Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever! Psalm 118:1.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I change sinners to saints because of My goodness and mercy, but I justify you from your sins by executing divine justice, but a very singular kind of justice, though your sins required that justice be done, I accounted all your sins to My Son, and punished Him in your place. There is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
It is by His life, suffering, death, and resurrection that I make sinners to saints, but the only reason I conceived such a plan was because of My goodness and mercy.
“I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins. Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together; state your cause, that you may be proved right.” Isaiah 43:25-26.
This is legal language. The sentence with which I judged Adam and Eve, “dust you are and to dust you shall return,” has been satisfied. My Son went down to the dust of death so that you will never have to do so.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and You lay me in the dust of death. For dogs have surrounded me; a band of evildoers has encompassed me; they pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones. They look, they stare at me; they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots. Psalm 22:15-18.
He died the death that was mankind’s sentence since Adam until divine justice was paid and the penalty paid—an eternal life for the eternal life you destroyed. But Jesus tasted the eternal death for you all so that none of you have to taste it who have received Him.
But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. Hebrews 2:9.
The Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets also; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word, he will never taste of death.’” John 8:52.
I wipe out your sins as if they had never been for My own sake with no work on your part except faith. Why do I want to do this when Adam disregarded all My goodness and forsook Me for evil? He never returned to the fellowship we once had and went into a life of toil and trouble, violence and hatred, shame and blame, that I had never desired for him or his descendants. He had been born again by the corrupted seed of the devil’s lies that he had swallowed and taken for his mindset. And that is what his descendants were born of and raised in. Jesus reversed all that for those who will be born again of the incorruptible seed of My Word by submitting to it as your mindset.
After Adam and Eve took the devil as their master, their thoughts, like the devil’s, became nothing but evil, and the same was the case for his descendants.
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Genesis 6:5-6.
I was not angry, I was grieved, deeply grieved. I no longer had the attention from and the fellowship with the family I created in My own image and according to My likeness that they would be with Me forever. I have love for you, a love beyond what your mind and heart can understand. And I was continually looking for hearts across the entire face of the earth that would open up and respond to My love. And I found a man named Enoch and then one of his descendants named Noah, and those two saved the world and all mankind from destruction. When you will walk with Me you save your household and it is far more reaching than you can ask or imagine. One heart of love can move a nation, and not just a nation, but like Abraham every family on earth. Enoch, Noah, and Abraham know now, but at the time they started walking with Me and obeying My Word they had no idea how far reaching the decision to walk with Me would reach.
The parable of the prodigal son is really about the good and merciful father. It is about Me and born again believers who have not renewed their minds and have no idea what I have freely given them as their inheritance. In Jesus all you lost in Adam and more is restored and gifted to your account.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3-6.
I will keep trying to draw you back to Me if you have strayed away. I sent Jesus to seek out and save the lost. It cost Him every drop of His blood and the pain of rejection by His own nation and people, but for the joy of reconciling My precious family that I created back to Me He was willing to take all your sins into His own flesh and take the sentence for them in His own flesh so you would never have to do so.
You are acquitted before Me. Remember that every time you should slip and fall. The blood is more than enough to remove your every sin, fault, omission, and failure. And as soon as you return to Me, just like the father in the prodigal son that kept waiting and watching for the heart of his wayward son to remember his goodness and turn back to him, when the boy did come to himself and humbly start his return the father not only ran to meet and embrace him but he clothed him in the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness, cleaned him all up, sacrificed the young calf, and the celebration began.
“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22.
But have you really tasted and enjoyed My goodness? Or do you still hold back from walking with Me in the fullest sense? If you will notice, Noah conversed with Me a lot in building the ark. He had never been on boat or built one. He did not know what a flood was since he had never experienced one. And yet because he walked with Me he was able to build the most amazing boat that has ever been built. And it housed all the animals and his family in perfect harmony, secure from all harm. And even though all the floodgates opened to flood the earth and cleanse it so that everything was submerged, they never even got wet in that amazing city of a boat.
And down the ages it started with only a few people walking with Me and they all did amazing things that changed history but in quiet ways that seemed to them just daily life with Me. Abraham walked with Me but he also taught his son to do the same and I walked with him and showed him how to prosper, and he taught his son to do the same. Therefore I call Myself the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, for by Abraham’s faith in Me he began a household of faith that later grew into a nation of faith and finally was the line that brought My Son according to the flesh. And that is what walking with Me can do, it always brings Jesus into your life as your good Shepherd to lead you in righteous paths for My Name’s sake, which in your Covenant with Him has given you My Name as well as His.
