For I will certainly rescue you, and you will not fall by the sword; but you will have your life as booty, because you have trusted in Me,” declares the LORD.’” Jeremiah 39:18.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Why would you fight an enemy? To take back your goods, your territory, and/or your very life taken in slavery, and the lives of those dear to you, or to keep the enemy from taking your goods, your territory and/or your life and the lives of those dear to you.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise wins souls. Proverbs 11:30.
Satan took your goods, your territory, and your lives by his deceit and misrepresentations, in other word by his lies, to Adam and Eve and thereafter the same continued with Adam’s descendants. And you see the results all around you, even in your own lives and families if you do not know what you have in Christ and enforce the victory He won for you.
Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12.
But also in taking you under his jurisdiction and taking hold of your souls and your goods and territory, Satan took what was Mine, for you are Mine, Isaiah 43:1; Ephesians 2:10, you are My special treasure, Deuteronomy 26:18, Isaiah 43:4, I made you in My image and according to My likeness, Genesis 1:26-28, to be My own family and partners, Ephesians 3:14-21. And all the earth is Mine, that is, the fee simple, though I have given you a leasehold for your own dominion and authority.
The silver and the gold is Mine, the cattle and all creatures are Mine, the earth and all its fullness is Mine, and you are Mine. All that I made is Mine. But in your term (leasehold) of dominion authority, I have entrusted the earth and all the works of My hands to you. And it is your choice whether you use them for justice and righteousness, peace, and joy in union with Me or for injustice and unrighteousness, confusion, degradation, strife, contention, sorrow and woe in union with the devil.
Whether you choose the knowledge of good or evil is up to you. And that was the choice Adam and Eve made—to take the evil, which is sin, for sin is lawlessness, that is, it breaks the Law of My Word which is the perfect law of life and liberty. And the just wages of sin is death.
Thus, the first man and woman chose to be born again from life to death and they made that choice for all their descendants by corrupting the seed and creating a perishable bloodline.
But I, in My great love for you, was not about to let the devil take what was Mine and get away with it. I had a master plan from the foundation of the world to take back all the enemy had taken from Me and to offer all the gifts of My victory—the gifts of all the spoils and booty from that victory over sin and death back to you!
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17.
I sent My Son, who is My Word, to save all that was Mine and win back all souls for Me, and I offer ALL He won for Me to you as the booty and spoils from His victory as well. For He did it as one of you for all of you.
I sent Jesus to undo the works of the devil, save My people from their sins, to seek out and save the lost, and to give His eternal life to Me in payment for the eternal life you lost so that divine justice, which will fall when your leasehold term expires, will not fall on you. Instead I will pull you out before the wrath falls, that is, I will catch you up in the clouds to meet Jesus in the air as you come from the four winds to escape into My Kingdom to the wedding feast of the Lamb before the wrath falls. For you who have received Him as Lord, your sin is gone and the party is on, for He took all the punishment for your sins before Me and reconciled you to Me as holy and blameless, without reproach in My sight.
But, again there is more, in doing that, He also took all the blame, guilt and shame the devil seeks to hold you captive with even now, and set you free from the bondage to sin and death that your first parents put you under.
And again, there is more hidden treasure in My Word stored up for you, for delving into My Word is like finding treasure, for My Words are life to those who find them and healing medicine to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:22. In defeating the devil on his captured territory, He also took back the territory, the treasures taken, and the souls enslaved for Himself by His victory over sin and death, but then He turned around and shared, made available to you, all the spoils and booty from His victory that had been in the devil’s control.
By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, as He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the booty with the strong [for the strong, that is, for those who are strong in Me and the power of My might by putting on My armor so you can stand your ground]; because He poured out Himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He Himself bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors/ Isaiah 53:11-12.
All the riches and glories of the world that the devil tried to make Jesus worship him to obtain, Jesus took back for you by crushing the devil’s head. Genesis 3:15.
Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him. Daniel 7:27.
And that is true even as I speak to you now.
I rejoice at Your Word, as one who finds great spoil. Psalm 119:162.
Do you remember when I fought three enemy armies for the people of Judah who put their complete trust in Me? Let Me remind you for it is pertinent to what I am telling you here.
Now it came about that the Moabites, the Ammonites and some of the Meunites, joined together to make war against King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah. As they marched towards Jerusalem intent on capturing the city, its treasures, and the people, it was reported to Jehoshaphat that this great company of enemies was coming against him and his people and that they were very close by already. At that moment, Jehoshaphat was afraid, but he knew what to do. He turned his attention to seek Me and called all the people of Judah to come to Jerusalem, to My house, the temple Solomon built, to seek My help. And they responded to the call, men, women, and children, even infants at the breast all came and gathered in My house and prayed with trust in My answer for a solution. They all from youngest to oldest put their eyes on Me.
