot grow seed in hard stony ground that it cannot penetrate, the birds will eat it up quickly for the seed is resting on the top unprotected. If you just put a layer of topsoil and underneath the stone has not been broken up and the earth softened with showers, the seed will not be able to put down roots and it will wither. And even with softer soil, if you don’t clear the weeds and thorns, the seed will get choked off and not mature.
Behold, the sower went out to sow; as he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 4:3-9.
And this was the first parable My Son taught, about sowing and growing seed. For My Word is seed to the sower and bread to the eater. He was teaching you how to receive and grow My Word in the soil of your heart.
“The sower sows the word. These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy; and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:14-20.
So you see the soil matters and the quality and amount of seed you plant matters.
He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7.
And what words you sow will grow. Remember the parable My Son told about the weeds that got planted in the field of fine wheat? Jesus told you who planted them, the devil’s hand was in it. Careful that you are not taking and cultivating his seed (words) in your heart, for his words are not of the spirit but of the flesh. And the mind set on the flesh is death.
The devil is constantly trying to steal My Word from you and replace it with the corrupted seed of his lies to keep you from producing what is in My Word, for he knows My Word has the power to do the work it promises.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 3:8.
And how well you cultivate seed as it grows, such as clearing weeds, thorns, etc. that would cut off the growth matters in the crop produced and keeping away insects, birds, foxes, and other animals that would eat up and harm your crops also is of great importance if you want to harvest what the seed produces.
“Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, while our vineyards are in blossom.” Song of Songs 2:15.
Little foxes. They gnaw at things and undermine their strength and production. It can be such things as gossip, anger, addictions, guilt and shame, offense, bitter roots, depression and the like. Things that hinder your growth and your fellowship with Me. And hindrances do not have to be what you would normally so consider such as blatant sins, they are also whatever I am dealing with you about that you are not doing.
I am dealing with you about something if I keep, by My Spirit in you, bringing it up to you. It could be that I have told you to reconcile with someone in your family that you have not been speaking with or whom you have nursed resentment towards for many years and you just have not done it. Not necessarily because you are being rebellious but just because you have not committed yourself to giving that resentment that now is a habit up. It could be you are not tithing because you think you cannot give that money to your church and still have enough to pay all your bills, but that will stop your blessing and keep you from being able to pay your bills because you have not shut the door to the devil stealing from you.
It could be your talking about your boss at work in a negative and degrading manner, and you know I keep bringing it up to you but you just keep doing it thinking that it is really all right to do that because of the way your boss behaves. It could be advocating things that I call perverted and sinful, or even doing them yourself being lulled into thinking as the world does.
It could just be that you talk too much and get yourself into trouble that way. It could be cleaning out the clutter in your house. It could be I have told you to give a sum of money that is large to person you know but are not even particularly fond of or have anything much to do with and you decided that direction could not have been from Me, but it keeps coming up when you go to fellowship or pray to Me and it is hindering perfect fellowship.
It could be just being thankful for your spouse or children instead of always concentrating on their faults.
It could just be resting more, drinking more water, and taking better care of your health, and yet you are so busy you do not think you have any time for that.
Look in your heart now and see, you will know what I mean, if I just keep bringing something up. Some people just want to hear about healing and I keep bringing up how they are treating their spouse and they are wondering what that has to do with their receiving healing. Well, it has a lot to do with receiving. If you have unforgiveness for another it clogs up your pipeline of faith, so to speak, and even though I am showering down My blessings for you, they cannot penetrate through the clogs.
You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. 2 Peter 3:7.
If I have been dealing about something for some time now, it is time you obeyed and did it. It is not that I have not forgiven you, I have. I know you love Me and desire to walk in the truth but it is hindering My perfect work in your life and the rewards I have for you. If you will just be willing and obey, then you will eat the best of the land. I am trying to position you for success.
Even if you have been putting off and not doing what I have been bringing up to you, it is not too late. You still have time before My Son returns to deal with what I am dealing with you about. For once He returns to catch you up in the clouds, it will be too late for you to give that person the money, or for you to begin treating your spouse or children as treasures, or whatever else it is. Obedience has great reward, even if it is delayed obedience.
But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in the vineyard.’ And he answered, ‘I will not’; but afterward he regretted it and went. The man came to the second and said the same thing; and he answered, ‘I will, sir’; but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Matthew 21:28-31.
There are some things I will deal with you about that are clearly My Word and there should be no hesitation on your part to act thereupon with haste. Such as tithing, stopping gossip, praying for and talking with respect about those in authority, and a host of other laws you will find in My Word, but sometimes, such as giving a sum of money to a certain person or taking a certain job or moving to another city, it is not clear to you whether it is truly My voice and something you should run off and do. Let Me tell you how to handle this type of hearing, and the answer is not complicated: Ask Me about it. Work it through with Me. Ask Me to confirm it with two or three witnesses. And do nothing about it until you have peace in your heart about it. You go out with joy and are led forth by peace.
“For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12.
And always remember, if you have missed it out of weakness, do not despair that you are not forgiven and cannot be healed and blessed because you sinned. I give you the solution, you who are Mine, confess your sin to Me, repent, and I cleanse you of all unrighteousness and you are right back on course. And I am the LORD your healer and I have not changed My Name and never will. My Will is always to heal. That is not the question, the question is will you receive that power, it is in My Word, or is your pipeline so clogged you cannot eat and swallow My Word?
I love you, get rid of the little foxes, they are stealing the Word from you, you are letting it get eaten right out from under you. Time you put down your foot, went to the table, and ate until you are fully persuaded and able to put My Word to work. If you have a need, plant the seed that addresses that and make sure you are cultivating it. Dwell in the land and feed on faithfulness and truth. And make sure you gather your harvest and do not let the enemy steal it.
