Yet You are holy, O You who dwell in the praises of Israel. Psalm 22:3.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

I dwell in your praises. The word translated as “dwell,” “inhabit,” and even “enthroned,” in various translations is the Hebrew word “yashab (יָשַׁב),” which means to abide, to sit, to remain, to dwell. And the word translated “praises” is Tehillim in the plural and tehillah (תְּהִלָּה) in the singular, which mean songs of praise, praises, it is the Hebrew name for the book of Psalms. It is their hymn book. I tell you that Paul and Silas were singing hymns in the prison at Philippi, they were singing the Psalms.  And Jesus sang them too.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; 28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins . . . After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Matthew 26:26-28, 30.

Now listen carefully if we want to be dwelling in My secret place night and day, which is the only way to live in the world but be above the world and its darkness and lusts. It is in the praises that the glory rests, it is in the praises that the darkness must flee, it is in the praises that you reap the harvest, it is in the praises that you and I abide in perfect harmony and your life becomes a symphony of wonders, it is in the praises that the anointing comes, and it is in the praises that joy comes.

I do not dwell in your complaining, bitterness, fear, and evil speaking, another dwells there, it is the prince of darkness who is the deceiver of the whole world. And the devil and I have nothing in common any more than light and truth have with darkness and lies. They cannot co-exist. You choose life or death, you choose where you will spend your day. And that choice will determine your healing, your fruitfulness, and your reward.

If you want Me to make My abode with you and you to dwell with Me in My house, in the secret place, you must make your heart a garden of praises and your life a hymn of joy. The secret place is filled with joyful songs of deliverance and victory. The place where you hear the shout of joy.

The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation (Yeshuah). The sound of joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly. The right hand of the LORD is exalted. The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. I will not die, but live, and tell of the works of the LORD! Psalm 118:14-17.

Yes, the secret place is a place of songs of praise. And you are not singing there alone. I am singing there as well, songs of deliverance, songs of rejoicing, and of joyful shouting. In fact, that is how I deliver you from trouble. You go out with joy and then you are led by peace. Joy brings peace and peace brings joy. That is how I led My people out of the slavery of Egypt:

And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with a  joyful shout and joyful songs. Psalm 105:43.

And Moses picked it up and wrote the first song recorded in the Bible as a result of that great deliverance:

The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him. Exodus 15:2.

In Hebrew there are many words for joy. Simchah, sason, rinnah, giyl, to name a few, but all have to do with singing and shouting, even with ringing cries. When you have joy it shows. Joy is not silent, it manifests. Happy the people who know the joyful shout.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. Psalm 95:2.

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed. Psalm 71:23.

Jesus is the Messiah (Christ), that means the anointed one who would come to save you, deliver you from slavery to sin and death, set the oppressed and captives free, heal blind eyes, deaf ears, crippled limbs, and every kind of sickness and disease, reveal Me, tell you all things, bring a time of refreshment and jubilee, and give you eternal life. He came to pay your ransom by His eternal blood. And what do I tell you that I anointed Him with to empower Him to do all these things? THE OIL OF JOY.

But of the Son He says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your companions.” Hebrews 1:9; Psalm 45:7.

And that is what you need also to complete your Kingdom assignment on the earth. Joy.

When David sinned he knew what he needed to go forward;

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. Psalm 51:12.

David identifies by My Spirit what you need to go forward with all I have planned for your life: a clean heart, a steadfast spirit, My Holy Spirit, and the joy of My Salvation.

How do I cleanse your heart? With My Word. Jesus told His disciples they were clean because of the Words He had spoken to them. My Words are pure and when you renew your mind by My Word to think as I do and speak only as I do you are transformed (metamorphosis) and walk as a new creation in Christ. I am pure, My Word is pure, and in Me you are pure for I have given you the mind of Christ, that is the mind of the anointing. And it is the anointing of the joy of My Salvation, the anointing of Yeshuah. He is your High Priest and the head of the Body and that anointing drips down the head to the body to the very end of His garment. And I have clothed you in the garments of Salvation. When you believed and were baptized into Christ, you clothed yourself in Christ.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your fellows. All Your garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made You glad. Psalm 45:7-8.

My Words not only cleanse you but they also give you joy. Jesus gave His disciples joy by sharing My Word with them.

These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. John 15:11.

When Jeremiah found My Words, he not only found  life but they became the joy and delight of his heart. Jeremiah 15:16. My Words are full of magnificent promises, that are all “yes” to you in My Word  made flesh, Jesus, that become the joy of your heart when things otherwise look threatening. Psalm 119:111.

When Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah, in answer to their cry to Me, heard the words of the prophet that rose up among them from the Levite singers and gave them the word of victory from Me, though it looked impossible, were filled with joy and they shouted and sang praise and thanksgiving and that alone leveled the three enemy armies so that they never rose up again.

What am I telling you? That if you want miracles, healings, signs, wonders, in your life and the lives of others, you are not going to get them by begging, cajoling, crying, blaming, complaining or just plain being depressed, fearful, anxious and whiny about them. You do not have to storm and bombard Heaven to get a healing. YOU ALREADY GOT IT. You may be begging to get healed or tell others that you got healed after you prayed and declared your healing BUT YOU ACTUALLY WERE ALREADY HEALDED BEFORE YOU ASKED. You just took what was yours already and received it with praise and by rebuking whatever is attacking you. Even though it is against the law because you already own it, if a thief steals what is yours, it is not any less yours, but if you do not pursue him to take it back you will lose it. But better yet, be aware of the tactics of the thief and rebuke and resist him before he gets hold of you and your treasures.

And how do you do that? In joy and peace. You get delivered in joy and you are led by peace.

“For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12.

And that is the way you receive your healing and then keep the devil from putting the sickness back on you, which is what he always tries. You receive with faith, which is joy in believing My Word, faith comes from hearing and hearing MyWord but so does peace and joy in believing and then you keep yourself in peace but not picking up and speaking his lies that you are feeling the symptoms again. Rebuke them and say, “Oh no you don’t, I have been healed, Jesus bore My illnesses and pains and you are not coming back.” And then sing for joy at so great a Salvation.

I dwell in your praises. And if you want to make Me your dwelling place you will dwell in My praises. And My Word is full of My praise and love for you.

How do I bring you out of the pit you have gotten yourself into or others have thrown you in? This could be sickness, financial lack, debts, depression, fear, addictions, how do I help you out and raise you up on eagle’s wings? I have already answered that:

He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise (tellilah) to our God; many will see and fear and will trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:3.

I put a song of praise in his mouth and that was enough. It pulled him right out of the pit onto the Rock that is higher than you.

“You keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You, because they trust in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in God the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock. Isaiah 26:3-4.

My covenant with you is that I have put My Words in your mouth and My Spirit in and on you. And I have put My Words in your mouth as joyful songs. Listen, you will hear them in your heart but you must give them utterance for you will never get out of the pit any other way. Selah.

I love you. I have given you songs in the night so you can wake the dawn with your song. Stop whining and complaining and start singing and proclaiming. It will give you joy all the day (and night).
