But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10..
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
When Adam sinned it plunged the world into darkness. He snuffed out the life in his spirit and that life was the Light of men. John 1:4. In accepting the lies of the devil as above the truth of My Word, he was born again of the devil’s corruptible seed as he rejected the incorruptible seed of My Word, which is truth. He brought something unknown to him into the world, death.
Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12.
He went from the realm of light to the realm of darkness and transferred all born of his seed there with him. You are born a citizen of the jurisdiction in which your parents reside.
And hiding in the darkness of sin, Adam rejected the light because his deeds were evil.
This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. John 3:19-20.
But I never wanted any of you to live in the realm of darkness. That was not My plan and that was not to be your life. My plan of creation began with Light. Light for the life of men.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:1-4.
And the creation as expressed by My Spirit through My beloved apostle John tells you that the light is in My Word.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. John 1:1-5.
And the light of eternal life is in the incorruptible seed of My Word, by which you were formed and born.
There was the true Light which enlightens every person coming into the world which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of bloods nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:9-14.
I am Light. And I am My Word, so My Word is Light. The Light of the world. When you walk in the Word, you walk in the Light. And it illumines all the darkness around you.
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7.
There is no darkness in Me at all. I live in Light and I made you as children of Light, in My own image and according to My likeness. So, I did not just sit back and let Adam’s sin destroy My people. I had a plan which would bring you back into My own marvelous light. I was determined to transfer you from the realm of darkness into the light and qualify you for your inheritance in My Kingdom of Light. Back into the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Light. And I sent My Son, the Word, to bring the Light back to you. And My prophet Isaiah had a word for Galilee where My Son would establish Him ministry, “The people who walk in darkness have seen a great light. Those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them.” Isaiah 9:2.
And what brought that great light? “For a child is born to us, a Son is given to us; and on His shoulders dominion rests. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace. Isaiah 9:6-7.
And that child of Light is Jesus (Yeshuah, which means “Salvation”) whom I sent to undo the works of the devil and rescue you from the power of darkness and transfer you into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, who is none other than the Light of the world.
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12.
Your good Shepherd leads you out to the darkness where you were scattered and into the promised land of light, life, and love.
For thus says the Lord (Adonai) LORD (YHWH), “Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd cares for his flock in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. Ezekiel 34:11-12.
Darkness cannot overcome light once it enters. I was looking to send My Light into the world and for light bearers that would return to Me and carry that light into the world once I lit their lamps with the light of life once again.
And the light I sent was My Word and My Word became flesh and I lit up the world for all those who were willing to come into the light.
Jesus said much about Himself as the light coming into the world of darkness to dispel the darkness and bring you into the Light.
“I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness. John 12:46.
Jesus has redeemed you out of darkness to light. He has paid your ransom to Me with His Blood. He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light. Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men, to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life. Job 33:28-30.
Adam’s sin took you from light to darkness. Jesus reversed that curse and took you from darkness to light. The Sun of righteousness has risen with healing in its rays.
The light is back.
I love you. In fact, I so loved you I gave you My only Son, to bring you back into the light where all good things are available. It is not time to give up, it is time to enjoy the light. Come live in the light of My Love.
