Though you have not seen Jesus, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-9.
Today the LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Saints have joy unspeakable, love unlimited, and peace unshakeable. Do you? You should. I give you My peace, John 14:27, My joy, John 15:11, and My everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3. And My love towers higher than the skies. Psalm 103:11.
And I gave it to you all wrapped up in a tiny child. I sent Him to bring you My joy, My love, My peace, and eternal life. He is Prince of Peace, your Father forever, and your Wonderful Counselor. He told you that if you kept His commands you would share His joy and your joy would be complete. He is love and I gave Him to you because of My everlasting love for you. The angels sang over the fields around Bethlehem the night He was born upon the earth and they told you they were bringing you good news that would give you great joy. And what was the good news they announced to the Shepherds that would cause great joy for all people? That on that day in the town of David a Savior was born to you: the Messiah, Jesus the Lord, Luke 2:9-11—My Son who I sent to save you and reconcile you to Me.
“I have loved you, My people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to Myself.” Jeremiah 31:3.
I so loved the world I sent My only Son that all who believe in Him may not perish but have eternal life. He redeemed you from the slavery to sin and death that you were born in as a descendant of Adam, bore the punishment due for your sins from divine justice, and made you My children again. And He gave you back the authority that Adam had lost. By His death and resurrection you were redeemed from the curse of the law and given the promise of the Holy Spirit. You now can do the works He did and greater. He has given you the victory over sin and death. He became poor that you might become rich. He made you My righteousness—holy and blameless before Me—and He made it possible for you to reign in life through Him. He gave you power in His Name over evil and demons and all they bring.
Do you see that if by faith you are taking advantage of all He has won for you—in Him I have blessed you with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, given you everything you need for life and godliness, clothed you in power from on High, healed you, delivered you, blessed you, and given you direct access to My throne of grace—then you cannot help but be filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him. Psalm 103:11.
Read the Book of Acts. Those who came to know and believe in the Good News of My Son were filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy because they were assured of salvation and all the power and blessings My Son had won for them.
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Acts 13:52.
And you too should have great joy in believing.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13.
For when you continue in My Word, then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. A bad report, trials, and anything else that comes against you from the devil will not shake you. I keep in perfect peace those who have their minds fixed on Me, those who trust Me. When you know and have experienced that no matter what comes against you from the enemy I make all things work together for good for those who love Me and are working for My purposes (which can be summed up as love), you will have great peace in any trial for you know it will ultimately turn out good for you. Romans 8:28. And you can expect that trials and the curse will come in this age and try to take you out of My Will for your life. So do not be surprised when they come against you, for currently the world is under the evil one, 1 John 5:19, because man handed his dominion over the world to the devil, so you can expect he will not give up coming against you until the appointed time when his time is over and all the kingdoms of the earth become Mine again and I give them to you as it was in the beginning. Daniel 7:27. But the appointed time for the end is not quite yet. Matthew 8:29; Daniel 8:19, Daniel 11:35; 1 Corinthians 4:5.
However, though you are in the world, you are not of the world. You have Christ in you, your hope of glory. You have My Holy Spirit with you and in you. The One that is in you is far greater than the one who is in the world. You can overcome. You are more than a conqueror in Me. You have all the power of the Kingdom of Heaven backing you up. You have a source of supply that is infinite, unlimited, and far surpassing all you can ask or imagine.
You have Me. I am your Father, your friend, your lover, your peace, your righteousness, your holiness, your healer, your provider, your deliverer, your refuge, and your God.
I sent My Son to save you and bless you. And in Him I have done that. It is yours. Just receive it by faith. Take it by faith.
And when you begin to see your prayers answered, the devils subject to your command in the Name of My Son, and the mountains in your life tumbling before you, then you will know joy unspeakable, love unlimited, and peace unshakeable. You will know and believe in the love I have for you.
And that is the only way to live.
And it is yours if you want it. If you seek My Kingdom first. Then I will send you My gift to the world. And He will be with you always. I will send a little child to lead you. He is My Son but when you do My Will by keeping My Word you are mother, brother and sister to Him. He is born into your life as your very own. If you but knew the sweetness of My gift your joy would know no bonds. You would receive My love unlimited. For joy, love and peace are from Me. They are the fruit of the Holy Spirit in you.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23.
And that is why despite the trials and persecutions that the first Christians faced they could not but be filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. They knew that even death in this life was not the end. They knew it was only the beginning of a glorious eternity unlimited by the encumbrance of the mortal flesh.
Love without limits is My covenant with you. Enduring forever, holy, faithful and true. Come share My joy! It is unspeakable and it is forever.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3.