“O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” All Judah was standing before the LORD, with their infants, their wives and their children. 2 Chronicles 20:12-13.
When you call on Me I answer and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. I gave the answer to My prophet present among them and he spoke My Word to all, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat, “Thus says the LORD to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley in front of the wilderness of Jeruel. You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the Salvation (Yeshuah) of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:14-17.
What did the people do? They had heard the bad news, they came to My house, they received the Word I was sending to deliver them, they trusted that Word from Me and rejoiced! They did the Voice of Thanksgiving, which I give you to work wonders.
Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. The Levites, from the sons of the Kohathites and of the sons of the Korahites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel, with a very loud voice. 2 Chronicles 20:18-19.
And next they did not delay pondering whether it was really My Word or not, no, they acted on it immediately. They rose early and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.” 2 Chronicles 20:20.
Next, Jehoshaphat consulted with the people and they decided to appoint those who sang in My house according to the directions of David and those who praised Me in holy attire, to go out before the army as if leading a triumphal procession, before they had seen the victory I promised in My Word manifest in the earth.
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. 2 Corinthians 2:14-16.
And that is exactly what happened. They marched out triumphantly singing these words, “Give thanks to the LORD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.” 2 Chronicles 20:21.
When they began singing and praising, the LORD set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed. For the sons of Ammon and Moab rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir destroying them completely; and when they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. 2 Chronicles 20:22-23.
At the voice of thanksgiving, I worked wonders.
But the people of Judah did not let it go at that. Their eyes rested on the treasures I had given them from My victory and it took three days for them to gather it up. Of what am I speaking? The spoils and the booty of the enemy that they had left behind.
When Judah came to the lookout of the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude, and behold, they were corpses lying on the ground, and no one had escaped. When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take their spoil, they found much among them, including goods, garments and valuable, precious things which they took for themselves, more than they could carry. And they were three days taking the spoil because there was so much. 2 Chronicles 20:24-25.
And did they just grab it and run, forgetting the One who gave them so much treasure to gather up once I had fought the battle for them because they had cried out to Me? No, they did not.
Then on the fourth day they assembled in the valley of Beracah (Blessing), for there they blessed the LORD. Therefore they have named that place “The Valley of Beracah” (before it was call the Valley of Achor, which means “trouble”) until today. Every man of Judah and Jerusalem returned with Jehoshaphat at their head, returning to Jerusalem with joy, for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies. They came to Jerusalem with harps, lyres and trumpets to the house of the LORD. And the dread of God was on all the kingdoms of the lands when they heard that the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel. So the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God gave him rest on all sides. 2 Chronicles 20:26-30.
They had learned the secret of contentment and peace no matter what came against them, they had entered My rest. And what is the secret they learned? First, when something fearful comes, not to fear but to have faith in Me and turn to Me in trust for the answer. Next, find the Word from Me that I sent in Scripture or by a prophet (now by My Spirit in you that reminds you of all I have said in My written Word, for the anointing teaches you all things). Next, face the enemy armed with My Word and speak it and command all to line up and obey that Word, cast out Satan, and then cast all care on Me, and do the voice of thanksgiving (throw yourself down before Me in worship and stand up and shout and sing praise for the answer with a mega voice). And I will wind the victory and give you all the spoils and booty though it was Me that fought. And the spoils include your own life which the enemy was seeking to capture and destroy.
Do you know why I shared this historical episode in the life of the people of Judah with you?
Satan is the enemy advancing against you to take all the pieces of your life and your soul as well into his kingdom, as these enemy armies were seeking to do with the people and treasures of Judah. They looked to Me and I showed them My Salvation (Yeshuah). Jesus. “You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the Salvation (Yeshuah) of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:14-17. And He is the arm by which I reached down and fought for your life and saved you for eternal life. Isaiah 53:1.
The LORD has bared His holy arm (the Word became flesh) in the sight of all the nations, that all the ends of the earth may see the salvation (Yeshuah) of our God. Isaiah 52:10.
Do you also recall that I did the same for the people of Samaria at the Words I gave Elisha the prophet? The enemy had besieged Samaria and all were starving in the city, but Elisha told them I would provide abundance in 24 hours. And I did. I chased all the vast enemy army away by sounding like a great advancing army and they fled from Me and left all their treasures, abundant food supplies and beautiful, costly things abandoned there and the people of the city ran out and gathered them all as they ate their fill and gained new treasures.
