Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. John 14:12.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Whether you are walking in the spirit or walking in the flesh, really just comes down to where you are putting your attention. And where you are putting your attention has to do with whether you are paying attention to where you are allowing yourself to put your attention. An undisciplined mind will always lead you into trouble because an undisciplined mind has no boundaries and no particular direction.

Jesus told His disciples that after He finished the work I gave Him to do on earth and ascended back to Me He would send them My promise and they would be clothed with power from on High.

Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:44-49.

Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:4-8.

And that power is there to do a work. It is not about getting something by that power, for it is already yours, it is about receiving and taking it to do the works of Jesus, and even greater works in a world that is waiting for you to bring the light.

So what are you doing with all the power that Jesus died to give you? It is time you took your authority and walked in the fullness of the Spirit. It is time for you to do the works Jesus did and greater. It is time you put the resurrection power that I have put in you and clothed you in to work. When the mantle of Elijah fell down upon Elisha he ran with it and did twice the miracles than Elijah did. He did the greater works. Well, you have a greater power than the anointing of Elijah, you have the anointing with which I anointed Jesus.

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, [and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.

You have His Name, His blood, His Spirit, His Words, His garments of salvation, His robe of righteousness, His riches and His glory. And everything I have is His as well.

So how long are you going to put up with being run over by the devil when you can take authority over him and all his evil works and undo them? And Jesus promised you that whatever you asked in His Name He would come and do what you asked.

Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:11-14.

How was He going to do it from the throne with Me? By the Holy Spirit in you carrying out the faith connection.

I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Paraclete, one at your side), that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17.

And finally Jesus told you the source of how you would do the works He did and greater and it was the same as His source but which He did the works and said the Words I gave him. Me.

Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. John 16:23-24.

And Jesus gives you further evidence of how you do the works He did and greater. He is the vine, you are the branches and I am the vinedresser, I own the vineyard. And attached to the vine in My vineyard, filled with the life of the vine, which is the Holy Spirit flowing into you to make you partakers of My divine nature, you bear much fruit. And the abundant harvest of fruit produced by the branches attached to the vine is the greater works, the fruit of your union with Him as His body, His church, His bride.

Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death. But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter. Romans 7:4-6.

And do not think this is a strange idea that you will do the works of Jesus and greater. You are His body on earth. In the early church signs, wonders, and miracles were done by the believers and it was not just the disciples who had been with Jesus, although it started with them, it did not stay there, great grace was upon them all.

But let Me ask you this, do you know what the “greater works” are? What could be greater than healing the sick, raising the dead, multiplying provisions, not just once but multiple times, opening blind eyes and deaf ears and giving utterance to the mute? Just one work is greater than all He could do in the flesh on earth, for He had not yet given His eternal life in the flesh for the eternal life you had lost, so until Jesus died and I raised Him from the dead as the first born again man, no one could be born again. He is the first born of many brethren. Jesus told you that you would do greater works even than those He did because He was going to Me. How was He going? By way of dying for your sins and raising you up to new life free from sin as a new creation in Christ to be together with Me forever.

And now you can bring that gift of becoming a new creation in Christ to others and that is getting someone born again and imparting to them the gift of the Holy Spirit, just as Ananias did for Paul. He had done the “greater work.” He baptized him into the new birth and filled him with the Holy Spirit, He also healed Paul’s blindness.

The first miracle after the resurrection of Jesus and His return to Heaven was that of the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the church on Pentecost Sunday. The disciples knew it meant that Jesus had arrived at My throne, received the promised Holy Spirit from Me and poured Him out on the believers in the upper room where they were praying in one in heart and spirit, waiting for what Jesus had promised before they went forth as witnesses.

This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear. Acts 2:32-33.

The sign had come, it was time to run with their assignments empowered by the Holy Spirit. The most powerful body on earth had just been born by the gift of the Holy Spirit—the church.