The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed? For I have chosen him, so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.” Genesis 18:17-19.
When Jacob blessed the children of Joseph, he blessed them with the blessing of walking with Me, “The God before whom my fathers, Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day, the angel (messenger of God) who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads.” Genesis 48:15-16.
What do I mean by walking with Me? Since the beginning when I made the world for you and filled it with amazing treasures, I have desired to share My life with you, to empower you with My own power and to dwell among you. We have a very close relationship from the beginning, I formed you spirit, soul, and body, I spoke and breathed your spirit and your soul into being (Genesis 1:26-28), so that your every breath you breathe each day is My breath breathed into you to give you life (Genesis 2:7). Your body I formed with My own hands as a potter forms the clay by his artistic genius, you are My workmanship and My masterpiece of all creation.
Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living spirit (soul). Genesis 2:7.
You are the crown of all My works. I formed no other works of My creation in this way with My hands.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
And then I made a delightful and abundant garden in which to place the man and we had close fellowship, and then I pulled the woman out of the man and made her into a unique partner and companion for him, and they had a close fellowship that bound them as one with each other and with Me.
And I would come in the breezy time of the day and walk with the first man and woman and tell them things, show them insights, teach them, and let them pour their hearts out to Me as well. It was a wonderful time of enjoying each other’s presence in a relationship of trust and love. But that all changed when they listened to another voice and believed a creature that was beneath them over their Creator that was their very life and source of their life itself. And the devil stole their identity for the identity he had lost. And he took the man and woman who were My very own away from Me and our fellowship was gone by their choice. I tried to talk with them and bring them back but they hid from Me. If you should sin, never hide from Me, run to Me as fast as you can, throw yourself in My everlasting arms and confess to Me, ask for My help, repent to let Me help you change to the you that you always wanted to be, holy, blameless, blessed, and beloved. And My Son died to give that back to you and back to Me.
What is walking with Me? Drawing close and never leaving My side all day and all night long. But how can two walk together unless they agree? You cannot be speaking the lies of the devil and carrying out his wishes and be walking in the light with Me at the same time.
Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:7-8.
Jesus is the High Priest of your confession (homologia, which means speaking the same word in perfect agreement). It just means that you can only have a close relationship with Me, My Son and the Holy Spirit by speaking My Words alone, which are pure words, without adulteration from the world’s words.
Ask Me for input. All day long, all night long, include Me in your daily activities. Go on your errands with Me and they will go smoothly, do your work with Me and I will give you amazing insights and make you a problem solver at your work. I will heal you the moment the devil attacks with symptoms or pain if you turn immediately to Me for the Word with which to answer it (submit to My Word which is Me) and then answer the lie, symptom, trial, or storm with the Word I have given you in our walking together, cast out the demon casting it in Jesus’ Name (resist the devil) and then cast your care of it on Me in prayer and then the fun part (the party) begins—the voice of thanksgiving. Shout, sing, worship with hymns of praise and melodic spirit songs. Rejoice in so great a salvation. And the devil has to flee for you have drawn close to Me.
Satan cannot abide in My presence, and there you have a secret you should know. In My presence is fullness of joy, and My joy is your strength, but in My presence there is also perfect protection from all that is coming against you from the world, the flesh, and the devil. And staying conscious at all times of My loving presence is walking with Me. Inside minded because that is where My Spirit dwells in your spirit and the flow of My Kingdom is within you. And the flow is righteousness (established in righteousness by your sins being put on Jesus and taken care of justly), peace (shalom, wholeness in all areas of your life), and joy (anointed by My Spirit with the oil of joy) in the Holy Spirit.
Taste and see My goodness and My mercy. Walk in them with Me all the days of your life, and like Enoch who walked with Me, walk right over into My house as I set a table of plenty before you to eat in the sight of your enemies.
I invite you to come with confidence with your great High Priest Jesus right to My throne of grace in the secret place of the Holy of Holies in Heaven, and what do your find there? You receive mercy and find grace right when you need it. Mercy. My goodness and My mercy are inseparable. Walk in them, live them, enjoy them but above all, through all, and in all, enjoy Me as I do you. So much that I sent My Son to die so I could have you back with Me.
I love you. Let Me walk with you as you walk with Me. I have called you by Name, you are Mine.
O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:8-10.
