Be alert, you know not the day or the hour! Matthew 25:13.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
A home without the Word is no home at all, and a household without the Word will not stand. It will divide and fall at the first shaking. If you are not leading your family in the Word of truth you will not have a united family very long. With no Word, you have no awareness of the devil’s lies and you easily adopt his thoughts and words which are malicious, filthy, angry, fearful, proud, selfish, impure, and abusive. By not being aware of his trickery to influence you with his thoughts and unclean character you will quickly give in to offense, disrespect, and ill will towards one another and towards Me. Like Adam and Eve and their children, who became murderers and thieves with only evil thoughts. How did that happen? They rejected My Words of life and gave their lives into the hands of Satan and His words of death. Under his word all struggle to have the advantage over the other, to be their own source. If Adam had seen what he was letting into his home and family in that ancient serpent he would have been on the alert and not allowed the devil to enter his home. I had warned him to keep and guard the Garden.
But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Matthew 24:43.
If your work environment is without the Word that business will be full of strife, jealousy, and factions. Anywhere there is no Word there is no redemption. Why? There is no alertness to the tactics of Satan, they are readily adopted by those in that environment.
Be sober, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8.
Be alert! Alert to what? And how do you stay alert at all times?
There are basically two things I tell you often to be alert to, the return of Jesus, “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.” Matthew 24:42, and the schemes and tactics of the devil. “So that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.” 1 Corinthians 2:11.
And that breaks down into the following: alert to and aware of the signs of the times, alert to My warnings, alert to My directions and My leading, alert to correction that I give you, and alert to revelations I impart. And this can be summed up in that you must be alert to My Word and My Spirit within you.
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21.
It all comes back again to the Word and My Spirit and the Blood of Jesus, the Spirit, the water, and the blood, these three testify in agreement to eternal life in Jesus and the blood, the water, and the Spirit in and on you will save you, cleanse you, redeem you, protect you, and put resurrection power in you. These three will make you alert and aware to what is going on not just in the temporal around you but what is going on around you in the true and eternal spiritual realm.
For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18.
By feasting on My Word and being full of the Holy Spirit (in you and on you) you will know what to expect in what you are seeing now upon the earth and how to deal with it. And taking up My armor, which is being surrounded, upheld, and renewed in your mind by My Word, I can keep you in perfect protection in My secret place, which is most high.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11.
But also remember that if you should not remain until the catching up of the Church, then you will have a day and hour when Jesus returns just for you to bring you to the place He has prepared for you by His life, death, and resurrection. Be constantly on the look out so that you may be found doing My works that I prepared for you in advance and not the plan of the devil for your life when I come for you. Do not be unaware of the devil’s tactics for he is very busy trying to steal My Word from you, that is, trying to get you to leave the banquet table, and steal your destiny away from you and take control in the earth through your dominion authority, just as he did with Adam.
So how do you stay alert at all times and not get pulled into the temporal and lose precious time in unfruitful thoughts, words, and pursuits that you really would not want to be found doing if I returned for you at that moment?
This may sound too simple but it is the answer: Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks, this is My Will for you in Christ Jesus so that I can preserve you complete, and without blame at the coming of your Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-23. Satan and his demons cannot move in joy, prayer and thanks, there is no room for them to come in if you are filled with those. But how do you get full of those, by knowing who I am and knowing My Word, for My Word is full of magnificent promises that make you PARTAKERS of My divine nature. I SET A BANQUET OF MY WORD BEFORE YOU – THE QUESTION IS ARE YOU PARTAKING?
For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:4.
Have you ever noticed how when people get scared, upset, nervous, depressed, feel guilty, lonely, or worried, they often run and eat sweet things such as deserts and candies and just keep stuffing them in and even eating a whole container of ice cream? And this is so common that psychologists research this response and call them “comfort” foods, which also include mashed potatoes with gravy, chips, and fried chicken. Others run to alcohol or drugs to get that emptiness and fear inside filled up. But his actually will not release you from what is tormenting you, but will make it worse for your body and soul, for feeding your flesh unhealthy substances and food will never fill your spirit and soul with restoration, rejuvenation, and joy. Man cannot thrive on bread alone but will thrive on every Word from My mouth.
Stuffing yourself with things of the flesh will never fill your emotional and spiritual needs because you have gone to the wrong table to find the food and drink that will fill you so full that you will have joy unspeakable filled with glory. Be so full of My Word that everything from the devil’s fiery darts that you have swallowed as bait is driven and flushed out. Once you are filled with My goodness, then you will not so much as give a glance as your enemies watch you eating a huge helping of the healing (children’s bread), My Words which are SWEETER than honey dripping from the comb, and drinking the delightful new wine of the Holy Spirit.
Fill up on the grain, the new wine, and the fresh oil until your head (mind) is anointed and your cup (your vessel) is running over with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Feed on righteousness, feed on My faithfulness, feed on the truth, taste and see My goodness, and let Me dine with you.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20.
And it is then I can train your hands for battle so you can bend a bow of bronze and take down a whole army as you leap over a wall. You have to feed to fight. And you have to feed your faith to take down the devil and tread on him because then you know what to answer to every ugly charge and storm he raises against you.
I am the God of all comfort. My Words are comfort food for I am My Word.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your Word has revived me. Psalm 119:50.
“Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God. “Speak to the heart of Jerusalem; and call out to her, that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity has been removed, Isaiah 40:1-2.
My Words are full of comfort, for they tell the sick you are healed by the bloody scourges of Jesus and He bore you illnesses and pains, they tell the guilty and condemned, you are forgiven and I took away your sins from you forever by putting them on Jesus and punishing Him in your place, they tell the people in financial hardship that I will supply all their needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus and that He is their good shepherd leading them to green pastures and prosperity, and they tell you that I am your righteousness, your peace, your refuge, your strength. They tell you that I love you and gave My Son so you can have eternal life. They tell you that you are more than a conqueror and they give you the grace and the power to be that by the Spirit, the water and the blood. I gave you My Word, the Blood of Jesus as your ransom, the Name of Jesus, My Covenant Names, and My Spirit. Get full of that and you have no need of stuffing yourself with worldly deserts and alcohol. Mine is much better and is very good for you, for My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. And My Words are not hard to find, they are all spread out before you on the table I provide in the sight of all that is trying to take you down. Just come and eat.
Jesus My Word told you just to come to Him when you are weary and find life burdensome and He would give you rest. How? With My Words He will teach you of promise of shabbat shalom.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and LEARN from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.
Be alert. Be aware. Know what table to run to when Satan attacks. And it is easy to discern when he attacks because fear will try to invade your soul and a host of other negative emotions (unclean spirits) that will try to drag you int to darkness. But you have a good Shepherd with you that leads you out of the dark valley of the shadow of death to the table of plenty in My house in the sight of your enemies. Run to that table and the only way you get out of the dark valley to the table in My house is through the gates with thanksgiving and into the courts with praise. And that is not Satan’s lifestyle so he can never get in to partake at that table. You go out with joy, “And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with a joyful shout,” Psalm 105:43, and are led forth with peace. Isaiah 55:12.
I love you. There is only one way you can continually trample on the devil and take down every one of his fiery darts and storms and that is by being so full of My Word that all you can do is rejoice always, pray (fellowship with Me) without ceasing, and give constant thanks for the victory over sin and death and everything that goes with those. And you don’t need earthly alcohol when you get filled with My Spirit by speaking to yourself in songs, psalms, hymns and spirit songs. Stick with Me at My table and all will be well. Shalom, shalom all is well.
