Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I give you the opportunity to be born again. This is the opportunity to receive the best and most beautiful gift I give you for without it life means nothing but with it life means everything. Without it you face nothing but hopelessness and pain. With it you have a future and a hope filled with good and beautiful things, perfect health, and freedom from pain.
It is the gift of a new beginning. It is the gift of eternal life. It is the gift of bringing you back into My family and My home as your own. It is the gift of the Kingdom of Heaven even now. And is the gift of light, love, and perfection. It makes you complete, whole, entire, reconciled, righteous, sanctified, and glorified, totally release of all sin as if it had never been. It is forever once you take it and can never be taken from you. It is joy unspeakable filled with glory. It seats you with Me above and gives you every spiritual blessing in Heaven. It gives you everything you need for life and godliness and an overflow for every good work. It is so wonderful I call it good news, tidings of great joy for all people. I call it the good news of the Kingdom, the good news of your salvation, the good news of grace, the good news of Jesus Christ, the good news of the glory of Christ, the glorious good news of the Blessed God, and I tell you how beautiful the feet are of those who bring it to you. I am speaking of salvation, Christ in you, your hope of glory.
The mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27.
Many people do not understand how you take hold of and receive this new beginning, It only is by being born again from the perishable to the imperishable, from death to life, so that you become a new creation in Christ. For the wages of sin is death, but My gift to you is eternal life in Jesus Christ. In Him I take away your sins and give you My righteousness as your own.
You must be born again to enter, or even see, My Kingdom. To enter you must be sin free and full of Me, that is, of My purity and goodness. Full of love, pure love, that is, My love poured in your hearts by the gift of My Holy Spirit when you are born again by My Word.
Let Me first take you to a dialog Jesus had with a Pharisee named Nicodemus, who later became a fearless follower of Jesus, but when he first approached him privately he came at night so he would not be persecuted by the other Pharisees. He was seeking out to see if Jesus could be the promised Messiah come from Me. But Jesus simply answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3.
That caught his attention, but it puzzled him. Most older people would love to be born again to live their life in a better way and to know the joy of youth again. So he asked a question, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” And Jesus gave him an answer that was higher than the sky and deeper than the sea, the mystery of salvation that takes you from the temporal to the eternal, from death to life, from hell to Heaven, from ashes to beauty, from the dung hill to being seated with princes, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:4-8.
Let us break this down a bit. “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5.
Scripture explains Scripture, so let us go to the explanation of how this happens.
For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:3-7.
Born again from death to life by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit—the water of the washing of the Word regenerating you in truth—born again by the imperishable seed of My Spirit breathed Word.
For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:13.
And Jesus is My Word and in Him you find eternal life. Him alone for He took all your sins into His own eternal sinless flesh and became sin with your sin so you could become righteous with His righteousness.
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
The Spirit, the water, and the blood, these three testify to Me of your salvation in Jesus. First, Jesus is the faithful and true witness to your salvation for He released you from your sins by His eternal blood, for the life is in the blood and He gave His life for you. His blood speaks of My mercy louder than the blood of Abel. The water, My Word, is the Word of your testimony that overcomes the accusations of the evil one and that renews your mind so that you are transformed by the truth, sanctified by the truth, which is My Word. And the Spirit regenerates you and testifies to your spirit that your sins and offenses I remember no more.
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son. The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 1 John 5:5-12.
Jesus is the resurrection and the life and in Him I have promised to raise you up on the last day. And even now, when He died to sin once for all, you also what are in Him died to sin, and when I raised Him from the dead, I raised you with Him and seated you in Him with Me in Heaven.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5.
When Adam submitted to the lies of the devil as truth over My Word he was born again of the perishable seed of the lie, he became a child of the devil and conformed his life to the devil’s will for his life, which was to steal, kill, and destroy it. His sentence was that of the devil, his new master, the lake of eternal fire, eternal death.
Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me. John 8:43-45.
But I promised you the opportunity of eternal life before the foundation of the world.
This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life. 1 John 2:25.
And even though I created you eternal, in Adam you changed that, for the wages of sin is death. But I did not leave you without hope, I promised that the woman’s seed would crush the devil’s head, that is, his authority, over mankind. And that imperishable seed, My Word, in which is eternal life came to live among you as one like you in all things except He as not born of Adam’s corrupted seed but of the incorruptible seed of My Word. He had an imperishable eternal life in the flesh to offer Me to redeem you from the one you lost.
And He, My beloved Son, gives you the authority to become My children again in Him.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:12-14.
So how do you receive Jesus and dwell with Me forever starting now? My Words are Spirit and life, John 6:63, so you receive Him according to My Word and here is My Word on it:
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:8-13.
You call on My Name, you believe in your heart, and you speak with your mouth in agreement with My promise and you have what you say. Death and life are in the hand of your tongue.
And when you believe in Christ with the Holy Spirit as a pledge of your total redemption when the Last Day comes you are ready.
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:38-40.
Yes, you are saved forever when you believed the good news of your salvation and took Jesus as your Lord.
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14.
But back to Nicodemus and his nighttime visit to Jesus, having heard about the new birth, he said to Jesus, “How can these things be?” And what was Jesus’ conclusion? It is all by My doing, “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-17.
I love you. Have you taken the opportunity to be born again? It is the best opportunity of all. It is so simple but it determines your forever.