And I did the same for Hezekiah when the Assyrians besieged Jerusalem. Hezekiah spread out the problem before Me and asked the solution, My prophet Isaiah gave him My answer, and I sent My angel to wipe out 185,000 of the enemy in one night. And the rest fled.
Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will FLEE from you. James 4:7.
“Then the LORD said to me, “Take for yourself a large tablet and write on it in ordinary letters: ‘Swift is the booty, speedy is the prey.” Isaiah 8:1. My Word runs swiftly and does not return to Me void until it takes back the booty, such as healing, good health, peace, joy, righteousness, provision, prosperity, etc., that the devil is trying to steal that I have given you already from the victory of Jesus over him. So you submit to My Word that fits your situation (Adam and Eve did not submit to or resist the devil with My Word and thus they were taken captive), speak that Word to the situation, illness, part of your body that is causing the problem, etc. and command it to line up with My Word, and that is resisting the devil with My Word to which you have submitted, and he has to flee in a SPEEDY manner before you empty out all that he swallowed up out of his fat belly.
And all that amazing booty and spoils are part of your promised land, part of the rest, and you can either pounce on the spoil and carry it off as your own or you can let the devil steal it back from you again.
And do you even know what all the spoil and booty consists of?
Cargoes of gold and silver and precious stones and pearls and fine linen and purple and silk and scarlet, and every kind of citron wood and every article of ivory and every article made from very costly wood and bronze and iron and marble, and cinnamon and spice and incense and perfume and frankincense and wine and olive oil and fine flour and wheat and cattle and sheep, and horses and chariots and bodies (people’s flesh, their physical bodies and parts) and souls of men and women, their very lives. Revelation 18:12-13.
Did you ever realize that was all won for you by Jesus for you to receive and stand upon. Fight the good fight of faith for I fight that for you by Yeshuah.
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.
And what was that joy? Winning the battle for you and for Me and Our sharing with you all the spoils. But what is the greatest booty and treasure of all that He gave every drop of His blood to purchase for you from Me and win back from the captivity of the devil? You.
For I will certainly rescue you, and you will not fall by the sword; but you will have your life (soul) as booty, because you have trusted in Me,” declares the LORD.’” Jeremiah 39:18.
Look at that scripture from My prophet Jeremiah. Today it is for you.
First, I have certainly rescued you from the realm of darkness and transferred you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son, in who you have redemption by His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
For He rescued us from the realm of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sin by His blood. Colossians 1:13-14.
Second, when My Son returns to take back My earth how does the wrath come upon the devil and the godless? By the Sword coming out of His mouth. The Word of Justice.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:11-16.
But in Jesus you are shielded from the wrath to come, Hebrews 5:9, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, by the cleansing of the Blood and the washing of the Word, which is your testimony before Me, the law on which you plead your case of justification in Jesus.
Third, by the victory before Me that Jesus won for your salvation and to give you eternal life with Me, I have given you your life as booty because you have put your faith (trust) in My Word.
I loved you so much from before time began that I sent My own Son to sacrifice His eternal life in the flesh for you to pay your debt due to divine justice to Me, and it is paid in full so be reconciled to Me, and to take you out of the captivity of Satan which your ancestors, and maybe you by your disobedience to My Word, had chosen. But Jesus won over the devil’s attacks to take Him captive and thus plundered the devil’s house and cargoes as well. He took you as booty and spoils and shared that with you. He gave you your life as booty.
You were bought at a great price, won by a battle that sent My Son to hell and back from the grave and raised Him up to Heaven and you with Him.
And I gave you everything He won for Me as your booty. And that most precious booty of all to you is your life, which came back to you better than before, as not perishable but an eternal life. It is My gift to you that comes with My gift to you of Jesus, the most precious treasure of all, for in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and it is by believing in Him you are born again and He then can give you the gift of the Holy Spirit by whom I pour My love, light, and very life into your heart.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Romans 8:31-34.
I love you. Do you really understand what that means? I have changed you from a sinner under My wrath, to a Saint under divine favor. He won it, you got it through faith.
The people who walk in darkness, have seen a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. You shall multiply the nation, You shall increase their gladness; they will be glad in Your presence as with the gladness of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil . . . For a child is born to us, a Son is given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, God Hero, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace.” Isaiah 9:6-7.