And with that miracle another gift of the Spirit was manifest. All were given the gift of interpretation of tongues, but not of just one tongue but of all 120 of them.

And the greater works began right then, after hearing Peter’s preaching of the good news of salvation, 3,000 people got born again and baptized that day.

And the next miracle as the disciples got warmed up to their new role of authority, was the healing of a man crippled from birth at the Beautiful Gate of the temple at the 3:00 hour for prayer, the time of the offering of unblemished land, the unleavened bread and the hin of wine.

And how did they heal him? Not by their own power and might but in the Name and the faith and power in that Name.

But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!” And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. Acts 3:4-9.

And how did Peter explain this miracle to the astonished crowd?

And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16.

They had stepped out in faith in the power of the Name and done a work with that power. They had raised up a lame man to leap like a stag. Which was the prophecy of Isaiah on what the Messiah would do when He came. And He did, but now His disciples were doing the same.

“Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; the recompense of God will come, but He will save you.” Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. Isaiah 35:4-6.

When the men came to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, to ask, ‘Are You the Expected One, or do we look for someone else?’” At that very time He cured many people of diseases and afflictions and evil spirits; and He gave sight to many who were blind. And He answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the gospel preached to them. Luke 7:20-22.

And after that another 5,000 were added to the 3,000 that got born again on the day of Pentecost. The greater works were off and running. What they had received as a gift, they all were giving as a gift.

And once the early followers went out from Jerusalem, one of the new converts who had not been one of the twelve, Philip, brought miracles to Samaria and they also turned from darkness to light and received Jesus as Lord and got born again. And then Peter and John came and laid hands on the new believers and they all got filled with the Holy Spirit. The greater works.

And after that My Spirit and the holy angels took Philip to the desert root out of Jerusalem to catch up with the chariot of an official from Ethiopia and Philip preached the good news of salvation to him and right there in the desert they found some water and Philip baptized the Ethiopian official, who went back and preached the good news in Ethiopia.

And then Peter was sent by My Spirit to the home of Cornelius to preach salvation and he and his whole household became the first Romans who were born again and joined the Covenant of promise. And so on, as it got greater and greater until today and it still has not stopped. But compared to the need, the laborers are few.

Now let’s talk about you. What are you doing with the great power I have entrusted you with? Are you receiving that power and doing greater works? Or are you  begging Me to do something? Believers should not be behaving like beggars in their prayers to Me. I do not commend you on this. You do not take your authority and let the devil take your health, your wealth, your families and your friends and then you beg Me to do something about it like if I had already given it to you and you just watched the devil come in and take it while you kept silent.

How long are you going to permit the devil to do evil, bring the curse, and take what I have given you while all the time you have the power to tread on him and resist him so that he has to flee from you? How long are you going to permit this and how long are you going to keep accusing Me of not answering your prayers and seeing to your needs? When you beg and beg Me for things I gave you that does not please Me for you are implying that I am not doing what I could or should have done.

I have already provided what you need for life and godliness and given you the victory in Jesus. You are not waiting on Me. I am waiting on you to take the power I have clothed you in form on High by your faith. Your victory is waiting for your faith to show up. The power is waiting on your faith.

For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. Romans 8:19-21.

Do not put up with sickness, pain, poverty, lack, depression—you will have them as long as you put up with them. It is time to arise and make a change for what you do not resist will come in to stay.

I tell you to speak to mountains not to speak to Me and others about how big they are and immovable. Learn My language by My Words and use them to establish authority. I have given them  to you and put them in your mouth.

Learn from Jesus. He did not just look at the fig tree, He talked to it. He did not just let the storm keep blowing, He talked to it. He spoke to blind eyes to see, to deaf ears to open, to dead people to rise up, and He rebuked fevers.

It is time you opened your mouth in command, like when Joshua commanded the sun and moon to stand still, and let Me turn your mourning into dancing.

I love you. You are not waiting on Me, I am waiting on you to step up to your true authority in Christ.
