So then brethren we are not debtors to the flesh so that we should live according to the flesh, for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:12-14.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You are not debtors to the flesh so that you should live according to the flesh. If you live according to the flesh you will have a miserable, tormented, confused life.
By the flesh I do not mean the members of your body, which are working for you to house your spirit and soul and to give you the ability to do good works, to do excellent and exciting things and have blessed adventures, to see the beauties of what I have created and sustain for you, and to read My Word, speak My Word, and minister to yourself and others. Without your body, your spirit and soul could not do the assignment I have given you to do on the earth, i.e., the good deeds I prepared for you in advance that you might enjoy them.
Even in eternal life in the spirit I give you a glorified and immortal body to do the works of the Kingdom of Heaven, which will unite with earth and you will reign with Me in all and all.
Do not mutilate your body, do not abuse it with overeating or under eating, do not pierce, tattoo, or put harmful substances that make you lose control of your mind, such as drugs and alcohol into your body. Do not abuse and curse your body so that it cannot serve you into old age.
Love, cherish, and care for the gift of your body, keep it pure and holy by receiving Jesus as your Lord, and becoming as a temple of My Holy Spirit and as a member of Christ’s body the church. Glorify Me in your body by a sanctified life. And there is only one way you are going to move away from walking in the flesh to walking in the sanctified life of the Spirit of holiness and it comes by the path of the blood, the water, and the Spirit.
Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22.
You are cleansed of all sin by the blood of Jesus and by His blood you are released of all the guilt and shame of sin, Jesus paid your ransom owed to Me for the eternal life you lost and for all sins you have committed against Me, but you are still in the body which is accustomed to operating in the flesh and not in the spirit so there is another step that must be taken to freedom from all that would keep you in the slavery of sin and that is the water and then on to the Spirit.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness (the flesh), we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son continually cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1.
What is walking in the Light? Walking in My Word, for My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. The revelation of My Word gives light and understanding. I am My Word and I am Light and Love, and you were made in My image and according to My likeness by My Word. And being born again by the incorruptible seed of My Word recreates you as a new creation with your spirit alive to Me and dead to sin so that by renewing and washing your mind and body in My Word you too can walk in the light, sanctified by the truth as the body of Christ on earth, set apart as holy and powerful, as bright lights in a dark world holding fast to and holding forth My Word.
And that is how Jesus cleanses His body the Church and each member thereof, by the Word.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27.
And the night before He gave His life to release you from your sins by His blood, He told His disciples about the water of the Word as well.
You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you. John 15:3.
And it is by remaining in My Word and My Word remaining in you that abide in Jesus as a branch in a vine and My Spirit is able to flow My divine life into you like the sap in the vine producing the fruit of the vine in the branch.
And therein lies the secret between those who walk in the flesh and those who walk in the Spirit of holiness, it is the dividing line of the Word, which cleanses, sanctifies, and sets you apart from living a life limited to the cravings, desires, offenses, selfishness and the rage of the flesh. And more than that, My Word puts My life in you, which is pure light, love, righteousness, joy, and peace in the Holy Spirit.
And here let Me define what I mean by flesh, which is exemplified in the number of the beast of 666, six is the number of man for I created you on the sixth day.
Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six. Revelation 13:18.
It simply means life cut off from Me where you exalt the human being as able to thrive without Me. Just as I am one in three define persons, to fill you with all My fullness, so too you can totally reject and harden your heart to Me and act apart from Me in the outer darkness of the continuum and exalt human wisdom, human strength, and human power (666) in operation without Me, being blown about by every new whim of doctrine and philosophies of men, treating your earthly self as exalted above Me—all man, no God. And this is what you see being taught in your schools, in much of the “scientific” academia, in the government and even in your courts of “law,” which in enforcing and upholding evil as your civil right, thus becoming courts of lawlessness. Thus, everyone does what he thinks right without My Word as the standard. This is lawlessness for without My law there is no law, there is only sin. And sin results in injustice being called justice, darkness being called light, and confusion being called enlightenment. It results in calling the slavery and bondage of sin freedom and good being called evil and evil being called good.
Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength,
And whose heart turns away from the LORD. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. Jeremiah 17:5-8.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20.
How do you come free of the lawlessness and impurity of the flesh? By My Word and by My Spirit in you and on you. And that is Covenant, the higher raises the lower to the level of the higher one. I stoop down to make you great, the arm I sent to save you, My Word, living and working to make you anew, the hand of the potter reshaping the clay (the flesh) as if unrighteousness had never been.
How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your Word. With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me wander from Your commandments. Your Word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Psalm 119:9-11.
Your answer is simple but very deep with many levels, for My Word will keep on revealing more and more to you as I raise you up to Me higher and higher in your understanding of the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all My fullness and come to the revelation of who I am and who you are.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves. 2 Corinthians 4:7. Not 666 but 777, the perfection of the three in One that are each perfect rest, perfect completion and perfect peace, you were created as the crown of My Works, which were all to give you a home and a realm of dominion exercised with Me in partnership and as a family united as one, and I pulled you into My rest on the seventh day, to abide there in perfect completion and peace forever. And when you add up the three sevens you get 21 which reduces to 3 which is the third day. Resurrection joy and resurrection power are there for you in the perfect man, Jesus, Son of God and Son of Man. Attach, abide, rest, work and flow in My Spirit breathed Word.
For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete. Colossians 2:9-10.
There is only one way you are going to conquer the flesh and walk in righteousness and that is My Word. If you continue (abide, remain, live) in My Word, you are truly My disciples, and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Free of the limits, torments, and slavery to lawlessness of the world, the devil and the flesh.
So if you are going to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh, there is only one way you can do that and it is by following My Word as your way, your truth, and your life. And that is what receiving Jesus as Lord is all about for He is My Word made FLESH.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1-4.
He took all your flesh, all your sins, all your illness, and all your pains on Himself and nailed them to the cross to set you free, paid in full.
When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14.
You are no longer a debtor to the flesh for Jesus made Himself emptied Himself and made Himself poor with your poverty so that you could be rich with His glorious riches, walking in the same Spirit in which He walked and He won for you to have as your own as well.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25.
I love you. I gave you My Son to pay all the debts owed to Me so you could be free and walk in My Spirit joined with your spirit so we could be united forever as one in My everlasting Covenant of love.
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20
