Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be established. Proverbs 16:3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
If you abide in Me, I solve all your problems and bless all your endeavors. And that is living in the Light.
When you live in the shelter of My Word by walking in the light, you are saved from your enemies, you are abiding in My Hand. And there is no snatching out of My hand.
I have put My Words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of My hand to establish Heaven upon the earth. That may not sound like light to you but it is.
His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, and there is the hiding of His power. Habakkuk 3:4.
Let us go back to when I redeemed My covenant people, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, out of Egypt, these were My anointed people of the Covenant I had made with Abraham and his descendants. And now, in Christ, you are the anointed of My New and everlasting Covenant, for the anointing on the head of your High Priest pours down upon His body from the least to the greatest member. And I have anointed Him with the oil of joy. In My presence there is fullness of joy. When you walk in My Light, the Light of My Word of power, you will have joy, for like My apostle Paul discovered, you can be content in every circumstance when you know Me as your deliverer.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19.
Do you recall that I led My people, whom I redeemed from slavery, out of Egypt and to the Promised Land by a pillar of cloud in the day and in the night you could see the column of fire burning in the cloud of My presence? I was traveling with them and showing them the way to go.
And when they left Egypt after the Passover meal, healed and loaded with silver and gold, they thought they were safe to depart. But Pharaoh’s heart turned and he sent his charioteers to go capture them and bring them back to slavery.
The devil will always make an effort no matter how healed, blessed or favored you are to drag you back into sickness, lack, lies, evil deeds, lust, depression, addictions, and self-condemnation to take you captive to do his will again, but you are not without recourse. You have Me.
So when I saw the Egyptian army begin pursuit of My redeemed people as they were leaving Egypt, I led My people to a place that looked like somehow I had not understood the problem. If you do not know and believe in My love for you and My care for you, you may not trust that I have a good plan and try to return to the slavery you were in before because it seems safer than where you are now. But I knew exactly what I was doing and I was leading them to the solution which was one of the most strategic battle strategies ever directed.
My people had no weapons or chariots to fight the formidable army of the Egyptians, so I turned their direction from the land route to Mt. Sinai to go down through a canyon onto the beach at the edge of the Red Sea. When the Egyptians followed in hot pursuit, the people were only looking at the circumstances and not Me and they were in a panic. It seemed I had led them into a trap, the sea on one side and an army on the other and the only way out was the canyon that was filled with chariots coming to attack them. But they did not see the path I had prepared under the sea since the foundation of the world that would be their deliverance and the defeat of the Egyptians who were seeking to steal their new found freedom. The Egyptians had gone too far and it was time to stop them.
They were accusing Me of redeeming them with such great signs and wonders just to bring them out so they could die. And in talking like that, they would have lost and died if Moses had not told them to hold their peace and just follow what I directed and how I led them. I told him to tell them to go forward and they would see a miracle.
But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Take your stand and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever. The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent.” Exodus 14:13-14.
And I say that to you too, just keep walking through the dark valley with your good Shepherd until you get out of the valley to My Holy Mountain.
O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain and to Your dwelling place. Psalm 43:3.
By then it was night, so the Israelites had to camp for they needed the daylight to cross. And I kept My people from the evil intentions of Pharaoh to take My people back to slavery in a very special way. The devil will try to take you back into the slavery of sin and death even though I have rescued you from him in Christ, do not return to slavery a second time.
But I go before you, am with you, and am your rear guard. Remember that.
For the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. Isaiah 52:12.
How did I shelter My people from the evil one? I kept them in the light but hid them in My secret place, under My shadow.
The angel of God, who had been going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them. So it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud along with the darkness, yet it gave light at night. Thus the one did not come near the other all night. Exodus 14:19-20.
I put a thick darkness as a hedge around them so the enemy could not discover them but they were inside the shadow of My hand in My light. Dark on the side of the enemy but light on the side of My covenant people, those of the anointing. I am a saving defense to My anointed ones. Psalm 28:8.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. Psalm 91:1-4.
In My secret place and under My shadow, under My pinions, these are the wings of the angels, for I am the LORD of Hosts and I am enthroned upon the cherubim, you are in perfect protection even in the midst of what looks like certain death. I have given My angels command to guard you in all of your ways. Psalm 91:11-12.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. Psalm 34:7.
And that is just what happened with My people at the edge of the Red Sea.
Abide in the shadow of My hand, you will be covered so that the enemy cannot even see you through it to strike you but you will be discerning all from the light emanating into you from the palm of My hand.
I told Moses to tell the sons of Israel to go forward. And I told Moses to lift up his staff and stretch out his hand over the sea and divide it, so the sons of Israel would be able to go through the midst of the sea on dry land. And as the Egyptians saw the Israelites escaping from their grasp to go to the other side of the sea, they knew they either had to go back the way they came or pursue the Israelites through the Red Sea. They decided upon the latter. And that was their mistake. The way I make for you is not made so Satan can pursue you further. It is to cut him off at the pass. I deliver you out of all the harm he tries to bind you with.
The sons of Israel went through the midst of the sea on the dry land, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. Then the Egyptians took up the pursuit, and all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots and his horsemen went in after them into the midst of the sea. At the morning watch, the LORD looked down on the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud and brought the army of the Egyptians into confusion. He caused their chariot wheels to swerve, and He made them drive with difficulty; so the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from Israel, for the LORD is fighting for them against the Egyptians.” Exodus 14:22-25.
Submit to My Word, resist the devil by answering him with My Word and refusing to step out from peace, and he will flee from you.
And when My people had all crossed with all their goods and the treasures I had given them, I instructed Moses to again raise his staff over the sea, and when he did it went back to its normal molecular structure of a liquid rather than a solid. The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen, Pharaoh’s entire army that had gone into the sea after My people to capture or kill them was no more upon the face of the earth.
I fight for you and I have you covered. How? You are in My hand because you are in the hand of the good Shepherd.
I raised Jesus from the dead by the Blood of the eternal Covenant as your great good Shepherd,
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21.
And I have equipped you in Him with every good thing and you who are His followers are in His hand, and in His hand you are in My hand for we are One.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30.
You are in His hand and His hand is My hand. He has always been the arm I reach down to save you.
Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? Isaiah 53:1.
And there in that the shadow of My hand, the wings of My angels cover you from the attacks of the enemy, but the Light is in My hands. I have surrounded you in deep darkness but you are sheltered in the place of Light where I can impart light to you.
But this time it is not a cloud but the hand of your good Shepherd. Not a cloud but a Person. A good Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. He does not desert you when a wolf comes, with His rod and His staff He drives all harm away and leads you to the place you should be.
He shields you from all harm. And in Him you have the light of life. No follower of His ever walks in darkness.
And it is in the shadow of My hand that the enemy cannot touch you.
We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18.
If you will stay in the Light I can protect you. Be like My Son and give no place to the devil, live in the light for I have anointed you, and I save My anointed.
“Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.” Psalm 105:15.
I love you. I led you out of darkness into My marvelous light. Live in the Light and stay in the shadow of My hand.
